I got the 2024 Road Glide Whiskey Fire with black trim. The people at Destination Harley in Tacoma/Fife, WA were great & took care of me. Apple State is an awesome shop as well. Can't go wrong with them in Yakima!!!

Congrats on the new bike. A joy to see you chose a street glide. There is so much ballyhoo about the road glide its as if a batwing is taboo now. I have had both and most of the differences are very small and both have their good and bad points. Ride safe!!!!

Congrats and agree chrome without a doubt, the blacked out doesn't feel right for a high end classic machine. HD saving lots of $$ avoiding the chroming process and not passing along savings.

Looks like Harley is doing a version of the Indian faring with the turn signal attached to the faring. It is a great safety feature.

congratulations! you deserve it. nice your local dealer was able to support you. helps bring in some of your local LEOs too. thanks for sharing. you were sooooo stoked. I'd love to get a new one but my 2013 FLHTK has 75000 on it and still going strong. My local All American Harley Davidson service department is super. I've had the same tech, who is now the service manager, with my bike since new.

How the dealership takes care of you is key. The HD dealership closest to me, wouldn’t give me the time of day when I rode up on a CBR250R that I had. So I rode away. Went to one about 45 minutes away and they were great. Showed me what I asked to look at, let me ride one but in the end didn’t have the exact bike I wanted… but they earned my business, and I drive past the closest dealership to get to the one that treated me good. I did eventually buy a bike (2 actually) from them.

Many Congratulations and the best of luck !!! Your bike was built about 50 miles from where I live in York, Pa. If you ever get a chance, you have to do the factory tour there. A hard task, since you are on the left coast....lol! I know because my daughter is a transplant and her and the hubby just bought a home in Port Orchard, Wa. and takes a ferry to work in Seattle every day. I have yet to visit their new place. Once again, best of luck with your new hog and keep the rubber side down. FTW

Awhile back, I pulled off my lane on the Sawgrass Expressway, in south Florida, to check on two Harley guys who had pulled off the road. One was on his cellphone. Apparently, he was talking to the service manager at Alligator Alley HD, from whom he had just purchased his bike, His buddy told me that he experienced a problem with the bike, and upon checking it out, found no cap for the oil filler, and there apparently was no oil in the bike. OUCH!!!! I'm sure that he paid for "Dealer prep"! Not the first time that I've heard horror stories about Alligator Alley HD. Maybe that's one reason why I've a Honda...

It's great that the DLC connector functions. My 24 RG's DLC connector isn't functioning. Seems not to have any power per the dealer. There may be a bad pin which I don't think so cause then other things won't work. I'm thinking it is a bad solder connection to the main carb bus wire.

I bought a brand new Heritage and when it broke down twice they didn’t honor the free towing that came with it. It cost me $300 for each tow.

My local dealer forced me to sign an Non Disclosure Agreement along with an anti defamation “social media” agreement! I know they were pisser off because i wound up doing a rider to rider deal! 2020 FLHTP 8900 miles for $13,500 vs literally their same inventory with 18k miles for $17,999 they had assigned 4 people to babysit me no joke couldn’t even urinate without the “fitter” waiting outside the restroom

0:03 Congrats…I just purchased 24 street glide too. Looking for a hi flow air cleaner. So far I only see a couple of screaming eagle options, being they changed the fitment . Have you found any other brands that will fit the 24’s?

Cycle World in Athens Ga are a multi dealership but about 2 years ago Harper pulled their dealership and they are no longer Harley. They treated you like family 😎😎

I bought a CVOST a week before you test the ST has different oil plugs and transmission plugs can’t get them from Harley yet, so how are you supposed to do first service please ask your people

You reuse the drain plugs. They don't need to be replaced when you change fluids. You thread them back in.

@@RyanUrlacher the CVOST has a composite oil pan and a drain plug or just a quarter twist they’re new they’re not on any other bike just to CVOST can look in the system where you order parts in there you can’t order them they have to call

Couldn’t afford a new bike without trading in my old 2016. And everybody knows dealers don’t give you squat for trade ins. Have bought 5 new Harleys and my wife bought 1. They still never gave me a deal on trades

Congrats. I’m going to test ride a 2024 road glide tomorrow. I love the street glide but the bars are too low. Decided to swing a leg over a road glide the other day and I loved how comfortable it was. The bars are perfect. So we will see how it rides tomorrow

Harley did the same thing to my dealer of fifty years. They made them build a multi-level building with one floor dedicated to clothing and yuppie HD riders junk. The lasted a year before they had to close.

Congrats…beautiful bike! I haven’t ridden in the HD world since the end of the Twin Cam era. I realize the M8 engine is far superior to the TC and that most of the earlier M8 issues have (mostly?) been ironed out. But with the memory of the TC crankcase ventilation issue (EPA requirements), oil blow-by running down my pant leg, then installing a breather tube/catch can mod to capture the mess on all the HD’s I ever owned (5), I’d be reluctant to own another, the newer M8 notwithstanding. Otherwise, I still love the look, overall performance and sound.
