This Dodge Nitro R/T was Scrapped but Why? An Impala is NOT a Luxury Car! 

Is the Audi A1 a Luxury car? It's an Audi... What about an Audi A4 or a S4 ? Are they Luxury cars? And a Mercedes Benz A Class starting at 33.950 hunters? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 And a BMW 2 Series or an old 118? Are those luxury cars or at least more luxurious than an Impala?

I heard that blend door motor clicking on the impala. I’ve replaced 3 of them on that car. 2 are easy one is a pain.

I had a 2012 Impala LTZ, bought it used with 30k on it back in 2013. Fully loaded. It was silver with a beige interior, factory 18 inch rims and a sunroof. The 2012s were the first year to offer the 3.6L and 6 speed auto. It was a great car. I sold it in Nov 2019 and it had about 70k miles on it at the time. June 2020 I bought a brand new 2020 Impala Premier. Black (inside and out), fully loaded, sunroof, heated and cooled front seats, 20 inch wheels, adaptive cruise control. I still have the car and take really good care of it. The car has been pretty good so far and it has less than 13k miles on it so far (I drove trucks for a while which is why the miles are so low). Only issue I had was when the car was still new, about a week later the A/C stopped working. Took a year for me to finally get around to fixing it. The had to replace the evaporator which is located in the dash. It was covered under warranty but it still was very annoying. The 2020 Impala is a much better car overall than the 2012 Impala I had. More room inside and better materials, but you are 100% correct. The Impala is NOT a luxury car. I've owned mine for 3 years and I still don't look at my car and say it screams luxury. It is nowhere near that level. Its just a nice premium full size sedan but less than luxury.

Back in 2006 i bought the first Nitro delivered into Central kentucky. I loved it! Black on black. Supercool vehicle IMO. Great content as always Randy. And Oscar Mike is the "Freedom Edition", my wife has a Red one that we bought in 2021.

the jeep wheels are like that because the rear brakes are smaller than the fronts... ie the fronts will be something like 15' discs vs 13' discs for the rear and the spare will be a 15' size rim (i'm guessing here) so you need the full size rim at the front to keep it rolling

Luxury is in the eye of the beholder...I had a 2004 Impala LS (top model at the time) with leather, heated seats, sunroof all the goodies...car to me was luxury performed very well, quiet, rode great. To each their own...I can say the same about the 2002 Trailblazer LTZ my wife had loaded to the gills with everything they offered, rode great, quiet and felt like a luxury suv...my uncle who had a Jaguar when we had these I rode in it with him and thought the interior felt cheap and the ride was ok but not great...he loved his car but I thought for what I paid for both of those Chevies I got the better deal...to each his own.

When the Nitro was new I thought they were cool. This girl I went to school withs mom had one when it first came out and I loved it. Was black like yours with the chrome wheels.

I bought a A6 Hybrid 2014 two years ago, a good car and loving it.

Randy had a 07 impala ss what a fun car. Loved it

I bought a brand new General Motors Holden SL/X 5-Speed Gemini Sedan back in 1982 in Australia. It was a Special Order so I had to wait for it to come in and I picked it up after work, in the dark and checked it out the next morning. Once I got it out into the Sunlight my Heart sank!! The entire left side of the Car had bad Paint with mottled metallic and shrink back, loads of Filler in the rear Quarter Panel, and Paint brushed over the Guard Bolts and Door Pins. To top that off the Oil Filler had blown out of the Tappet Cover blowing Oil everywhere under the Bonnet! The Engine was faulty with bad Rings and the Brakes would lock up if you placed your Tow on the pedal as if you pulled the Hand Brake on with the rear Wheels locking up! I took it back immediately the next Morning before opening time and they actually told me "To go F**k myself! I tried every thing, even bringing a Solicitor onto the case, but I could not prove that they knew it was damaged, and they counter-claimed that me being a Panel Beater, had smashed it on my way home Saturday night and repaired it the next day. Unfortunately Australia does not have Lemon Laws like the US. I SWORE I would NEVER Buy another NEW GM Car again. And I have not. I have owned many Used GM Cars since, but would not piss my money away on buying another new one after how I was treated! After GM shutting Holden manufacturing down I cannot wait for them to fall on their own Sword! Many American's LOVE the Pontiac GTO Coupes, Pontiac G8 Sedans, Chevrolet SS Sedans and Caprice PPV's that Holden built for Chevrolet and sold in the US. Many are also pissed when GM closed Pontiac down, missing out on the Pontiac G8 Sport Truck (new El Camino) they were about to receive.

My late father has a 2007 SS with only 59,000 miles on it and that car in my honest opinion is a monster the cold start on it with no mods sounds just ufffff one day I’ll own it and try to keep it as my dad left it

If you bought a 2016 Impala LT it would have come from the factory with remote start if it doesn't have it on the key then someone programmed a non remote start key for it. Anything over the LS trim comes with factory remote start. I've had 4 impalas so far and loved every one of them. Super reliable cars especially if you keep up with your regular maintenance on them.

I've owned several Impalas and currently have a 2012 Impala. It's a big car by today's standards but they're the most reliable cars I've ever owned.

I had a rental nitro once. I loved it, it just needed a manual and it would have been gold.

I got a 14 impala ltz fully loaded for 6500 clean title with under 100k miles love that car

On the gladiator I'm pretty sure the upper and lower control arms are bent I bent my lower control arm on my Mojave and it cost me 175 and about an hour to replace

The Buick LeCross is a nice car, but not a luxury car. It kinda fits in what was once referred to as the ‘near luxury’ class. Better than regular, but not quite premium.

Get seat covers by k9 brand. They are waterproof and no hairs or slobber on your cloth seats. I have them on my Silverado.

Buick is considered a premium brand. It is supposed to compete with Chrysler, Mazda, Acura and Infiniti. However, Buick nowadays do not have the actual models to compete with Mazda, Acura and Infiniti. And Chrysler only has two models 300 and Pacifica minivan. To me, luxury is Mercedes, BMW, Cadillac, Lexus, Lincoln, Genesis, Land Rover and Jaguar etc.

I think maybe the term for top trim level impala's and Buicks should be " near luxury " . Also, my theory on bad new cars are they were built on a Monday or Friday. Line workers po'ed about having to be back at work on Monday and can't wait for the day to be over on Friday.

I like the Impalas from the previous gen compared to the new one. But you are right! American luxury is Lincoln and Cadillac not Chevy and ford.

Actually, the previous gen impala is still bigger, wider , and longer than the new Malibu.
