Blitz really does care for Stolas. If you remember from Truth Seekers (S1, Ep. 6), you'll see that he does, but some of the things that appear in Blitz's hallucinations are when he goes to Stolas to escape the nightmarish versions of the other characters and be beside him for comfort, but then a chain comes and binds him to Stolas where Blitz has a scared look when looking at him, which to me seems like he's afraid of being attached to people. I think Blitz has intimacy anxiety. It's not normal for someone to go through the exes the way he did, still feel bad about it, but still be toxic, especially to Verosika. If he was straight toxic, he'd feel nothing for doing it, but yet Blitz shows pretty often that he does care. Blitz is scared of being alone, and he's afraid he'll be betrayed again, which is why I think he has his bitter rivalry with Fizzarolli.

Blitzo's dad is called, and I kid you not, Cash Buckzo. Never has a name been so matching of one's personality 3:41 Millie's parents run a ranch, they aren't circus folk 4:01 Yeah, cause that's his name 6:06 To distance himself form his past. It's not explicitly told. 13:41 That's Octavia, not Stella. 19:51 So, do you remember back in the Truth Seekers episode when Stolas shows up, the melody that was playing in the background? It was this exact melody, they turned it into a full on song and it's spectacular. 20:34 This is important. Asmodean Crystals are what the Succubi and Incubi use to get to the mortal world, supposedly made from lust energy. The fact that Stolas is looking at this exact page can only mean one thing and one thing only: He plans on breaking up with Blitzo and give him the crystals so he can continue to do his job.

Never heard of this theory about asmodean crystals before. It’s interesting, but I believe the asmodean crystals were the ones that we can see in the flashback when they stole everything in the palace. In last episode when Frizz shows up and introduce Ozzie, Stolas looks really concerned and says “did he said Asmodeus?” because he might want his crystals back. And it’s showed in that episode because just like Asmodeus said, Blitzø brings problems to Stolas, because he’d stoled them. While thinking of it, if my theory is accurate then Cash might have some which would likely be a problem and/or there’s a black market of Asmodeus Crystals because Cash made some cash out of it by selling them (sorry I had to), which would be an another reason of why Stolas don’t wanna confront Asmodeus. I think it might be the two of us who are right but I don’t know, I’m not sure that Stolas, with his personality, would do this, because that would mean that he’d stolen them, if not why would he’d be afraid of him if he was able to ask him for it? And I can’t believe he would do it, even more when he must have been severely punished for helping Blitzø stoling them back then. And I don’t think he would be able to break up with him when he’s so in love with him that he’s the only one (with his daughter) that he cares for. Even more when they do have something btw them and that he wasn’t able to break up with Stella for 17 years when he didn’t loved her or even when he hated her (even if he was affraid of Stella’s brother and judgement that’s still the case).

@@smaerdforellikeht7296 I really like this theory you made, it’s very well formed, you compiled a lot of evidence for this. Like, it’s really good. Unfortunately, the original comment is correct though, people on Twitter translated the runic language in the book and it talked about the crystals being used by succubi/incubi to travel to the living world. I do wonder if they have a secondary purpose though, or perhaps side effects? Maybe by using a crystal, Blitzø will have his emotions stimulated, and him and Stolas will make up? That’s my hope at least, Stolas seems to already have this path in mind, to give Blitzø a crystal. It’s sad, I really want them to be together.

@@epicblackbelt3753 Just to add my two cents in; before the song begins, Stolas flips through pictures on his phone, and we can clearly see that when Blitzo is in a photo, he isn't very invested in it or in Stolas. I suspect Stolas has become increasingly aware that his relationship with Blitzo is still more-or-less one-sided on his part, and that Blitzo doesn't reciprocate the feeling Stolas has for him (since Blitzo won't let himself feel those emotions for another, and Stolas is pretty bad at conveying them to begin with). With how quickly Stolas was able to find that page, it's likely he's been looking into those crystals for some amount of time. I think he's been working himself towards this sort of middle-ground ending: Blitzo approached Stolas at first for the Grimoire, and the continued usage of the Grimoire is the only reason he sees Stolas at all. Stolas cares enough about Blitzo, and has finally matured enough in those feelings, that he would rather provide Blitzo an alternative method of travel to the human world and remove himself from Blitzo's life than force Blitzo to accept a relationship he doesn't want as a means to acquire access to the human world. Likely, the events of S1:E7 pushed Stolas further in that direction. In that sense, Stella's departure from the balcony could be seen as symbolic of everything meaningful in Stolas's life disappearing, leaving only the vestiges of duty and responsibility.

i was more of the mind that Stolas would give Blitz the crystals so that he wouldn't have to rely on Stolas's grimour for transport, and it would be more of a test to see weather or not Blitz actually liked Stolas or was just using him for access to the mortal world it's also theorized that this is why Blitz was with Verosica before he met stolas again in this episode's timeline, since, he already had a human killing business, and was presumably using her crystal to get to the mortal world. It also probably explain his and her timeline as well, since he was coming for the book at this time, so it gives us a basic outline of when in general he broke up with Verosica and couldn't use her crystal anymore

@@ElderonAnalas Though we really don't know WHEN Blitzo started his killing biz. He could have started it after breaking up with Verosika or while he was dating her, it's really not clear. We also don't yet know HOW the Asmodean crystals work, we don't know how they are made, given or if they are one use only or not so I don't think we can clearly define a timeline just yet

Something to note is that Fizz has hard horns. In episode 7 we see his jester hat flopping from side to side meaning that not only did he lose his arm and legs but it seems he lost his horns too.

