This December my lil gets married. So since last year and this year all the talk is about the wedding. Yesterday she comes up to me...daddy how we gonna dance and to what song? I held my tears in and had to make a joke about it. She goes why you starting to get teary-eyed? Cuz...I was cutting onions earlier. So this thr first song that came up when I looked daddy daughter songs. It's a beautiful song. I raised my kids by my self, two boys and a girl. It was tough, but now they're all grown and leaving my nest one by one. Been a single dad since 2006, they're MY WORLD. 😢❤😊

1:13 My dad adopted me when I was 2, he's always been there for me and he would take me on father daughter dates to show me the correct way to be treated by a man. I found this song and balled my eyes out, I went to my parents house and made sure my dad was gone and played it for my mom. She sobbed and said it was perfect, I decided I didn't want my dad to know... I kept our father/daughter song a secret until the day of my wedding. I gave a minor speech in honor of the man who raised me, and when the music started playing he started to cry and held me tight because I'll ALWAYS be his little girl

Thankyou Scott for making this song i love lessoning to it, i cry every time, i lost my dad when i was 4 and am 25 now every time i lesson to this song i think of him, i got married on june 29 2021 i wish so much he could of been there i was his little girl , and i lost my uncle Dennis in 2023 of stage four cancer he called me baby girl were he had no daughters he considered me as his daughter and ever since i was little we had close relationship it broke my heart when he died last year :( i miss these men so much me and my husband will be married for 3 years on June 29 of this year am so grateful for him am so happy and greatful am his wife i love him so much

I just discovered this song in the past hour or so and have listened to it four times and have cried four times. As dads, it’s our only wish for our children to be happy and I’m sure that’s all your dad would’ve wanted. I will pray for you during this time and pray that God will give you strength. Lost my dad a few years back.. no grandads left… was going to dance with my brother.. but I think this is perfect for a mother, daughter, brother & sister dance.. & we can all just rotate dance partners.. I’m not getting married yet but when I do… this is it! Just need to make sure I supply little packs of tissues to the tables 😂

I danced with my daughter only child on her wedding day 26th March...this song exactly her..she is beautiful and she made me proud becoming a doctor.She is always my life my world i used to say this from her childhood. I zm ready to die for her.she is so adorable adorable ..may god bkesd her 🙏

My daughter's wedding is next weekend and she gave me a choice of 2 songs but this one came up in the list by YT after I listened to the first song of hers. I like this song much better and I hope she likes it as much as I do. As I was listening, this salty fluid began leaking from both my eyes!

My little girl is only 2 years old but I can't help to watch this over and over and think about the day I get to do this. Not entirely looking forward to it but at the same time I am. Just the other day she wanted to dance in the living room on the tops of my feet, with her arms wrapped around my legs.. and it brought a tear to my eye because one day she'll be a little taller but it'll mean just the same to me. 🥹
