Glad you liked it. One thing this game doesn't get enough credit for is how well it foreshadows and drops hints the whole time and you really don't notice it until a second time through. Like my favorite hint at what's going on with Tidus is in the very beginning when Rikku and the AlBhed capture him. When Tidus asks why they attacked him Rikku says "we thought you were a fiend". Once you know that fiends and aeons are both creatures brought about by pyreflies collecting, and that Tidus is basically an Aeon since he's a dream of the Fayth, that line gets a whole new meaning. Because Rikku was so close to being right.

story of FFX is a not a happy ending Theme. tidus is a figment of imagination hes one of a million died and brought back as a responds to sins havoc by fayth, yes hes more like a summoning fiend. and he didnt even know hes dead when sin destroyed his hometown while playing Blitzball.

1:25 Sin falling at night as the airship rises in front of it might me my favourite shot in gaming, with that BONG sound. So symbolic too.

Some great lore in X-2 about the war between Bevelle and Zanarkand and how it brought Sin around (forget the Jecht Braska Auron prequel, do that instead), I'd argue many parts of X-2 are darker and more ambiguous thsn how they appear on X with no easy answers on how to move a world forward.

I cannot wait to see you play X-2 it's gonna be wild. It's definitely a different game, but it's also literally the same word

I felt like I was playing Chess fighting Jecht. The ending was Beautiful.

It was very good, but to be honest, the ending to Final Fantasy 7 still for me is one of the greatest endings to anything ever, for many reasons, but I can't pick it apart in a youtube comment because it would be spoilers. They had this streak between 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, these games are the true goats of Final Fantasy.

I really hope you enjoy x-2. It's definitely not as great as ffx but I still think it's a good game. The main issue with the game is that the requirements for the true ending can be really difficult to meet.

Warning: 10-2 shits all over 10 so bad that I don't even consider 10-2 to be cannon. I just pretend it doesn't even exist.

I think 7 does everything better than 10 (also the ending) but it's still a fantastic game. Specially the vibe, the soundtrack, most of the characters and yeah, the ending.

I dont think its a masterpiece because I dont see these characters in fortnite. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
