@ChinBrim you have to have a degree in science and psychology. Once you've become a master of both you can focus on this video really hard, and hopefully you'll be able to magically appear in the video to become apart of it. But... it takes a very strong will power, I haven't been able to do it yet.

i really wanna be in elo hell vids but i feel like im not good enough to be part of it, i just dont know how to get value especially as dps. even on losing games, i usually have positive KD and few deaths. maybe i play like a coward, maybe my positioning is bad, but idk how to check that even in VOD reviews cause idk what i could've done better but tbh the worst part is knowing when to overcommit and when to back tf out

I actually wanted to post that like 2 seasons ago. I'm duoing with a friend and he carried a lot. My aim is shit positioning is shit and yet I hit diamond 2 seasons and master once in dps. We joke about it when we're playing like we deserve to be bronze and yet hardstuck diamond.

This is a tricky idea for a video. i believe this guy is genuine, but it would be so easy for people to fake 'being bad' just to get into the lobby and then troll or just roll the enemy team. Cool occasional video idea, but probably not best to have it be a regular video, because it could be easy to manipulate.

fr, i always say "less typing more playing" in chat. this one tank flamed me for having 3k damage... on tracer? so he went "yes playing with 3k damage" i went "okay thanks for pointing out the obvious" and his only responses were "3k" so i ignored him. forgot if we won or lost, but yeah i hate broken records like that

I am in Elo Hell 100%. (Silver 4) If I win, it goes up 19% and says expected. If I loose it goes down like 33+%. Also, when I get to the end of the rank, I have to climb the same rank again, It's so confusing how the ranking works. I am playing support at the moment and always have the most healing on the game.

The one stat that is somewhat telling is deaths. Also, healing is important, but killing the enemy reduces the incoming damage, which is more impactful.

@@Minotsu exactly, it's why supports can kill shit. If you apply pressure and take out the enemy you dont have to heal your team as much because the incoming damage is reduced massively. Supporting means finishing off enemies and applying pressure from places the rest of the team can't.

Yea support this season is impossible to climb 😂 even when you have a stack for some reason the other stack is better every time but when solo your randoms are bots. Not to mention, everyone thinks you need to heal bot the whole game like they aren’t feeding and have bad positioning and out of Los, running in 1v5 expecting to win, there’s a reason supports are op and it’s not their heals (usually)

i wont lie. there's times where i feel like im better than silver/gold but other times i end up hitting a losing streak where i feel like im worse than even bronze.... and its more often that i feel worse than bronze. ive been watching your content for a short while now and been picking up little tricks as i go by and it has helped quite a bit^^

bruh this is so relatable. I'm also boosted to masters support last season . I hate it because I can't compete with the other team support no matter how hard I try but I still keep ranking up. I decided to try competitive again because of the refresh in ranks thinking it finally place me lower but I got placed in diamond 1 and now I give up lol.

I think he deserves a high platinum: he peeks window he rarely stays in high ground (dim positioning ain’t bad, high ground’s basic) he keeps on charging the Doom I think Dim player doesn’t do these mistakes consistently, still he got potential . . Also i’ve met a lot of ppl getting a higher rank for being simply lucky so yeah it’s a thing in fact 😂

The thing with gold players and plat players is I can never tell if they are BS their rank or higher rank. Players like the doom played better than games I seen in master games in occasions

The thing to keep in mind is that he would be punished much harder in a higher rank. He might not look as good with better players melting him down.

Maybe he belongs in a lower diamond division. Like D4. But he definitely is diamond and I know he deserves to be based off of the little things he does to out maneuver the doom on Soldier with the pillar in contrast with the lobby. Going back to the doom. That doom was full health and decided to fall back instead of taking the 1v1 which he definitely could've if he commited slam and dove Crix. I mean. Since everyone is basically a few division to 1 rank lower this season, he'd likley be VERY high plat to low diamond (I think Jay said he was D3) But, as far as I'm concerned, he belongs in diamond.