They never liked each other. Stolas at least tried to make things comfortable for the both of them but she refused to be happy or appreciate that effort, Octavia thinks that stolas cheating was what ruined her family but what she didn’t know was that they were never really a family to begin with. They (or at least stolas) hid how much they dislike each other to give her a chance at a normal childhood free from the worries and stress of witnessing her parents arguing all the time, but after she found out about him sleeping with blitzo they stopped caring about hiding their dislike for each other from her (she’s already 17 at this point so who cares right?) but because all her mom screams about is how he cheated on her with an imp Octavia doesn’t have the full picture and most likely blames her dad more than her mom. Unlike Stella, stolas is actually trying to keep his connection to his daughter form crumbling ( hence the loo loo land episode) and even though it didn’t go exactly how he thought it would it did help him establish a new connection with her with less misunderstandings. But dew to him not being able to put it into words at that moment she still doesn’t know the full story. Maybe she’ll find out in the episode where she steals the book to “see the stars”

A couple things. First and most importantly, I've watched a lot of people react to this series but you're the only one I've subscribed to. I adore your energy and excitement and it feels like sharing a moment with you when you react to this given this is my favorite series. Second, based on the fact that this song Stolas just sang has played in his presence a LOT when he is in a scene and what we now know the lyrics are, I'm with the impression that the overall character embodiment of our feathery baby is a mixture of two impressions. "A bird in a cage" and "No matter the how gilded the cage, it is still a prison. " More or less, Stolas, a bird trapped in a decorated cage. I'm with the belief we're going to get a bad girl moment from him where he just pops tf off and gets everyone's attention in the process of defying his own family and duty. I'm with the belief Stolas's story arc is about him breaking free, and his next obstacle is Andrealphus now that he's gotten rid of Stella. P.S. The next episode is coming this month! I can't wait!

in s1 ep7 on blitz's phone at the end you can see an image of blitz smiling in a selfie while Stolas is sleeping while in this episode on Stolas's phone all the pictures they have together blitz isn't smiling and seem disinterested, I personally think this is showing how blitz does love Stolas but doesn't know how to tell him. edit: also another little thing is that stolas sees their relationship as equals where as blitz thinks stolas is so above him as in s1 ep6 in blitz hallucinations you can see that when he feel scared and pressured his escape was stolas but when he went to stolas he was sitting on a golden throne while he had shackles, but stolas sees them as equals as most of the time when stolas says bye or hi to blitz he will often bow down even though he has been taught not to, e.g you can see him bow to blitz at the end of s1 ep7.

Funny THing is, you can see in the book stolas is opening, that Succubi can open Portals to the living world and thats the reason why blitz was with V. after the breakup he remembers stolas and tried to steal the book, but stolas after all was searching for a way to give blitz freedom from their deal, in the book you can see a gem with the same power blitz wants. so stolas maybe was short before giving blitz such a gem.

A theory of those who have read deamonology is a very sad sad truth is going to come. Stolaz job is prophecy, so he already is fully aware of what is going to happen. Hence why he is so depressed, apart from his abusive wife, (ex wife now though YEEAAAAAH BOiiiiiiii). Regardless, a lot of people beleive that Stolaz knows how he even will die, which gives the lullaby he sang for Octavia in Season 1 episode 2 a whole new meaning. So he knows what is going to happen, just not how.

Are you planning on doing a reaction video for the Hazbin Hotel trailer? It takes place in the same world, but was picked up by A24 and will, at some point, be an Actual Real Big Show, so the characters are all different, but it has a very similar humor and emotional sensibility, and it expands A LOT on the world they're in. (Basically - Helluva Boss is Sword & Sorcery, Hazbin Hotel is like High Fantasy; it's mainly about the Big Shots in this world more than the Little People)

Stolas's dad is actually a great dad for how big a role he has to play in hell. He is the head of the Royal family and has probably tons of kids. And it's not like he ignored his son or judged him for liking Blitzo actually encouraged it and made them meet. So to me He is a great at dadding

Something to notice is that the book he took off the shelf said Asmodeus which is that demon from Ozzy’s and is the embodiment of Lust. Then he flips to a page called Asmodean Crystals, if it was foreshadow then it could be possible that those crystals are like a love potion or something that he might use on Blitz.

She might be gone but I know she’ll be back especially in the later season two episode she likes tormenting him antagonizing him and even though he cheated with a lower class she never liked them or love them at all I don’t see why she’s so abusive but people like her need someone to abuse so she goes to her husband because he’s sensitive yet who knows the type of abuse she does to her daughter☹️
