Love my new Extreme. I'm using the 750-lb coil shock on the hard pin setting and have the latest firmware installed. Last weekend I went to take it out for a spin around the block and ended up riding it 4 hours! It handles so well on the trails and climbs hills with such ease. Great wheel. 👍
I have both wheels and I do agree for the most part. It’s a more comfortable wheel for inspiring confidence. A bigger wheel and tire make the wheel feel more stable and you get slightly less wobbles. It’s so well balanced even powered off it balances its self and the true x style suspension linkage (king song has a patten on) allows for a smooth 130mm of suspension travel (when it works). So far they are the only company to get a coli shock right on the euc but have yet to master a good “slider” desig. With that being said the s22 line up so far has had a lot of issues and Eevees is no longer selling them. I have 2500 miles on my s22 and so far long term my only issues have all been solved by later versions e wheels offers the best value for the s22 comes with the upgraded steel core motor to prevent barring issues (i have this issue) It comes with the higher discharge Samsung 40t cells Hou Ning Ning suspension sliders and linkage bolts/barrings STOCK along with an upgraded charge port. They also offer the begode Extreme in stock with the bad boy 50s cells! 🤙. Things I like about the extreme… high torque c40 motor , nimble , dedicated trail wheel.
Great review.... I hit my PB Top Speed today on my Begode Extreme 72km/h.... Can't wait for my full Grizzla fairing kit to arrive so i can push it a bit more.... Well done Guy's.... Thanx 4 sharing
At first, almost all EUC influencers were negative on the V14, but of late, like a slow burn, I'm noticing a much more positive shift. I can't figure out what's accounting for the more positive shift. I'd love to see the V14-50S put through the same test as is in this video. Any chance?😊
Nice to hear from you guys again. I like hearing your honest opinion/impressions at the end there Lukas. Would be cool to hear your guys thoughts on the new 150v and 168v wheels coming out and what that'll mean for the future of eucs (basically as they get faster and faster.)
Agree with Lukas on the pads on the trail. I had absolutely no feeling of control with it with the default pads. Even my T4 default pads gave me more control, but I still changed those out very fast to some Agro pads.
The Extreme seems like a good option for some, but I prefer a slightly larger diameter wheel for off-roading because the extra diameter gets less upset by big potholes and wash outs or large, loose rocks. And it's more comfortable over long distances. But I'm sure the Extreme will work out well for someone wanting shorter distances and lighter weight. That's my observation based on comparing my Master and the Patton after hundreds of off-road miles on both. Patton does have a great range considering the size of its battery.
If looking for some city riding, which one would you recommend between this and the KingSong s16 Pro as a first EUC for someone weighing 205lbs, 5'9? Would appreciate your recommendation.
They are completely different animals. It depends on what speeds you want to go. I would recommend the Patton over the Extreme. The S16 Pro could be underpowered depending on what type of riding you plan on doing.
I love my extreme but my only complaint is I do not feel that locked in like I want to be with the pads even though they make the extreme look really cool
Good to hear you enjoying your wheel, 40-45 mph doesn't seem very fast? I realize it's a off-roader but still.. specs are good, can't understand why this bad boy can at least hit 50 mph for crying out loud.. are those pads easy to swap out with grizzla or Clark?
@busybody1474 I hit 45 and I was too scared to push it much faster than that. It probably could hit 50 but I'm not going to push it to its limits because I don't want to get hurt and mess my wheel up.. when you're at top speed that C40 motor gets thirsty. The ex 30 has the same motor but it has bigger battery capacity to keep the higher speeds up.. I ride it on streets more than I do Trails but I stick to like neighborhood roads, greenway, 35 mph roads. I don't really have a need to go 50.
Ended up getting this wheel! Unfortunately you guys were sold out, but I do love this wheel and hope you guys end up offering the 50s version soon ❤ I will be sending my s22 pro to get fixed and upgraded once I’m back in town! Appreciate your guys work
@@frontRangeFloaters wow! Brother! You got the sickest channel by far. It's excellent. I love your vids. I'm going with the begode. I got the v13 challenger but it's too big
@@theoBaba773 thanks man I really appreciate that! Lots of hard work goes into these videos! Working on a suspension review between the aftermarket options to the Begode factory to see what really needs upgrading. Should be up next week !
