@@Kmakmizzlei charged 40.99 for the medium size and 54.99 for the large (i used sales samurai calculator for pricing)… the print on the blanket was an animal print that i found was being searched for quite a bit
I love this idea I actually found a blanket in different stores same blanket but one store had more sells than the other one so I started doing some research and it was the mockup🙂🙂. It was a girl holding the blanket and I found the seller of this mockup I will start selling and I think the mockup does a lot of the job when it looks appealing
Have you ever wanted to sell blankets? have you considered making them customized? Customization is all the rage lately! New to print on demand? Register for my free beginner webinar on how to get started: webinars.cuonline.ca/
Very informative video. I think one needs some experience of using these tools to be able to do this and also probably a small team of people if you start getting a lot of sales. I was under the impression that the image and the name goes directly to the supplier and they would do the personalisation for an additional fee of course.
Hey Christina, I love you channel. You're definitely one of the best POD channels on RU-vid always dropping great tips with your videos. I wanted to ask, how do you save the pattern you created in Printify to use on your mock ups? Do you just download or screenshot the image they provide? Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately, you cant download the actual pattern. The front preview works for the canva mockup, but its best if you just recreate the design or pattern on canva.
I caught this about a month ago and have yet to see any sales. I've got one favourite but no sale yet. I will need to create more designs..wish me luck!❤
I did this for my wife for Christmas. I made her one that has her RU-vid channel name on it. And because no one literally has my name and it’s spelling I now have a blanket that is uniquely my own! Jowancka that’s me
hi . i watch your videos all the time. you explains everything in a very simple and professional way! may be you can help me I'm a bit discouraged, I was blocked for no apparent reason and now I've been informed that it's forever and without any explanation. What can be done, how can we understand what the problem is? Thank you
@@c.u.online hi Thank you for answering They sent me an email saying After considering your account doesn’t qualify for reinstatement Is there anything I can do? Thank you again!
I’m having a hard time adjusting a design to the three different sizes when my design is NOT a pattern. Are you able to do a step by step video? ☺️ 🙏please ❤
Hey, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos. turning into highly engaging.
I was read someplace that sometimes the size of the photo may come out pixelated or not a good quality on a large blanket. Do you have any help for that issue? Thank you for the video. I have been wanting to do blankets for a while now.
Love the video! just a quick question, When you are uploading the file on printify, is it fine if the file area size is smaller then the print area size 7825 x 9325 px for the blanket. I assume as long as it shows high resolution dpi in green then the print quality won't be blurry or anything? Thanks!
My mockups do no look like realistic yours where your designs is apart of the mockup. It is either floating in front of the picture or when hit Layers and I send it to the back, it's behind the picture and you cant see it at all. What am I doing wrong?. 10:50
COOl video. thank you. Question: my store is 2 months old mainly selling tshirts and sweatshirts with a few mugs. and I have sold one sale I have low traffic. Should I stay the course and focus on my niche designs to allow Etsy to understand the type of store i am or start selling desk mats and blankets and maybe telephone cases to add to my shop categories? BTW a future discussion on shop categories and how etsy ranks you is an over looked and confusing subject.
Look at your stats and see how your listings are doing. If you have low traffic, you might need to update your SEO, or mockups. Follow through the ones that are getting clicks or views. I'd also recommend asking someone you know to buy from your shop and leave a review, to add credibility. It will be a long journey of testing and research so I'd suggest focusing on your niches first. Once you have selling designs and niches, you can then try adding other related products to your shop.
Hi I cant seem to make a canva document bigger than 34 inches, it won't let me, how would I get around this for the larger blankets say 70 x 80 for example, 😊 thanks so much, your videos are just truly amazing! Xxx
but personalized stuff isnt "copying", im simply offering the same service+product they are. of course I will have a listing exactly how they are doing it then I will add some more ideas in there.
just finished watching this video and i already have a ton of ideas for these blankets. but since summer in almost here, do you think i should for them? like will these sell in summers
Thank you for this, so helpful. Is there a way to personalization because Printify automatically starts production and shipping once an order is placed?
Keep the skus blank on your etsy listing so that the order goes to printify's other orders tab. You can then import the custom product for the order. My personalized order video tutorial might help. :)
Great video, really informative! 😊 Quick question though - I'm still getting the hang of Printify, and I was wondering if it's okay to upload a file with a smaller area size than the print area size? The blanket I'm working on has a print area of 7825 x 9325 px. If my file area is slightly smaller, will it affect the print quality as long as the resolution is in the green and showing high dpi? Just want to ensure everything turns out crisp and clear. Thanks a bunch! 🙌🎨
If your file size AREA is smaller than the print area size on the blanket, then whatever area of the blanket that is not covered by the file size area, will show the plain blanket because there will be no printing on it. 😱
Hi I started an Etsy store yesterday when you sell a blanket what are steps mock and variants how much profit do you make on this do you pay shipping or customer on print on demand
If you watch the video, you will see that she runs the blanket listing costs through a Etsy profit estimator, and after all costs the Seller incurs (including shipping if the seller gives free shipping), the Estimator shows the potential profit both as dollars, and as percentage of the total sales price.
