I love how so many of the glitches in this game are just "They don't know how event triggers work" Like the save glitch in Roxy Raceway

When the expolits helps you by-pass the original exploits.

Just 2 quick tips: If freddy doesn't let you inside him you can go in and out of the "fazcade" elevator and he will be fixed. also if you cant call freddy you can go in and out of the vent next to "sides and salats" and you will be able to call him again. You dont have to do all of that. You can just go around fazer blast. Just grab the gun, trash it and get out and freddy will be fixed completely.

Not only is this game $40, it's 80 GIGS. I had to Uninstall several other games to install this one, and was just met with many bugs and glitches that I had to restart 6-7 times just to get to 6am. That not counting the garbage I endured after 6am.

The one thing about this game that surprises me besides the glitches Scott Cawthon would've fixed on his own is that despite all this, despite all the bugs, poor optimization, cut content, unfinished areas and just an overall game too big for its own good, the FNAF community is STILL supportive and optimistic about it. Doesn't matter how little they got. They will stay in the game and try and piece as much lore as they can together, even if it clearly isn't done. It is incredible to me how committed a lot of folks are despite all the flaws I mentioned. And that honestly makes me happy they got something out of all this, because casual players, hell anybody at all wouldn't be supporting Steel Wool if it means getting a half-assed product and charging 40 bucks for it. This honestly feels like a more wholesome version of what went down with Cyberpunk, which was also a big games overhyped and turned out shitty even though the clues for that result were always there. At least SB has something going for it but we still shouldn't except mediocrity. I hope Steel Wool does better and doesn't just make a dlc, they need to fix the damn game and make us all proud

honestly this game has a solid concept and good graphics, but it feels like they never play tested the game.

If this happens I’d recommend heading to Roxy Raceway and picking up the damaged head, this will force the game to a different state that reactivates save stations. I have actually done it before but only to save after 6:00 AM which was honestly life saving for me because I think it was a stupid idea to disable save stations at 6:00 AM

I wish this game gets a Director's cut, because it's so incomplete, there a lot of scrapped mechanics in the files and evn in the game itself (like the level 10 security pass needed to open some doors) and, most importantly, the glitches and bugs like this that can ruin your playthrough completely. I haven't played the game but, from what I've seen, it looks so annoying and takes all thw immersion off, you're supposed to feel scared but you end up laughing at Roxy walking into a wall.

Broken Freddy being in the Roxy Raceway isnt a result of the game thinking its 2 am, he is just always there, the game just never unloads that Freddy after the single conversation where he is needed even on a normal playthrough lol

the thing is, most of the game breaking glitches came by a result of the anti sequence break, so they don't necessarily have to be fixed as much as the loading zone being still there also if Im not mistaken the loading zone of the vent minigame is also there and you can just keep repeating it and sequence breaking

I’m just more and more impressed with how much Steel Wool managed to fuck this game. So many things just destroy your entire playthrough permanently. I’m so glad I didn’t buy it. Hope to see it fixed eventually.

The damaged Freddy over by the raceway is always there, I think. Someone mentioned it with glitches and oopsies, the model doesn't disappear when you continue on with the game - which is weird, since model despawning is the most basic thing in games. But what a wild glitch to stumble onto.

Fun fact, it is possible to get both camera and blaster near the end of the game intentionally, freddy found a party pass on ground

i do feel really bad for the devs and hopefully they can get the bugs sorted out and polish up the game. but im sorry stuff like this is unacceptable in a game that costs 40 bucks. i know they are promising to fix everything later but i care about how the game came out right now. and it came out buggy as all hell. so many bugs ive seen that can just do shit like this to you . cheap enemy desgins with all the damn teleporting. clearly massive last minute cuts and stuff just missing from the game that was promised in the trailers **vanny you deserved so much better**. like. this game had so much promise but made maybe the worst first impression possible. to me personally. this is maybe the worst game in the series. i do still hope they can fix things up and i applaud them for sticking with the game. would have been so easy to just leave it in the state its in. but im sorry this has been a disaster . at this point i just hope the future gets brighter for the series and the team who made it

This seems like a simple fix with just having a variable set that marks of the player has already seen Vanny. This glitch is present in other areas too. Tho that's coming from a Newb's prospective who's only game programming experience is RPG Maker.

I love this game to death, and have played it so much. I actually went through lost and found when I was gunning for getting all bags, and didn't get the "repeat escape Vanny sequence" bug. Weird.

I got the save bug multiple times throughout my first playthrough, even though it was just a casual run. I ended up having to restart the game to fix it, which made me have to repeat the whole endo sequence again. That point was the point that I realized just how much of a buggy mess this game was.

