I currently have the 72v 45ah version of this scooter but the torque on is insane especially when it is on dual drive mode and turbo. I reached a top speed of 85miles once on it and that was the scariest thing I have ever done lol But one really important thing is that you should replace/change those 3 screws around the folding area because they are not strong enough at all.
No shot. You can't get to 85 miles per hour. Maybe you meant 85 kmh, which is 52 mph. This scooter just can't get up to that speed. It has a top speed posted on the website as 55 mph btw.
So... There is a 72v version of this scooter it is probably the version we all would like to try.... I am not super surprised that it is a bit lackluster because it is 60v. Hopefully somebody will do a review on the 72v soon. Thanks fellas for your effort in making this video for us 🙂
They are actually 12.4inch tires when inflated not 13 . They don't accelerate to full speed as fast because the tires are taller ! You can put 90/65-6.5, 110/55 -6.5 or 14x 5 6.5 off road if you can squeeze them on! I am making the ultimate electric scooter soon . This summer? But man that is a amazing scooter
That is the Demon Flexforce X2 D3O Men's Top. Comes with elbow, back, shoulder, chest, forearm, and rib protection. You can use coupon code: gotscooter to save 15%.
You’re gonna laugh, but you know why it doesn’t. Peel out because when you get out of the box it’s 80% because when I got my y10 they limit it right off the get-go to 80% you forgot to go in the into the p state and raise it from 80 to 100 and then you’ll get one hell of a difference
The front headlights look ridiculous. They remind me of the griswalds trip to WallyWorld on the "Vacation" movie. Really, come on. When is enough enough? How about providing bright lighting on all of them (signals, headlights etc.) before making them look like Disney on parade? Seriously, do you know how distracting all that is when you put on a turn signal? It just gets lost in all that unecessary-battery draining light show.
My Friend Mike is trying to buy the X7 or an Y10 or Y11. We can't seem to find where to buy all of them. The Y10 is Available on Amazon. but also need some other sources. Any Luck?
I've seen how that level of e-scooter is being used in NYC. I don't like saying this but they need to go away or the riders need to be legally accountable and insured.
@@kmg501 in NYC they use electric mopeds for delivery usage, they're called "scooters" because they look like a vespa, she was not killed by a normal stem based e scooter
Los Angeles address No phone number. Website has foreign phone number No address. Website says 24/7 customer service with no response time No time zone. Another ripoff.
Friends, it's too bad you didn't make a direct comparison with 11 inch scooters because the bigger wheels make a big difference when riding that you didn't mention. They make the ride much safer and more comfortable, because the wheels no longer fall into smaller holes in the asphalt, but go through them smoothly. This is a huge difference in favor of 13inch scooters, they are more comfortable and safer. I own both scooters and riding a 13inch is simply more fun. I no longer have to watch out for the smallest bumps in the road, but ride through them comfortably. For me, this is the most important feature of 13inch scooters, enjoy the ride without having to constantly look out for bumps ....
For those wondering it's 2800, 45ah battery. 80mile range. I guess it's worth the price, long as u can use it in the rain. I'd have to mod a bicycle trailer to haul work stuff...or a doggy
Very weird design for where the stem meets the frame. Looks very weak. This scooter is extremely similar to the flj k6 and xplor odyssey but the handlebar mount on the odyssey/k6 is TWO mountainbike stems. So a MTB is already extremely strong and the k6 doubles it.. EXTREMELY strong design.. idk why theyd make this one so weak right there. thats a VITAL area. It has to be strong and not move at all if youre gonna have a strong stable grip.
There should be a tension screw right underneath to tighten that latch. I have the same latch lever on my scooter. It rectified that issue. Love the larger tires less sguirrley at higher speeds. Nice review.👍
Love the fact how e-scooters can represent your personality nowadays. For me its not convenient bcs it looks more like a Titanic with wheels. Couple more weeks and I'll get the Bronco xtreme 11. Much love from Finland guys - always so inspirational. 👍👋
Great video guys. Closing dialogue of "wear your safety gear", then on the speed run, where you might need it the most, no gloves! Ooops, a wee slip-up there for sure.
The lower torque feel is due to the larger wheels. The smaller the wheel the larger the acceleration. So 10 and 11 inch scooters accelerate off the mark quicker. But the advantage is in the stability and control.
Glad you said torque "feel", because putting a larger tire on a motor does NOT decrease the torque. It does reduce the force of the tire pushing on the pavement, and therefore less acceleration - in trade for higher speed. All these guys saying a motor has less/more torque over another are really talking about differences in acceleration. A motor will develop a certain amount of torque based upon the current and voltage flowing through it. The size of the tire that is put on it is absolutely irrelevant.
this just seems like bad motor pairing, bigger wheels trade acceleration for speed, but you can get compensate this by using a motor with higher turn # or lower kv, effectively trading back your 'torque' for lower top speed
@@v000000000000v Ok i have all scooters..10 inch, 11 inch and 13 inch. Larger scooter weighs double the weight of the 10 inch unit. 11 inch accelerates a little better but do you need this? All are quick but the difference is in the ride quality. The 13 inch feels like a limo in comparison. You hardly feel any bumps at all. Grass and off road are fun. Not on the others scooters though. The extra weight, of course, may help here. For me 13 inch wins hands down.
@@maxward9953 yeah I have an e dirt bike too and that has way better ride quality than any scooter, but what I was saying was that wheel size should *not* matter in terms of accleration, if they pair the correct motor with the wheel size, it's the same concept as gearing, if you have a bigger wheel you can 'gear down' and achieve higher torque with lower top speed using a higher winding motor
Hey Jimmy, I am 5 '11 and I weight 350 pounds, I was wondering if you'd consider a specific model to me. I will MOSTLY use this as a commute option. I'd like to hear your opinion on that! Thanks so much in advance if you reply!
