No offense, but if this is actually how the mod is supposed to be played, it's basically a pointless mod. There's no way to survive all of that chaos, let alone understand what's going on. The Leviathans in the game are supposed to be scary. This mod just spams tons of them at you and is like "okay have fun". How is that fun?
I don’t feel like the mod should be played with other mods, Maybe the multiplayer mod, But maybe if it had a story it would be better, But the boss had too much.
Base game: "Let's spawn Ghost Leviathan at the Void just in case they are too curious too reach far away from the map limits" Mod: "If you ever wanted an obligatory fight against a Leviathan to reach an objective in the game, here is a boss battle against 100 FREAKING LEVIATHANS ALL AT ONCE, have fun"

I heard of a leviathan so big if you were to go 5000+ plus meters below the void you would see an eye that stretches all over the void (before anyone asks the eye fits through the entire void and the model for it is just an eye so just imagine how big it is)
U talking abt the colossal void leviathan? No its not an eye btw its the mouth of the thing and it latches onto the D.A.D submersible with its split tongue (if im correct in the actual game lore the creature does exist but so little is known about it that they only know how big it is) P.S it literally takes bites out of the planets crust
idea of having him attack the reactor things is alright but i think it would take quite a while to do, apart from that, this mod seems really good. By the way that bacon plushie better be made of entireley bacon.
I really hope that this and return of the ancients are gonna be compatible. I know the Return of the ancients mod is gonna be a while before it's open to the public but it has potential to give that first playthrough feeling back to the player and then some!
Man, subnautica have lots of potential, I could like to see a novel of subnautica, where it tell us how riley, feel in the planet, the fear, or having encounters with the warpers, ghost leviathan, or the reaper, the sea dragon and the emperor, it could be so interesting how he felt during subnautica
This mod (and especially the boss fight) is very contrasting and sometimes even conflicts with what everyone is used to seeing in Subnautica. But the idea itself is as epic as possible. By the way, last time you said that maybe it's time... So, is it time?
Will this mod eventually be added to the 2.0 build of the game (current version) because this along with the submersed VR mod would be a dream come true
I'm playing vanilla, i'm still on the part that sunbeam gets sunbeamed, i got there too soon and i can only wait the time pass, cause i cant bring myself to go anywhere near water. I do not see myself going anywhere near this mod anytime ever.
Honestly, the mod just doesn’t feel like it was gameplay tested. Like the boss for example, did they not test it? Oh and it definitely makes socks look like a narcissist. Great video though!
I get what you’re saying - and it’s certainly rough in places but at the same time it’s free and probably the biggest (released) mod for the game to date so I’ll take it :) Hopefully they update it some more!
You should try and make a island yourself with the terraformer mod, and you can also make a base that is perfectly fitted for that island. I know you like doing challenges with no meaning and much work :)
I just watched the tech pistol video and you should make a whole subnautica video making big things small and small things big, like making the peeper into a leviathan or making the sea dragon into a baby
Yeah i think u missed it Spoilers below if u wnna know A massive creature eats the submersible (massive is an understatement) The creature is called the “colossal void leviathan” and its so big it literally takes bites out of the planets crust. Many missions and expeditions were sent out to research the thing but there is so little about it because it is so deep down that we literally only have brief information on how big it actually is

Definitely excited to see the mod develop, polish some of the new creatures, especially that Hydra Garg thing! The starting cinematic was cool and the new vehicles are AMAZING! So excited to see it all pan out and get cleaned up! That said...Am I the only one who's getting just a smidge tired of how almost every big mod is just "New stuff in the void wheeee!" and all that? Like I get that it's a big empty canvas for modders to go ham with and, don't get me wrong! I won't deny that a lot of them have been really cool! Especially this and Return of the Ancients! But there is a part of me that kinda feels a twinge of disappointment when all these new mods just kinda constantly start with "Alright so let's head out to the void", y'know? ^^'
i have a question, i just downloaded some mods with Nexus subnautica mods and i was wondering 2 things, 1: how do i add the mods into the game 2: can i have mods from different webistes (Nexus, submodica) in the same game
It's a cool mod for sure but I do gotta say, making it more about fighting & defeating giant creatures doesn't really feel like Subnautica anymore. Maybe that's the point tho so I don't mind, it's just an addition after all