The injured Freddy is actually a separate entity from standard Freddy. It also has a tendency to just not despawn at all sometimes.

I hate how the maze puzzle sets up, "Look for the weird robot, they now the answer," so you'd think the Joke Bot would have a clue in their jokes or something, but then you just find a slip of paper that says, "Try to get all blues in the corner." And that's it. You could have just left that same note in the room where you found the one telling you to find a non-existent robot.

I actually don’t think it was the blaster and camera that made you unable to save. I chose the blaster in my playthrough, but realized you needed Monty Golf to get the true ending. I decided to just glitch my way in and got the camera. It worked perfectly fine for me, so I think it was some other factor.

I actually got that weird Freddy glitch thing. But it didn’t happened when I got into the lost and found room. No it happened when I was going through the vent in the food court. But after not being in Freddy for awhile, he was fixed, literally. After I fixed Freddy in parts and service, I was able to hop in and hop out of Freddy. At least it didn’t happened again on my second playthrough of the game

I got this game with my little brother the day it came out and we were shocked about all the lag and how often the frames would freeze. I know the game was rushed to be released but I believe there should have been more play tests for all these bugs. I really do hope these bugs get fixed in the future. My brother and I currently hit the end point of the game and there is a bug where we cannot get into Freddy and reloading to the auto save for the three endings haven’t worked. We have tried going into a power station but when we do that, we cannot escape Freddy once we are in him. We have been stalling on restarting the whole game because we really just wanted to get to those secret endings we worked so long for. I wish the game was more polished before I payed $40 because right now this game just feels like a early access game without the pay but with all the glitches before the official comes out. My brother and I absolutely love the fnaf series and I expected way more from this game as every other fnaf game were well done

Had something just as wierd happen in my very first Playthrough. After going through the Vent that should have taken me to the Loading Dock Section, it took me straight to the Trash Chica Area. You know, the one where your only supposed to get to AFTER getting the Faz Blaster and luring her into the Compactor... Found out later that I definetly shouldnt end up there. I had to restart the Game on a different Computer because the one I tried it on refused to Run the Game past that Area. Hadnt had the Time yet to look what happens if you progress further in that File, but I still have it.

Markiplier had a similar glitch like this where he was stuck inside of Freddy

i was here for this stream and suffered with you c: Also i can 100% confirm to you that you not being able to save isnt because you got both items, i also got both items before the end of the game and this didnt happen to me. It must have been because of vanny and the game thinking you were being chased by her.

I couldnt do the daycare simply because moon would just walk through all the walls during the generator part and grab me, or do so from the floor above or below. After about 12 tries I gave up and handed controller to a friend. Moon never moved from the center of the room for him. Games amazing!

The worst bug is that when you save your game, leave and start your game from any save it becomes a black screen and you have restart all progress, meaning that you need to beat the game in one save file.

Personally I think Steel Wool studio (after the holiday break they mentioned they will take after the first few patches) : - should release a huge patch fix for the bugs. - Patch out unused code/items from the game (to add it later for a dlc) - add 1 new thing, whether a new enemy to roam or collectables with a secret/ending, etc.. Just something to encourage ppl to come back. - and then finally a new trailer that talks about how every single bugs, glitch and error was caused by Vanny messing with their game (explaining why she wasn't seen in the game much) and then end it with a teaser of the new content. Before heading onto the dlc. You literally have a bad guy/gal? Who's entire premise is that she's an escaped glitch. Use it! It's not just an apology but a lore-building one that can expand your game!

I already thought something was wrong with the laser tag maze. On my first playthrough there was no one except chica chasing me around. At first I thought that was supposed to happen but with the timer and protecting the zone I already had a feeling that something wasnt right. This game is the sonic 06 in the fnaf category

Yeah, the main atrium lost-and-found is some sort of time-anchored location, stuck at specific point in time. This can be exploited, but must be used carefully.

This basically just reminds me that if I ever want to make a game, I need to futureproof it. If some embarrassing error like this happens, then the player shouldn't just be able to shoot a bullet through the whole game by doing something silly like "taking the door instead of the vents".

The glitch of not being able to save properly was caused by exiting through the security door instead of the vent, as you were supposed to. Having both camera and fazerblaster before 6 AM did nothing, since i have already obtained both of them in past playthroughs and was able to save normally. And that's why you should not time-travel in this game at all, since it completely breakes the game, to the point where theres multiple montys and you won't be able to save. And I have also already experienced that glitch where the atrium's music was doubled. It sucked :)

I'm still floored at this bug. But regardless that was a super entertaining stream and it was nice to see everyone trying to find solutions together.