I do wonder how much it actually differs from the Master. The specs are so similar. It's like all the problems people had with the Master are fixed in the Extreme. I guess it handles bit better with the bit better motor and much better suspension.
Top speed 40-45 mph, Master hits 60 all day long.. That's your first difference come on dude.. do you know Jesus Christ? His Holy name must only be treated with utmost honor and respect
I would never buy a wheel from eevee's again, zero customer service. the manufacturer had to contact them to replace a dead wheel they sent out, only then did they finally respond over a year later.
I'm sorry but this does not sound like something we would do. We have a team of customer service reps that respond to every email usually within an hour during business hours. If we sent out a dead wheel, we would surely replace it as per our policy. Are you able to provide me with your name or email so I can look into this matter? It seems very suspicious however because we pride ourselves in giving the best customer service possible.
@@ankken3774 I'm sorry but unless you can provide me with your name or email so I can look up your email correspondence, I don't believe you. We would never make someone wait over a year for a response. I understand if you don't want to post it here but please email hello [at] eevees [dot] com so I can look into this.
@@eevees @eevees It took me multiple emails and a chat through your website before I could get someone to answer regarding a replacement wheel being offered through inmotion. Then you all try to pull a fast one on me and send a cheaper wheel to me instead of the replacement offered by inmotion. Wild that you guys are calling someone a liar when I have had the same experience W I L D
@@eevees we will see, my trip isn’t confirmed yet. Is not that big of a deal, I’m just south at Seattle. Have you thought about joining us for the 3rd anniversary of Saturday Night Ride? I think it’ll happen in spring.
Witaf are you doing, I'm 2 minutes in an, I'm seriously on the fence if I'm going to even finish the video. I'm not here for music. Please fire whoever the guy is that says the music while you're talking is ok. It's not ok. Love you guys and what you do, but I don't need the dramatic music at all. Maybe I'm special/an idiot, but seriously, there's no drama, we don't need the music. This comment is completely and only based on the first 2 minutes or so of the video. I hopefully won't have any complaints later on lol.
Made it to about the 5 minute mark, still doing the bs music, so I skipped to 8ish minute mark, wtf, still music, while you're talking. Who is this for? It's ruining my experience, but you've had to choose this for a reason right? Do children watch this and need music, is it genz, is it genx, idk , who is it for? Seriously I don't understand it, this is the only video of yours that I've watched and the music ruined any interest I've had. Maybe I'm old and grumpy, maybe I shouldn't have commented, because I'm not the target audience. But still man, fuck me
The music in the background wouldn't be half as bad and noticable if not for the fact that their voices are mixed way too quiet, audibly like half volume of what they should be. Also seem a bit muffled but it just might be because they are plain quiet while the music is low-passed (they at least did that, thankfully, otherwise I wouldn't even be able to tell what they were saying).
Sorry about this. For some reason it doesn't sound bad at all on my computer or with my AirPods so it's weird some are finding it hard to hear. Our editor checked this as well and couldn't hear what you guys seem to be hearing. We'll try and make sure this doesn't happen again in future videos.
@@eevees If I may suggest as to why this happened: in some parts of the video your voices are the correct loudness, and a few times they are even too loud (particularly at 3:31, 4:50, 17:51, that's when you laugh or scream) - that suggests your microphone audio track is ucompressed, and it should be. (That means the audio is equlized in volume across the whole recording - the loudest parts are brought a bit down, and the quietest a bit up. I'm sure there is a function to do that in every decent video editing software.) It might be that the airpods compress the audio themselves, and that's why you couldn't hear the problem. I don't know what your editor uses for mixing, but I can personally recommend two things: using studio monitors (speakers like the Yamaha HS-7/ HS-8) or non-bluetooth, regular headphones, like the Sennheiser HD58X (they are neutral sounding and won't add any processing to the sound themselves, as they are just powered by a cable, without any microprocessor in them.)
