The B.S. we have to endure. Every day something new emerges. When I moved into this street in 1980. My car was the 4th. The street now has overflowed. A man moved in next door 3 years ago and said we need residents parking. He is a bit of a busy- body, into everyone's business. The type who sits at the window looking watching trying tobe there where and everywhere. Interfeering. Got elected onto the council and introduced residents parking it now costs £45.00 a year for a parking permit. Not guaranteed to park in the street, sometimes have to park upto quarter mile away. This busy-body always parks outside his house. Sometimes moving his car 2 or 3 lengths to park at his house.

I'd prefer a no Labour neighbourhood.

I prefer when councils use our funds wisely. With regards to roads in particular, this means using the funds to repair and maintain the roads.

Low traffic is more annoying than anything. I've had epilepsy since I was 10 and I'm now 49. Last year I messed around trying to get my bus pass renewed only to find out that the bus I was once able to get to and from town every 20 minutes is now once per hour to cut costs. There's plenty of people who rely on buses to get around for other various reasons like getting to work but what happens when due to unforseen circumstances your hourly bus can't make it? You gonna call in and say my bus only runs once an hour and didn't arrive so sorry I'll be an hour late.

How about getting more police on the streets to make them safer? Especially for English women and girls

Having paid Rates and Road Tax for forty six years now along with other taxes, I am more than a little upset that the roads are now getting increasingly more difficult to negotiate. Traffic calming and one way systems have only made things worse with large areas designated 'no stopping zones', it seems roads that were constructed to facilitate freedom of movement are now being used for the complete opposite and to rub salt into the wound. It's our money that pays for these detrimental changes. I think it is time for a 'General Strike'. We need a new type of government. Here's an idea. How about we have a government of the people for the people? that would be novel.

I live in the London Borough of Hounslow, the council have introduced these LTNs without properly consulting people as to whether they'd actually want them, the great majority didn't. They've done the same with unused cycle lanes that restrict motor traffic causing congestion and then the council places monitoring stations to measure the pollution that they have caused, though of course they blame the motorist. The very left Hounslow Council are very much in the thrawl of Sediq Khan and all of his anti-car policies and they clearly want to emulate him.

Governments and councils often conduct surveys. That survey is pointless as they have already made a decision....it's all about "Oh, we consulted the community". This is a rare case of survey results becoming public.