That 2nd locking mechanism is loose because the nut underneath is loose too.. i got mine fixed easily.. dont over tighten it or else its gonna be hard to lock it flat. I have Yume M11 Pro and its the same stuff
I don't need a super-fast scooter I just want a scooter that's faster than the average dog which is about 35 miles an hour I need a scooter that can go up to 40 miles an hour but it has to have that instant torque to get away from a dog. I also would like a scooter that have a range more than 30 miles.
Basically it's a old style cadallic with bling and will eventually get to speed then lol complete with bodywork flaws! Love the review and the "in use look" of the Yume.. it's definately not weathered well compared to other scooters you put through the mill.. quite a few bits of metalwork looks soft and thin to cut corners.. and i'm sure i heard at timestamp 8mins 30... those rotors tinging... Yeah.. looks nice and i think that was the sole appeal of Yume..... but i think i will stay clear and get something a bit better built and supported.
Great review, I purchased the Realmax version, I knew I should of just spent a little extra and got the 72v. They assured me that I wouldn't really notice the difference between the 60v and 72v, plus I would of had to wait an extra week but I'm too impatient, mine comes next week Saturday 😁
@@bigbrad9976 Hey I've been meaning to give you a shout about your scooter. 70 days noooooo😲 Mine didn't come, I contacted them and they said it's in Poland right now awaiting clearance, then it will come to the UK. I'll apparently have it end of June or beginning of July 😤 To make things worse here in the UK they keep pushing the dates back on making the scooters legal. Now the police are just going round looking for people on scooters so they can fine them and take the scooter😡
@@Phoenix3astman damn bro I been checking that shit out basically taking away people's rights that country is definitely racist against blacks glad I'm not there be safe out there bro
Tbh it's just anyone seen with scooter gets in trouble now. Look at this, the poor man probably had no idea he was being chased and look how they handled him. https ://instagram.com/p/CQgSaeWoiCb/?
I just discovered your channel after buying a Zero 10x. I heard you mention Colorado a few times? Where do you ride for your videos? It looks like you found some cool spots! I'm in Denver
Hey Jimmy, if you have never made a video on controller swapped (open sourced FM onewheels) or stuff like the float or fun wheel, I've got a pint with a open source controller that I could show a bit about if you made a video to help get the word that this is possible out by making a video. Big fan of the channel!
There not thing I don’t understand I have an emove cruiser and it last 60 miles and it’s a 30.5 ah battery how come this scooter has the same range but almost double the battery a 50ah. I really need someone to shed light on this. I just don’t understand it has more cells and 20ah of additional battery so why does it only last 60 miles. It should At least get 80-90.
You could totally get 80-90 miles if you drove this scooter at 15 mph. This scooter is much heavier and has a lot more power. It also consumes more power having larger wheels. However, the EMOVE Cruiser has really mastered efficient motors.
The Flaws Are not Flaws at all! There Freight Damage & You Guys can't even Fix a little bent alloy or a Bolt on a Light Comon? Didnt know about a Riser uhm plain eye could see this. Thats like saying oh I didnt get a manual to adjusting my Bmx handlebars lol...Very petty. And this Escooter is actually a FLJ scooter from China. (Massive Point U Missed). The Kaabo etc is $5000Aud this Scooter is $3k New Big Difference.
I do not understand why you did not cover the max distance or the hill/grade climbing capabilities of the scooter? Both of those are always very very important factors in purchasing a scooter. People want to know what is the max distance that they can get out of a scooter in its sport or highest performance mode while traveling at higher speeds in the scooter's spectrum!!! I love your vids and just everything about your RU-vid service but let's not forget about covering these very important topics about scooters. If you mentioned the retail price I didn't catch that either.
*ANY E-SCOOTER MUST BE FULLY ADJUSTABLE, AS PEOPLE WILL RIDE THEM AT GREAT DISTANCES.* *IT'S IMPORTANT THAT THE DECK IS MADE TO BE ADJUSTABLE UP AND DOWN AND ADJUSTABLE MAIN BAR.* *THESE ARE JUST A FEW SUGGESTIONS.* *FINALLY, THE PACKAGING MUST BE PACK TO WITHSTAND PUNISHMENT--LEAST IT BECOMES DAMAGED!!* *VERY LITTLE WAS ADDRESSED WHEN TALKING ABOUT THE SCOOTER, LIKE THE TYPES OF BREAKS...COME ON GUYS, THIS MUST BE YOUR FIRST E-SCOOTERS? :-/*
Hey guys, I just got an off brand version of this with 72v 40ah and 14” off road tires. Basically an flj sk2. What’s the deal with charging them with both chargers? Will it overcharge if you leave them on too long? I haven’t had to charge it yet. Something to note, mine takes off like a jet with turbo/dual motor on...and the led deck has memory so if you turn it off or a certain color, then turn the scooter off with the key, it remains on the last setting. Appreciate your help!
you stand on every escooter lol 13 inch wheel not any good.it may even reduce top speed. why range is only 130km? still waiting 200km range. what will first dualtronultra v3? i hope LOL
I don't know I'd rather pay 35%more and have I'm my store ewry thing I need for my scooter then too wait parts than find good electrician, or if is somthing with motor . No not a chance . Are these scooter hub motors rated at 8000w efficient compared to brushless dc motors with planetary gears using chains to drive wheels? I'm trying to build one with chains and gears because I'm prioritizing torque. However, I'm calculating weight and these hub motors are much simpler and lighter. I feel like a 48v system at around 1500w dual wheel should get me up to 20mph without issues?
