You're absolutely spot on! It's feckin ridiculous the amount of food is chucked? when it can be used for people like us, I'm so glad I'm not responsible for feeding children. And don't get me started on the cat and dog food (I have a cat and a dog) its very expensive, and when I see them opening the bags of dog and cat food and dumping it in the dumpster so no one can use it for there animals! Wicked corporates!!! 🤬
a highly physical job too, running around, lifting and shifting, stretching to reach things...you must be knackered with all your efforts Martin and we applaud you.
Bloody hell Martin.A whole episode on one skip! It makes me very sad to see it all possibly going into land fill but, happy that you've saved it for those that need it. Thank you sir!
not just the homeless sadly...people who work hard for a living, low income families, just about everyone apart from the very wealthy are struggling to make ends meet at the moment.
Well I'll have to tell you that disgusts me that companies what's wrong with all that good food when they could help feed people. The black and white chocolate here in the United States is usually about $4 a bar on the average
Just found your channel. New sub. Can't wait to see what you find in the UK. I love dd videos especially from other countries to see different items. It amazes me each time. The amount of items that can be used and atill perfectly edible food is astonishing. Watching from NYC.
Hey quinoa is pronounced like keenwah. Great score! Watching ya in Texas where my town has made it illegal to drive, like that's going to stop anyone! Stay safe!
@@Lottielou1802 l did some dumpster diving and l loads of items l wanted ti give to the homeless shelter but they refuse to accept it because it was not from " credible source.".
Martin you're some man ,above all I hate food waste every single biscuit and crisp could have been used ,thanks to you they will be .good man ,I admire your determination and dedication .
That was absolutely insane ! How does this company operate and make a profit if it’s chucking out that amount of stock all the time ? This country is screwed !! Just shocking thank goodness you took it all Martin 👍 great job keep up the fantastic work 👍♥️👍♥️😉😉
Well done mate 👏 good work I was homeless for 3 years and if only there was more people like you who are willing to help there would be a lot less empty bellys out there thanks mate.🫶
You've done it again Martyn 😃👋 Saved all that stuff what the hell's up with these Companies that can't be arsed to donate it to a food bank or to people who are homeless on the street. Their losing money hand over fist, they might as well shut shop!!
Wow! This was an amazing haul😮 First I'VE seen in the UK. Probably theres more, just not on video. It will grow , once people see your excellent video.😅
People are struggling to buy food and need foodbanks and retailers are throwing away food like that because they are unable to sell it for profit. Sickening, just sickening!!!
Those Mamosa's are lovely!, not cheap either...Biscoff's are pricey too and it gets my goat to see it all thrown like this...if supermarkets do not call a charity to collect they they should be fined for binning it!, rubbish collectors should refuse to take it and to report contamination of the bins if they find unsold food. problem solved!
Hello Everyone! My son LOVES jalapeno chips and beef sticks!! SCORE!!! The Biscoff biscuits are d-lish with tea and coffee! YUM!! SCORE!!!🤗 HOW SHAMEFUL that food waste is!!! 😠
This is ludicrous considering there are so many people out there that are struggling and there is nothing wrong with those items. Does anyone ever report these companies 😮😮😮😮
This is unfortunately just a pin drop in the ocean of food waste coming just from the UK and it's become the norm. I used to dumpster dive in a Sainsburys Local bin near me and every night you'd have at least 15-20 loaves of bread in there so can you imagine with just bread alone how much waste that is, they reckon about 20 million loaves per year get wasted. On a commercial level the country also throws away 4.5 million tonnes of Fruit & Vegetables due to bruising, mis-shaped etc.
