THIS EPISODE IS BRINGING ALL THE FEELS! - HELLUVA BOSS - WESTERN ENERGY // S2: Episode 4 

"He can get HURT?" That really made my heart sink, Blitzø never even once considered how Stolas might feel throughout their relationship, he felt like "he’s an immortal prince, he’ll get over it". But it took Stolas to genuinely get physically hurt for Blitzø to realize that he isn’t unbreakable, even if he never saw how much he suffered mentally, he is finally starting to realize that he’s in pain.

One detail that I like that I haven’t seen others comment on- Blitzø’s ringtone for Stolas. In season 1 it was screaming. But by this episode he’d changed it to bird chirping. Something to think about.

Its clear that Andrelophus is the long-term thinker in that family while Stella is just an immature brat who just wants instant gratification.

you can read up on the texts between Blitz and Stolas. it covers a lot since the night at ozzys. as always. Stolas writes a lot, and Blitz only replies in one or two mispelled words.

There is some kind of genius by having the hospitals and medical industry being in the “Sloth” Ring.

Fun facts: Stryker seems to be a halfbreed himself, seeing as he has factions akin to the shark inhabitants of Greed (like the goons that work for Moxxie's Father); funny, considering his... supremacist tendencies. Second, the weapons are manufactured by Carmila Carmine, from Hazbin Hotel. That's why when Moxxie found the sniper rifle he was so impressed, as angelic weapons are exceedingly rare and VERY expensive.

Heres a fun fact. The new Voice Actor for Striker, Edward Bosco, is also the VA for Alastor in the Pilot of Hazbin Hotel. EDIT: heres some more fun facts, the guy who did the last part of Striker's theme song is voiced by Blake Roman (Angel Dust's VA in the Prime Series). The guy who voiced the Doctor for Loona's Shot is Joel Perez (Valentino's VA). And finally the person who voiced the Mom at the hospital was Vivziepop 😂 EDIT 2: ok correction the one who sang the final Verse in Striker's Theme was actually Joel and not Blake, BUT blake was still one of the singers. Thanks for the corrections in the replies.

The Hellborn try their best to create law and order. They don’t view their world as a punishment, they just happen to live there.

People often laugh at or deride Blitzø's brevity in his texts and the garbled spelling, but consider: _he's likely _*_illiterate._* Spending his entire childhood performing in his father's circus wouldn't have allowed much time to practice writing or learning how to read, so even trying to sound out 'Get better soon' must've been a challenge for him. He may even struggle to understand Stolas's texts to him, considering the owl's verbosity and vocabulary, which can't be helping their communication... but he's still _trying._ That in itself shows how much Blitzø cares, honestly. He's not the type to go out of his way for people who aren't important to him, yet he willingly did something uncomfortable and difficult (and likely embarrassing) to try and express his concern -- and even though he had more to say, he may not have known _how_ to say it through text, and felt too guilty about what happened that day to risk making things worse by _trying._

The petals falling can be seen as a "He loves me, he loves me not" kind of way and we have yet to see where their relationship goes but the next episode is most likely going to make us cry

You should read what was on Stolas phone both at the start and end of the episode. The starting text pertains to the future episodes well the ending texts are about Blitz and Stolas's relationship through the past couple episodes.

14:39 “Where did you get a rope like this?”. Well, it was told in both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss s1e5 that the only one who sells angelic weapons and tools is Carmilla, so yeah, GUESS where can you get a rope like that 😄

14:38 Stella most likely provided him angelic weapons to do the job with, since she's one of the noble class in Hell, and the Goetia were originally fallen angels (or something). If not, he might have other ways. The rifle he tried to use in episode 5 was verified by Moxxie as one created by Carmilla Carmine, so he may get some of his angelic weapons from some kind of black market in the Pride Ring? My own opinion, but it might also be possible some were payments for assassination jobs (how the client got them is a different matter depending on who they are).

