As someone who despises Le Monarque with every fiber of my being, I felt that intro monologue at a visceral level. Instant like. Edit: as per Mercules on the DCP Firing Range podcast, it looks like a Le Monarque nerf is coming. He said that the damage profile of the bow would change to that of a lightweight bow, and that the poison tick duration would be cut in half from 3 to 1.5 seconds. Honestly, these sound like very fair changes imo.

This isn’t actually Sir Hammerlock. It’s a character created by the voice actor, CritMagnet, named Reginald Cornwall Von Skyburner. He and his compatriot, Archibald Multitool VII (also voiced by CritMagnet), used to be the narrators for a now-discontinued series on this channel where they would write letters to each other describing an evil off-meta build and how to best hide them from the plebs.
Hang on there's another synergy that Cryosthesia has with a class and exotic. Assassin's Cowl on Solar Hunter... Heheheheheheh. I am evil. The synergy grants Cryosthesia a 10% damage boost and makes your weighted throwing knife an easy kill, and then you have invisibility and healing upon the melee kill. So further ease of use on the sidearm, freezing burst into a free throwing knife, for even more free Healing and invis.
If you can figure out a way to get grenade or powered melee kills with stasis, grab a Lunulata-4B with golden tricorn. At tricorn x2 it becomes a one-shot to the head from a lightweight bow.
That last build is going to get even stupider once Bungie gives us a solar bow that can roll Swashbuckler. Swap the Spine for the Arthritis Embrace, get the Unicorn for Radiant and Swash x5, and laugh as you can now sustain your oneshot bow.
The build was a funny meme at first, but my blood physically ran cold and I felt a sheer horror creep up my spine when he said "--- five of them." during the Cryosthesia build---
With what you said about thorn, I feel the same way about hawkmoon. I just can not use that gun to save my life, and it makes me sad because it's the coolest gun in the game, in my opinion 😪
Seeing that cryothesia clip from stream where you snipe the threadrunner after freezing them had me looking like an irl recreating of that pointing wojak.

crysothesia has been a regular feature in my pvp gameplay for the past several seasons, as soon as I got a snapshot swashbuckler mechabre I knew what had to be done...
You’re not the only one who has trouble with Thorn. It has a habit of poisoning targets despite not actually hitting them to my experience, it feels less consistent than almost every other hand cannon despite having more stability and target acquisition than most (I think among 140/150 HCs, only Hawkmoon, Sunshot with the catalyst, and Lumina beat it in one or more), and it’s sights blend into the scenery behind the target more than half the time. It’s not necessarily a bad weapon, but it’s buggy, its performance does not reflect its stats, and it has terrible sights regardless of the ornament. It needs a catalyst if it’s ever going to be used by anyone else besides Necrotic Warlocks.
V-wing is "slightly underperforming"? my brother in christ it has a 50% crit requirement, melts, and gives you ability regen and cracked stats for having bad teammates. Its literally perfect for modern crucible 😂 I love this channel though, if it's not stupid builds its ridiculous ways to rate things, spicy clips, and next level voice acting. TDT stay winning.
So this idea came to me more as a pve build (where it is insanely strong btw, I cannot recommend this general idea enough in high level pve content), but I've seen some success with it in pvp as well. The idea is to use Woven Mail with the elemental shield provided by Heir Apparent. Elementally shielded targets (from my experience and some testing), cannot be dealt precision damage in exchange for taking elemental weakness damage. What this means is the only opening in your Woven Mail armor is nullified as long as you're protected by an elemental shield, and the opening in your elemental shield is lessened by woven mails damage reduction. Using Abeyant Leap with a towering barricade, shackle grenades, threads of transmutation, generation, mind and warding you can gain significant uptime on woven mail by doing just about anything. Running 3 arc resistance mods to somewhat counter your elemental shields weakness is advised, and anything else you can think of to bump up your survivability and class ability uptime. Ideally using tower barricade will help you lock down heavy drops more often, but not always. I recommend having a long range strand weapon such as the Taraxippos or Rufus fury to both provide tangle-breaking synergy and a good weapon to help you offend people trying to snag the heavy ammo before you. Other close range dueling weapons like smgs, shotguns and fusions are good to run alongside this build, as you want to cover all ranges to maximize your effective heavy uptime. Lastly, theres nothing more off meta than a pvp build entirely reliant on heavy ammo, so your success with this is dependant on how good you are at locking down heavy ammo with you and (ideally) your teammates. Not being able to do so makes this build just ok

