I'm an Asian man and never been overseas. I can barely speak English but it is one of my dreams to attend a church where my African American brothers and sisters are leading worship before the Lord takes me away. I'm a musician myself and I watch a lot of praise and worship bands on RU-vid, but my brothers and sisters (from the black church as they say) passion is really different. God bless you all.
I'm not sure if you know but I think these people are singing in an African language not English and may be in Africa not in America. I liked your comment though! 😊
I know the first is from Mercy Chinwo's satisfied album (don't remember the title of the particular song) and the second song Judikay - too much. Might be mistaken with the titles. But it's from these two artistes
Common guys, what's with the criticisms, this piece of music is a celebration and a song of thanksgiving. The lively manner in which it's been played serves that purpose very well. Well, when you're in a room where there's too many drum rolls please don't join in the worship, fold your arms and sit there analysing how the drummer is having too many rolls. Very anti-Christ behaviour. SMH.
He is not over playing. He's playing along with the base player. The paradille fills are just iniated spiritually. Very excellent drummer indeed. Much 💘