When you get to the episode “oops” turn on the subtitles. They’re hilarious 😂

The best moment to me was Nurse: Oh I can't read either. John: I can't either. :D Genuinely never seen anyone go for that joke, I respect it. lmao

13:12 I think the reason that Stella doesn't really care about this is because she doesn't *want* duties. She wants to be rich and party. Without Stolas, she'd still be rich. 19:27 also if you go back and read the texts, you can see that Stolas has been cancelling the...spicy part of the deal in favour of what Blitz wants and trying to talk to Blitz, but Blitz just responds with not even a sentence.

I know that casting Norman Reedus as Striker had a lot of star power, but I think that Edward Bosco is the stronger voice actor of the two -- he's able to capture a lot of subtle nuances in that growly, gravelly drawl, little hints of glee or rage that gleam through the menace like the filigree on his revolvers. (Plus, the dude's _hilarious_ when he gets the chance to be -- anybody who follows his TTRPG group The Unexpectables knows that for a fact by now.)

Oh my god I get you about parent in the hospital. My dad has had a few trips to the hospital these past few months. First he had a gallbladder issue that they had to clear up, then his heart medication combo caused a hole to form in his intestines so he thought his gallbladder was acting up again. Nope, he's just y'know.. internally bleeding because no doctor cared to tell him not to take those two medications together. So he got medicine to fix the internal issue. Apparently it "promotes internal healing" or something... either way it didn't work and he was back again in the following few days. That time I saw the blood and freaked out. Then they cauterized it... finally. Like they should've the first fucking time. I think they just want more and more money so if they don't completely fix it, they can get more out of us/insurance. (Same thing happened when I got a filling at the dentist, they said I needed one but that they had to drill the hole so the filling would fit better. Lo and behold, it fell out a week later, and when I went back for a FREE re-filling, they said I didn't need one after all!) Anyway, even after all that, my dad had been in the hospital for 30 days straight and not allowed to walk around or eat properly so when he got home he wanted to exercise a bit, and ended up over exerting himself and hurting his achilles heel/tendon whatever. So he was in a boot and on crutches for a while. Only now is he doing better. But UGH one thing can just lead to another. BUT I hope your mom feels better. A spiral fracture sounds fucking awful. I've never broken a bone, so I can only imagine how painful it is. I hope she has better doctors than my dad did, and that she has some beast medication for pain.

Wishing your Mom a quick recovery!! Have to say, big fun fact, The voice actor replacement for Striker is none of then Hazbin Hotel's Alastor from the Pilot. He does do a phenomenal job! Love Norman Reedus but scheduling conflicts happen. Can't not love Edward Bosco. Also another Hazbin Hotel Cameo: The tiny imp singing the end of the "He's Striker" song and riffing is none other then Joel Perez Valentino, Angel's pimp. Another singer was Blake Roman, aka Angel Dust. Stolas was left on read, so we were left with the end of the episode to feel the same. This episode had some heavy parts, especially with Blitz realizing Stolas can in fact get hurt, and isn't as invulnerable/immortal as he thought. The rope Striker used is Blessed rope, basically rope made of angelic stuff, like the weapons use din Hazbin Hotel to kill the angels. He had a Blessed Rope to stop Stolas from using his powers. And a Blessed knife/guns to cause real injury to him. The only weapons that can actually injure Stolas, who is demon royalty, is the same that can only harm angels. Where he got them we don't know, some speculate Stella, others suspect he has other means. Point is he is a lot more dangerous then people think.

I was a cutter for years, and needed stiches several times. Like, I bled like crazy, and while it was unpleasant, nothing compared to how terrifying needles were. Needles for vaccines or bloodwork made me a wreck just thinking about them. I felt a primal fear in me that I have never felt anywhere else, ever. I guess that's what phobias do to you.

DUDE! You turned off the "closed caption" just a hair to early and missed Stella's bleeped out word in the beginning. Vivziepop & her crew are so good at this show that it's not just the little details in the animation, but also the their closed captions. When Stella cursed out Stolas with a bleep, the closed captions will show you she said "C U Next Tuesday". I dislike the word myself, but I do find it funny they snuck that in.
