I'm pretty sure the problem is that "Book Boyfriends" and all the audacious things they do or say only work so well because the readers are superimposing Perfect Execution of facial expression, body language, vocal tone and cadence, and physical prowess on top with their imaginations. The worst thing about this is, that I feel like I recognize this voice... I'd love someone to send me a casserole, or bake as they are called in the UK. I'm American so I name things using a mix of US and UK names. But anyway ya I'd be sooooo happy. As long as it had enough spice/flavors, so if it was my own grandma who still ate like she was living on war rations in the 90s I'd be thankful but probably give mist to my 2 girls who like planer foods. Where as me and my other 2 kids would want to added some extra pepper at the very least. But that woman was like a mother to me, so her food may have been plain but I loved what she gave me. I stayed away from the offer of cold baked bean and beetroot sandwiches 🥪 omg where she got that from 😢. And I looked in a huge pot on the hob one day after school, and that was it, I've never gone near ox tail soup 🍲. She was boiling a full ox tail in a pot 😮. And eeewwww the smell. So sorry to go on, I have a serious rambling problem. So thanks for reading. All to say I'd be super pleased to get anything cooked, or baked and sent to me for my family.