I will say, I am masters tank on my account, but sometimes I play on my wife's account, which I got up to high plat. I have a harder time winning in the plat games than the masters games. The level of feeding and staggering can be unreal. There is a point where some people understand team fights, while others just have good mechanics, and it is a real toss of the dice what you get.

I think it’s funny that Jay doesn’t think there are many people who don’t think they belong in the rank they got put in and yet I’m one of them! In season 9 I got placed into high Masters as support and I stopped playing rank because of that. At highest I’m a gold player, any match I tried to play that was masters I was getting absolutely rolled and flamed lmao

Yeeaaa he deserves his rank. There’s a lot of reasons but on the first map as widow; 1. He was actually getting elims 2.Had awareness when he was being flanked 3. When he switched it wasn’t to a sombra or sym instead of a character they’re good at(cuz all low elo dps do that).

Hiya Jay, I kinda like reverse elo hell videos because I'm in a similar boat. I've peaked masters 1 but I don't feel like I deserve it AT ALL. Like low-mid plat is were I feel I belong and a lot of what this guy said resonated with me heavily. So it's kinda fun to see that maybe just because it feels like I suck, maybe I don't completely. Personally, as someone who is stuck in the lower Elios Zada and Lucio isn’t necessarily like the most fun to play because not everyone know how to position and keep out of the damage zone for a while and then re-enter so healing output so we feel like we’re forced to do damage right but whenever we start doing damage n not actively healing even though they have been sitting inside of Lucio’s circle the whole time or they have a orb on them it just doesn’t work out

At 24:30, yeah im not sure why people aren't running zen more. It's a dps meta, so you'd think picking characters that are good at helping the dps pop off would be a no-brainer. Very few of the games I play, which are gold and climbing now, have a zen on my team. I get a lot of mercy's and lw's instead

same, as a previous onetrick mercy i now became an ultimate flexer, since i barely play my main role anymore but i cant really consider dps as a main role so i dont even know what my role is. i used to be a widow/reaper player, switched reaper for soldier, then got bored of BOTH and switched to tracer, but when losing on her i tried echo (i literally had 3 hrs on echo and i just went "screw it, she seems fun enough" IN COMP) then i went bastion if i had to, even ashe who i also dont play, idk man i play based on my mood

it took me 4 years to propose but my last partner called it off because she said "i don't love you like that no more". I was VERY upset and hurt but after that things got worse for me then i eventually found a new partner after a month later. I am way better off now and since i learned my first lesson i will propose when ever my partner is way serious about now but me and current partner are going to get our own place soon and propose. me and her were looking at rings recently for each other and picked three so we will still be surprise of which one we will get.

Honestly i can relate, thought i was gold, MAX plat on pc as that is what i used to be on console like 5 years ago. A few weeks ago i decided to play comp (as i dont really do that anymore) and found out i was top of diamond 1. 11 comp games total on pc, 9 for placements season 8 and 2 a while before. Got a good shock when i saw diamond

The ranked system should be adjusted to take individual score so that people like me that solo/duo queue could move up when we consistently play better than everyone in our games but still lose half of them due to the rest of our team being too heavy to carry it would be sooooo much better. We deserve a much higher rank and quite frankly we feel like we are bullying people in our games. We get people on the other team leaving because they think we are smurfing when in reality we just cant 2v5 to climb to where we belong.

Dude I 100% would join as I somehow hit plat on dps while I'm an old (30+) guy with horrendous reflexes, a very limited hero pool and although I hate to admit it, my brain processing power has deteriorated to the point where I can't even process comms while trying to aim. And still I am that guy that thinks he can strategize so I start either stumbling over my own words as I aim like crap, or I straight up start shooting walls and air while I communicate somewhat decently. I'm terrible. If I fail I at least get to use my overplacement for the entertainment of others. If somehow I succeed, I get a little confidence boost and get to low-key shit on other players my rank because suddenly all my self-insults apply to them as well now as apparently, my dumb ass fits right in with them 😋

You should do the same type of video, but make it so that the whole lobby is the same rank as the reverse elo hell player. So for example the whole lobby would be diamond this video, and you reveal it at the end