You can only download the front mockup, but not the actual pattern. It would work on the canva mockup, but its best if you just recreate the design or pattern on canva.
great video like all your. I don't understand how to create mockup. Please, colud you explain it again? I used a Canva mockup. Which jpeg do you refer to? Sorry for the banality of my question but I really hope that you answer me. Thank you very much for your valuable advice!
If you're using a canva mockup with the transparent product, you have to send the design file to the back of the mockup to that it shows up on the transparent space.
@@c.u.online Thanks Christina. My difficulty is looking for the mockup with the transparent blanket on Canva. How can I look for it on Canva? In addition, at minute 9,39 of the video you see the Canva template with the 4 blankets attached to the hook. How can I search on Canva? In Mockup app I didn’t find them. I entered several keywords but without success. Thanks for your patience ❤
So those are actually canva mockup files that are being sold on Etsy. You have to purchase the file from an etsy shop, upload it on canva and then you can make your own mockup, with your designs.
@@c.u.online Now it’s clear, thank you. I thought Canva had mockups for blankets. Thank you very much Christina. You were very kind and helpful. Thanks again for your precious videos. I wish you an ever greater success
Really good video! I get stuck on the part where I need to make the design in Canva to use on the mockup. Can I somehow import it from Printify? Thanks.
I wish we could just export the pattern from Printify, but unfortunately not :'( this wouldve made it so much easier. And thank you, glad you liked it!
Not at all! You will eventually get the hang of it and find it easier in the long run. Most buyers understand that custom orders take time to make, so you can pace yourself.
Hey one quick question pls reply- Do you think the printify plush toys will work on etsy? With a cute quote for girlfriends or boyfriend anything like that. Do you think it will work?
I'd do my research on this on Etsy if its selling. I've seen a few bestseller POD teddy bear toys on Etsy so that means there is a market for it. I would however think of other niches aside from couple themes to stand out from competition. Like a custom gender reveal teddy bear for example
try to make your mockup match as much as possible! use the same HTML color code as the blanket, maybe take a screenshot of your listing and bring it into canva to copy the spacing and for all your orders use the same spacing as the last
I feel this sooo much. Same with selling plastic cups like the tumblers etc. Plastic aka polyester is the worst. And there aren’t any suppliers who sell cotton blankets on Printify
and you can turn off offsite ads when youre just starting out, but id rather get a sale for free and lose some profit than no sales at all when youre just getting started
Well I don't understand Etsy, I opened an account post 2 items and they suspended me. Items were simple design tshirt I just made up no trademark no nothing. Just suspend my 2 item store. Congrats to you.
This is a common thing on Etsy right now due to bots flagging new stores. They sometimes reinstate shops after just a few days, or you can send them an appeal.
This is why capitalism doesn’t breed innovation. You see the same type of listings over and over with very minimal changes. I respect it, genuinely, like make that money however you need to. I wish I could do this successfully. It just really perfectly illustrates the problem with money equaling life.
You are very confused. Capitalism has nothing to do with a person or company's personal CHOICE of what products to create and sell. That is their own choice to foolishly copy a product verbatim. If they choose to be lazy, and just copy some other person's or company's designs with minimal changes, then they will discover that their sales will suffer, (if they make any at all), and their copycat shop and/or products will not be able to compete with an already established and popular shop selling those original products. In fact, Capitalism encourages and exemplifies innovation! 😊 That is because the free market itself will let a seller know right away that they must be creative, resourceful, and innovative, as copied product designs only have a very short life-span until the "next thing" comes along. Blankets have always been around, and so has just about everything else. It is up to the seller to come up with fresh designs or 🎉marketing to drive potential buyers to their shop. Also, what makes no sense is your comment about "the problem with money equaling life". What does that have to do with Capitalism, if anything? Many other non-Capitalist societies use money! Money is the simplest way to trade between products, services, etc., and to save or set-aside savings in a portable form, for another day. If not for "Money", then we are stuck trying to barter, and haggling each day over the value of exchange between labor, products and services! Even ancient societies and cultures, thousands of year old, used "money" as currency for trade. Whether it be precious metal coins, beads, etc., there was some form of agreed-upon currency used to enable making exchanges between people, simplified, easy and portable. If you are stuck bartering, how would you make change for a person who had a goat with them at the market, but wanted to buy a loaf of bread? You can only offer them what you have. Maybe you have a few chickens and eggs from a previous barter that day, but that is not what the person wants as change for their goat anyway. How would you pay people for services that are not products? Money is part of life. It is interwoven with daily living but only harmful to people that focus their world around it. But even then, it is their choice, and nobody's business to be the world's thought police.