Because your titan looks beautiful and I wish to take notes in fashion so I may try to look fablous myself. As I wish to have my glaring RBG armour glow to blind my enemies before stuffing them into a pulp with my fist
I tried Hynra’s Verglas build in Crucible and it’s kinda fun…, I wish the crystals did more damage but you can guarantee wave frame kills and you can even use it defensively against the current swarm of close range meta.
You should make an episode that functions like a tournament but for private 3v3 super battles(each team uses the same subclass as their teammates), I'm curious to see how far some of the less meta subclasses like Behemoth may hold up
For cryosthesia, midhas reckoning with back up plan and successful warmup is a perfect pair. Get the freeze. Switch to fusion. Which will charge fast enough with back up plan to kill them while frozen. That procs successful warmup. So you can get a free second kill. It’s unbelievably cheesy
I actually have a CRYOSTHESIA 77K build -CRYOSTHESIA 77K (duh) -A Grenade Launcher (optional with Disruption Break) I use the Truthteller -Strand Hunter with the only two available Aspects at the moment -Thread of Ascent, Generation, Continuity and Wisdom Optional: -100 Mobility -Marksman Dodge -Preferably I use Grapple but Shackle Nade could be amazing Armor Exotic is StompEE-5 for me but Dragon Shadow could be pretty good too Gameplay: Grenade launcher swap combo with CRYOSTHESIA 77K till you get LN2 Burst, then you have three options, suspend the enemies and kill with gl or Cryo, Freeze enemy and kill with Cryo or gl or continue Grenade launcher swap with Cryo if you have bad aim
Always enjoy the vids! Something I find about sidearm builds (Aside from Forerunner) though is that their effectiveness drops off massively when playing on Mouse and keyboard. Having just recently started playing both inputs, Sidearms are illegally broken on controller. I have never felt anything as sticky. Fun builds!
I like the thorn build but I would rather run the foetracers instead for the two Tap on all resilience guardians, and I run it with a harmony inquisitor for the extra damage to get my poison bullets faster by hitting the body and quick swapping to thorn for cleanup then going on a two tap poison spree
@@reynauldwhistles2338 it does, it buffs damage on low health marked targets and Thorn with the perk just barely gets it into that range and foetracers damage buff with the remaining poison damage cleans it up
Honestly TDT, I agree with you in saying that Thorn never agrees with you I don't think it agrees with me despite how much love I had for the gun when I finally got it after not getting it in D1😅😅 I think it might be the bloom/recoil pattern (which you mentioned) that's throwing our aim off😅 Oh well Guess if you love a weapon enough You'll learn it eventually 😅
I love cryo and devils ruin specially since I'm a shade lock. Two of the weapons in my rotation that make me feel like I do not need a special weapon since I suck with them.
foe tracer + thorn +INC grenade + ember of ashes i believe it was and radiant leap. watch everything and everyone slowly be rent unto painful suffering as either their body withers up, or their nerves are burnt livid. i would recommend either light weight or proxy knives as an emergency clean up tool and go for the body. no weighted knives though.
As a monarque main, Im happy to know I cause so many PvP players physical and emotional pain. I don’t like pvp, but when I have to play it, it’s monarque time.
Wish-ender with chromatic fire 1 to 2 reload mods with either a firepower mod or heavy handed 1 to 2 kinetic targeting mods with a kinetic siphon mid with 3 charged up mods 3 surge mods and 3 time dialtion mods and works obviously with every subclass but really good with strand and its shackle grenade so can switch things to your liking if wanting to spec for discipline i tend to go resilience and discipline
My trigger is witherhoard, the exotic I will NEVER BUY Also you prefer shade binders, I prefer the cha cha slide titan however that would be a monsterous pve build since they nerges my favorite warlock exotic, mantle of battle harmony.

I call it "Farm Your Friends for Franks Red Hotsauce" and will promise you an Acrobat Dodge at all times whenever you want it. Exotic: Aeon Gauntlets on Sect of Vigor and Vex Mytho (If you don't have Vex Mytho... any solar primary that you enjoy using will also work.) Class: Solar Hunter Class abilities/aspects/fragments: Acrobat Dodge / Weighted Knife / Healing Grenade - - - On your Mark / Knock 'em Down - - - Benevolence / Tempering / Solace / Mercy / Char REQUIRED MODS: Radiant light / Powerful Friends / Solar Weapon Surge x2 / Insulation / Focusing Strike / Reaper / Time Dilation x2 / Harmonic Targeting and Loader / Fastball How the build works: Dodge near allies to give them radiant, gain weapon buff. Murder someone with Vex. Pick up orb from Reaper Mod... proceed to commit war crimes with Vex. Give allies more healing and radiant dodge to keep your abilities up... and if allies happen to die somewhere on the map... Sect of Vigor gives you a HEALTHY chunk of dodge energy turning that 1:25 dodge into less than 7 seconds if your team is bad. Allowing you to farm your team through your whole mod and class set up for your Vex themed squirt gun filled with Franks Red hotsauce. You ever wanted to see Vex do 41 per crit? This is how you do it. I know this comment will probably get lost in the void... but if you happen to ever see this and try it out, idk I think it would be fun. I spent a long time trying to perfect this and I think it's as close as I'm gonna get.
This is what I use against titans in supremacy. My fellow warlocks, using this with the immortal and le monarque gives them a taste of their own medicine.
I have 2 "that" weapons: Jotun and Chaperone. Chap's range feels inconsistent, sometimes it feels like fighting a scout others it feels like a pre buff sidearm. Server latency means I never hear Jotun charging so I have trouble reacting. Both are frustrating.
