Okay, you two are like my Saturday morning cartoons as an adult! Like I wake up on Saturday excited because I get to chill with a bowl of cereal and watch my two faves!
At 5:35 "Adding cabinets to the door." I love it! I do this too, so it gave me a chuckle.🤣 🤦🏻♀️ 🥰 This DIY turned out so well. What a beautiful way to conceal those two items. The magnet for accessing the area is a great idea.
Great job! I like the magnet idea. Another way of doing this would have been to build a panel (or a couple of panels) of the slats that could be held by magnets. That way you wouldn't have to try and ensure each individual slat is positioned correctly, which I think may become tedious and annoying over time. This way you would only have a few panels to position with the slats affixed to it and spaced correctly allowing the airflow and similar look.
What if you put 2 crossbars at the top and bottom on the back of the slat section, so you don't have to take off each and every board when you need to service the ac?
I am considering buying the course. I mainly make content with the tool sounds and no voice over. Will the course be a benefit to me because I don't do many voice overs?
We’d love to have you join us! I think it totally would! It’s not just tailored to the types of videos I make (or videos with VO even), but rather it focuses on things like how to understand analytics, work with brands, create multiple streams of income, make thumbnails, etc.
Years ago, visiting a male friend. I arrived and he was distressed because the IKEA "saw-horse tressel table" he'd assembled kept falling over. When I saw his "assembly efforts" I was just "fast-forwarded" to ROTFLMAO, & repeat, LOL... apparently not the desired response. Instead of splaying legs of the tressels /saw horses legs splaying out, somehow he'd discovered an IKEA "impossible configuration", so the tressels legs pointed in and it all fell over like a Myotonic Goat. Apparently at the end of the the 1st quarter of the 21st Century, woke males are now incapable of assembling IKEA "furniture"; even when they have the pictographic instructions.
This whole room turned out so well! I do have one critique. I would have preferred to cut the shelf around the window trim. That way some day when someone redoes the room, they won't have to replace the window trim if they remove the shelf. That said, all the other more permanent changes you made will forever improve the room, so you're still way ahead. Love the magnet solution! Beautiful job!
This was a genius build with the magnets! You're both adorbs and love seeing how you both problem solve, yet make the space look pleasing to the eye xx
Looks fab! Only change I would’ve made is put another narrow cupboard beside the other one to utilise that empty space 😄👍 the magnet idea is a game changer!
