I remember loving Blood Will Tell. So yeah, I hope Matt ends up playing it! PS: Blood Will Tell was the 3rd version of Dororo right? The manga being the original and the 1st anime being the 2nd. I also vaguely remember a live action movie coming out between the game and the latest anime.
It's kind of held together with band-aids and full of ugly empty fields, but I love that game -it feels like every 10 seconds it adds a new mechanic, and it's super focussed on slavishly churning through the manga's story arcs.
You said Jennifer Hale must be apart a impressive cast, and well, you're right, since it's 2011, your side characters are voiced Laura Bailey, Troy Baker and Nolan North, Streaggle is voiced by Cree Summer, and other characters aee voiced by Grey Griffin and Hynden Walch. Hienrich is voiced by Andre Sogliuzzo, you may know him as King Bum in Avatar.
This is the first time I've ever seen this game and, honestly, it's clear an effort was put into it. It's like God Hand and Kingdom of Amalur had a love-child that looks up to Bayonetta. It's unrefined and nothing about is all that deep, but that's fine. Thanks, Guy in the Comments.
Being able to just physically grab the target of an escort quest and haul them around with you is kind of appealing. Would be helpful for games where the AI just likes to run into hordes of enemies or is unable to path find.
I actually beat the whole game. Quick time events are horrible in this game. Especially since every boss fight has it once you take their health to zero and if you failed once you have to fight the whole boss again.
OMG...the final boss. If you miss the QTE you have to fight it all over again until you memorize the pattern and get it right. I nearly burned my PS3 after beating this game, but it somehow grew on me!
@@ShiningT1g3R That boss drove me insane on hard, you beat the entire thing and you didn't react right for a split second and then bam, back at the start. I had to right them down on paper and learn them like a cheat code to get through that fight :P
You were thinking of "Never Dead" on the ps3, The controls threw off a lot of people. Where the immortal guy collects his own limbs or waits for them to grow back.
If you want to play a good game from the same dev's, then check out Folklore for the PS3. It's one of the few games to actually make good use of motion controls.
Thanks for playing this game. At the beginning the game is pleasant but as you progress it becomes more difficult, the camera does not help and the QTE become very fast punishing you with doing the whole battle again, if you are a masochist I advise you to continue, but it is one of those games that if you you manage to finish, you feel like there is no game that you can't beat
Before this game came out I saw a trailer that made it look pretty cool. Then one day my house was without internet for a few days. What better way to beat boredom than to go buy a new game? Oh look, Knight's Contract just came out. I can't look up any reviews or other information, but I do recall a pretty cool trailer. And I sure do love action games. I paid full price and proceeded to hate-play through it TWICE.
Oh man, I had this for PS3 back in the day, and finished it despite hating it. The combat was boring, escort missions always suck, and the QTEs during boss fights were made of ass. Yet I still wanna buy it again to replay it, haha.
Damn i have bad memories of this game, at the time they called the god of war killer, i received my paycheck when it came out, was high the day before and thought it was cool on the trailer, worse decision i made buying this thing
Always loved the "Fantasy characters reunited in a modern era endings" like Castlevania LoS, Dracula: Untold, and etc. Not actually sure what else did that. somebody tell me.
For years I thought this was the Witcher 2 because I saw it mentioned on Xplay and I think they compared it to that game. I literally never learned until TODAY!
More episodes please! There's a fiery-spike-skull chariot woman I remember being kind of cool but this feels like a game with increasing levels of jank just waiting to be uncovered.
...Holy crap- what the hell!? That's not just a scythe... that guy's literally using a Switch-Glaive from Nioh 2! Attacking from the low, mid, and high stance positions! Like, it's uncanny.
This guy looks like when you get someone in a D&D session who has never played before and they made their first character as detailed as they possibly could. And then after 5 minutes in, he dies and the new guy keeps begging to bring him back to life.
What if everyone that died in witch trials was actually a witch and they just accepted death knowing that it would mess with people the most in a long run.
Im getting a darksiders 1 vibe and it's kinda neat!! More of this would be noice! (Devils hunt too💁🏻♂️) also, the fast and furious crossroads too! More of that would be noice as well
The game you're talking about Matt is called never dead or die, one of those two. Its was published by Konami and the game sucks because of the controls.
Man i played through this Game and can`t remember anything but the Ending. And thats because the Ending was OUT there man. It was also clearly setting up a sequel which never happened obviously.
Wasn't there some shooter game that also had a discount Guts but with a big ass gun? Edit:I remember what it was,it was called Quantum Theory,i remember seeing ads for it in gaming magazines, but never heard anything about it.
I'd watch more of this, but I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to do it. I like some of the stuff this game is throwing at me, it feels like an watching an aesthetic more than a plot. This game is feeling first and fact second. Goes great with pot but seems like it might be a slough to play through, I wouldn't blame you for not finishing.