I'm pretty sure they never disable cutscene triggers because to my knowledge going in your the vent where you come across the mini music man for the first time the cutscene plays every time while other vents just spawn him. I've never seen this happen and for a game that was worked on so long it's weird how they could miss this. Small games made by indie dev's even know to not replay cutscene.

I have to agree. Most of the bugs that are game-breaking require some actual effort. The fact that the cutscene trigger for 2 AM is always present even at later times is just ridiculous given how it takes absolutely no effort at all to reach it later on. It doesn’t involve any exploits or anything. If they fix anything in this game, that should be it. Even if most players don’t encounter it, it’s too easy to trigger to be ignored.

You're correct about the saves glitching after you got the blaster. You are normally able to get both the blaster and camera, but only after 6 AM.

Something REALLY simmilar happened to me playing. I first went down to the kitchen area and Vanessa got me there. Before defeating Chica or Monty I wanted to explore more and went for the first time to the mexican restaurant. The mission popped up and I explored the area normally until the security office section. I died two times and them completed it, but the mission didn't update. I was in call so a friend looked up for what the fuck was supposed to happen and yeah I bugged it so much I literally skipped a musicman chase and the mission still wanted me to survive the security office when I was already out. Okey, no problem, I had no items left in prize corner except the cutscene of Vanessa thet shouldn't play because I already saw it. So, I decided to go after Chica, and... welp, THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED. Freddy didn't work AT ALL. I bugged it so much I ended up softlocking myself like two times trying to make Freddy work. So, I killed Chica using cheatengine (no shame on it, sorry) and Freddy worked again! But the mission still was broken. Next time I play better go for the mexican restaurant first-

Freddy never actually despawns from the Roxy Raceway floor. You can go back at any time and he’ll be there, that’s not just this playthrough. This game is horribly smushed together I love it.

I'm actually holding out until the PS4 version gets patched. The framerate and textures are just unbearable. 😭

I got that bug too. I had to exit the game and avoid the trigger zone for the cutscene. I also got the Freddy suit bug but I was able to fix it by progressing in the game.

I love how you got 2 opposite glitches. You can't get in Freddy and you can't get out of Freddy.

One time, my mother and I were watching my sister play security breach, she was at the Roxy Raceway part, after the cutscene where the cart smashed into Roxy, the map didn't spawn in correctly and we were all greeted with a black screen with a few lights in the distance. When the made finally loaded in, it loaded Gregory into an out-of-bounds area behind a few boxes that were too large to move past or jump on, she had to restart her save around 3 times just to get Roxy's eyes, thus the wonders of releasing this game too early in development.

I actually love the glitches in this game. They screwed me over a few times but overall they feel part of the character.

2:59 i had that same issue with not being able to leave freddy, except mine happened after the security office thing in the arcade. it finally fixed after decommissioning chica.

Since you seem familiar with glitching through barriers and walls, a potential speed run which I stumbled upon ending up in the 2AM lost and found.. that maybe someone proficient with boundary breaking can do: when you start the game, instead of progressing through the vents and the maze of glitching out of bounds or such to Vannys room to end the speed run as I see speedrunners do… instead trigger Vanessa to patrol outside the window and glitch outside of Freddy’s room and into rockstar row then proceed to stand in the path of Vanessa. I noticed that anytime you are captured by Vanessa prior to 2AM will trigger Vanessa to catch you, rather than game over, and it takes you to the lost and found at 2AM and upon exiting the lost and found, turnaround and go through the turnstiles you’ll notice immediately the barricade to the main entrance is wide open.. exit the megaplex. If it works, I’d imagine it possibly has the potential to drop the ~3 minute WR

Great Tip, works 100% of the time. If you're exploring after 6 a.m and want more time, or have error saves, just go to Roxy's Raceway, pick up the driver head and you'll get to save. YAY

To be honest I cannot blame steelwhool for this cuz of all honesty a chunk of the fan base kept rushing them to finish it early and things tend to not be ironed out correctly if they're rushed

Weird thing is, I don't think this is normal. There's a collectible (Cupcake piñata) on the other side of the room and I've gone through the game twice to 100% completion, and not either time did it replay the scene. This also seems like something that would be obvious to test, so they very likely did. Weird.

I have to admit I'm loving the fact that you are using A Hat in Time music in your vids the game has a great soundtrack and it's nice to see it being used.

a glitch i accidentally discovered was during the djmm part, after you switch the first three switches you can save in the security office, which i did, but if you die while doing the 4th switch it brings you back to you r save and the amount of switches you have is -1, you are not able to flip any. it ruined my game, i had to restart from the beginning

The glitch exists a lot easier. I did it by beating Fazer Blaster, getting the stuff for dismantling Chica, and grabbing the mazercise control key cause I knew I could grab it. If you do nothing in Monty’s Gator Golf the game will be confused on your progress and Freddy will be only accessible to enter for the foreseeable future until you do something later in time than the Mazersize ticket.

