Yeah I'd rather have people talk about the cooking tbh because that's the main focus of this series. The food looks bomb, especially by a chef as known as Lee Yeon Bok. Definitely want to eat at his restaurant one day.

is the batter made of 1 cup of starch and 2/3 cup of water and egg and oil? (sweet potato starch 70, potato starch 20, cornstarch 10. Add water and let it sit for few minutes or hour? Remove water and add egg and oil & mix)

Mix 1 cup starch and 3 cups of water in a bowl with a spoon. Let it sit on the kitchen counter until the starch sinks to the bottom of the bowl and turns solid (about one and a half hour). When the water and starch separated completely, pour out only the water and keep the soaked starch for the batter. Add about 2tbsp of beaten egg, mix and add about 3 tbsp of oil then mix again. This is what I got after my research 🤣

I want to adapt his house system. actually now that i think abt it I've seen lots of korean did that too. For me who wants to be as close as possible to my mother forever since i don't want her to be lonely and for me to still be able to take care of her later in life but i also dream of having my own family and my our own privatcy later since i don't like the idea of anyone else but me and my husband to influence or invaded our marriage life i feel like having separate whole floor for my mom and my own family is a great idea or build a house with a bridge between two house or something. I don't know abt the future but my husband have to be ready to accept my mother living with us, but i also respect him that's why that system is great. While in the same house but still with much more privacy and i have a place to run to if we fight (not to my mom, to the shared living room and eat lmao)
