Bruuuuh I felt so bad for Harvey this whole time. The man wanted the best for everyone. Even when injected with the Agent his words were still for the best of everyone Not only did we (Cory) not save him, we told him to forget the girl he loved and then he caught us sleeping with her when he just wanted to talk to her. Edit: rewatching this series got my feelings more solidified. Harvey was doing some dirty business with Falcone, and yes, while that isn't justified, it seems that he doesn't fully agree with it, but he knows the power people like Falcone have over the city. Selena admits at the bar that she doesn't care about Harvey and is playing with him, while he seems to actually care for her. She was fully capable of defending herself at the speech attack, but Cory saved her instead of Harvey, who has probably next to none self defense skills. I recently watched a Film Theory episode where Mat brought up the idea of a villain helping Bruce realize that BRUCE WAYNE with all his money, privilege and influence, could do a bigger chance to Gotham than Batman swinging his fists at criminals. I speculate Harvey seems to realize that, and he doesn't even KNOW that Bruce is Batman. Cory seemed to realize he was being a scum bag at the hospital scene, yet he still got with Selena. Big Ol' Simp moment. Also As Cory himself said, it's just a game. He's my favorite Ytber and I obviously don't respect him any less because of this lol. And some of this is theorizing, not fact. Just food for thought. The lesson I guess is Don't be such a Simp that you hurt the good people around you, who actually CARE about you, NO ONE's 🅱ussy is worth doing that.