I had the same thing... saving gets disabled when you get stuck in the lost and found mission and sounds from vanny can be heard everywhere.

I had this same issue but with Freddy only. I played through normally but never went to the loading dock to check out the exit and played through till the end. Right after I went to the main exit it gave me the choice and I chose to stay. After staying I could no longer get in Freddy and if I did then I could never get out. Leaving him to jump-scare me every 5-10 minutes after he’d lose charge.

going to roxy raceway and grabbing the broken bot head (After akready doing it) will make the game think you're a 4:45 am which re-enables all the save things meaning you can save even past the part where you have the choice to leave

I did a glitch where I somehow got into the elevator which leads to fazer blaster even tho I didn't have the party pass because I already used it to kill Montgomery gator which is the monty golf elevator. so I killed all three of them at 5:30 AM in the game. ( i also had both the camera and blaster lol) How I did this glitch was by getting out of Freddy in the corner of the elevator. After I beat the maze level ( capture the flag) the bot that was blocking the elevator for Fazer blaster just disappeared.

So in chica's bathroom hide N' seek thing I couldn't get the mapbot/vanny scene because I hit a hitbox early, so I had to replay my game again

I ran into these issues too, it was annoying but I had a save that wasn't too far back, just really annoying.

Watching this video with the only other one FNAF Security Breach video I've watched fully being the 3 minute speedrun one is certainly something.

This is a pretty cool video this happened to me and really pissed me off considering i had nearly got all the gifts lol, I did find a really cool bug though after you choose to "stay" and investigate in the pizzaplex with freddy if you go back to roxy race way and go back to the place where you get the robots head for some reason it aloud me to get it again and made the game think that the mission hadnt been complete and enable the saving to make it work it was pretty neat

You can also clip onto the roxy raceway track and trigger the cutscene where you destroy roxy

The whole not being able to hop out of Freddy is a COMPLETELY separate glitch I encountered the glitch without going back to the Vanny escape room, you just got really unlucky and had TWO glitches.

Oh no! I was thinking about starting my own play through on it too. XD

It happened to me, but after venting i could not call freddy and i got scared that it wont fix so i just restarted from the save that i made before entering the bugged room

This happened to me, I went to go get chicas beak in the trash compactor and I had no missions, couldn’t leave the loading docks, and I was stuck there forever I got set back all the way to the part were I needed to get the faz cam/fazer blaster

I stumbled upon the 2am cut scene when I went back to the security office while trying to get one of the gift boxes. That glitch caused the error to the saves.

With all these games breaking bugs, I'm convinced this game wasn't play tested, at all, in the rush to release it before Christmas

I had a glitch that trapped me in parts and service because I saved after vannessa's dialogue with freddy, when I went through the doors to fix him it let me through one and not the other, so I was stuck. Had to restart whole game and lose 6 hours of progress

Kinda surprised you didn't encounter Giga Monty.

The worst bug I encountered in the game was shortly after reuniting with Freddy in Parts and Service where Vanessa interrogated Freddy. I pressed the elevator button too soon and the door opened on the wrong side of the elevator, giving me a nice view of the abyss beyond the game's boundaries. I was able to fix this by simply jumping into it and loading back to my last save but I was lucky to have this as my worst bug. I sort of feel bad for the people who've had worse to deal with. Hopefully these bugs get fixed soon.

Reminds me of a another glitch where saving is not possible and you don’t realise it until you respawn back at the daycare.

Tetra I also got this bug with freddy but it was later in the game and after I beat music man it fixed itself almost broke my playthrough like you said in the title

Apparently freddy being broken down in Roxy Raceway when he isn't supposed to be is normal, the game has to do some weird stuff to unload him so you can even take a visit to broken freddy while inside freddy, freddyception if you will.

This reminds me of how I can't even get inside of freaddy and thinking that I won't be able to get inside him again

I've had a bug of my own on the PS4 version where I can't progress past the endoskeleton part. I have gone through the entire area, pressed the buttons as needed to progress, then when I've gone to the door to the security room where you get the pass into Parts and Services, the door isn't open, despite me pressing the button. The buttons can't be pressed again, so I have to reload and try again, but it doesn't work no matter what I do.

I got this stupid glitch in the ruin dlc and now when I try to get to Roxy Raceway he floor to continue is just GONE, it's like that everywhere else now too

I remeber this bug where i got into freddy when the elevator was closing and freddy was in between the elevator which made me stuck so i just waited till i ran out of power (also you cant exit out of him for some reason). It was fun though!
