Taking shots at guys trying to get attention by being political. Specifically guys who are directly aiming at the conservative/MAGA crowd. There's a few of em, and one really big one. Personally, as someone who voted for Trump, I would rather not have that stuff in my music. Or at least be creative and present it in a way that doesn't push people away or rely on the division and controversy. Brodnax is NOT about that. I can have his tracks pop up while listening to UGK, Nas, etc and it fits. Definitely check out the rest of his stuff. He really doesn't miss and it's a breath of fresh air among all the trash stuff that's popular and the "underground" artists that seem determined to limit their exposure and long-term relevance.
