I think the main reason people don't like the Camelot movies is NOT that they were bad, but that they deviate a fair bit from the source material in the mobile game. A couple of servants (and a non-servant npc) were cut, a couple of events were cut (including a quite important long scene regarding the 7 singularity's overarching plot) and the order of events was changed a bit to have the remaining scenes make sense. I'd say the movies are fine for what Camelot is in the game, but if they ever get around to animating the lostbelts, I hope they don't have to do something like this again.

no it was the pacing its was called at one point Desert walking simulator because that was a huge part of the movie just walking one place from the dessert to another because they had to cut alot of things it turned out like that

The pacing is bad too. But, I can forgive that. What I anr forgive is they remove Hundred Faces from this movie 😭😭😭😭

I really don't understand the need to have Hundred Faces and Touta. They were two of the most minor characters in that arc.

On initial watch, I had my problems with the cut content/characters, pacing and lack of animation polishing on some fights. However, learning that the anime film was based on the screenplay over the game made me take a step back and enjoy it more for what it was. I still wish that they included the one scene with Ozymandias getting decapitated by First Hassan.

The flashbacks are what happened in history during Artoria’s time. What’s happening in this singularity is different. All the knights were summoned by the Lion King which is why they’re “back” now.

I loved this movie too personally. Just there is a lot of cut content from the mobile game version like some servants didn't even show up or another encounter with Sherlock Holmes (that is important in the grand scheme of the Grand Order but isn't really relevant to the singularity itself so i guess it's fine), that's why a lot of people disliked this movie compared to the second one.

Stella, Arash Noble Phantasm has 2 form in the phone game is a extremely powerful strike that does a lot of damage, but here it uses his other side of his legend, Stella is a noble Phantasm that was used to "end a war and the suffering" and in this movie it is used that way, there is no big explosion, epic music or even a rapid movement of the shot, the shot is calm, peaceful and slow, the music is an aria of happiness and to show "god" of this deed, because war and suffering is ending and after the damage is gone the sky opens up to be shown to us of it's beauty, Arash is gone as the power to move the stars is too much for a human being and yet he was able to do it. Arash Kamângir is a living legend of someone that give up his life to end the suffering and is loved by a lot of people, his name is one of the most popular in his regions because of that.

19:20 That sword isn't"The Excalibur" its Sword of Revolving Victory Excalibur Galatine. The sister sword to Excalibur, both given by the Lady of Lake. Their attacks are equal and opposite, with Excalibur being an intense beam and Galatine being a wide round slash. Galatine is overshadowed by Excalibur in legends, and not much is said about it. The stories about Galatine were mostly crushed by the popularity of Excalibur, and few remain known today. From the few stories that remain, all we know is that the sword would manifest the greatest amount of power at noon (like Gawain himself), and that the blade was so well made it never got nicked or dulled.

28:26 that is sphinx, a mythological creature (a phantasmal) from ancient Egyptian myths. Ozymandias has ability to summon these. And fun fact, if ozymandias is provided with enough mana, he can summon overwhelming amount of sphinxes with different abilities which will become a huge problem to go against 😅

(In real life the story is based on) He travelled the silk road in search of the original Buddhist scriptures, it resulted in Xuanzang heading to India from Central Asia, before bringing back to China from there sutras amounting up to 657 items and becoming the founder of the Chinese Faxiang Buddhist sect.

About the pure soul stuff. The mom is pure, the kid wasn't. But they don't give a flying F if you do die even if you are a pure soul. Also the mom wasn't supposed to be killed, she just shielded her son. They are not aiming to save "everyone", so losses will be tolerable to the Lion King. Edit: about the knights suddenly being "loyal" to Artoria, remember they lived and died with regrets and was given another chance as Servants in this Singularity. That is why they can do a 180.

so we have King Arthur: The Once and Future King of Britain most famous for pull Caliburn and receiving Excalibur from The Lady of The Lake and killing Mordred with Rhongomyniad, Sir Gawain: Knight of The Sun most famous from Gawain and The Green Knight story, Sir Lancelot: The Knight of The Lake most famous for his love affair with Queen Guinevere and Kill Agravain, and Gawain's brothers, Sir Mordred: Knight of Treachery most famous for being Morgan or Marana's son (daughter) and in some other telling Arther's baster son (daughter) starting a rebellion against King Arthur, stealing one of Arthur's swords Clarent: The Sword of The King , and killing King Arhtur at The Battle of Camlann, Sir Agavain most favous for being the uncle of Arthur and Morgan or Marana and helping Morgan take down Arthur from the inside, Sir Tristan The Knight of Lamentation famous for his sad love life, and Sir Bedivere: The Knight of Loyalty most famous for being one of the founding members of The Knights of The Round Table and returning Excalibur to The Lady of The Lack after being told by a dying Arther three times, I can tell you more about these Knights and other members if you want
