Let's be honest. The absolute scary thing about this game is the fact that chickens actually exist

They took a pretty normal and serious horror plot, but with just a few details made ridiculous, and it made the whole thing hilarious. Ended up showing how both horror and comedy can benefit from properly placed restraint. It even feels like it's just the right length. It also shows how powerful audio is for making things scary.

I've been watching Insym for a long while now and i genuinely think this is the most shaken i've seen him from a horror game.

Some additional lore for those who want it. There's a cassette tape after the first thats just before the barn area. The person talking is a teacher who comes in to tutor Sebastian, she says that he's learning his subjects very well; but brings up a concern of hers. His body is covered in scars, but goes on to say that she's worried about them being self inflicted (Though I don't think that she even believed that....)

I think it's scary because once a chicken is that big, it's basically a t-rex with a beak :'D

As someone who owns 18 chickens who I love with my entire being, can confirm this is what i go through on a daily basis ( also the chicken villain looks like my favorite chicken, flanker, so that’s sick )

As someone who has worked at multiple farms, this chickens behaviour is very accurate

This video was so clucking funny to watch i laughed my clucking eggs off, this shows how egg-shell-ent horror games can utilize any theme and make it horrifying, it sure gets my coops up for the future of horror, and the jumpscares had my feathers falling off of me, and the music for this game must've been composed by cluck-zzart himself sets the mood perfectly

Why does a game about a chicken have such an interesting lore and soundtrack than most games in general

I love how I was expecting to laugh - did that, but also heard a very intriguing story-line. I would look forward to a part 2 of this if the developer wanted to do more! Also - Insym running WHILE making chicken sounds was one of the funniest things LMAO

This was one of the greatest horror games I've ever watched. So much lore and so much passion for such a silly concept. 10/10 will recommend to all my friends.

This really had no business being as good as it was! I feel as if one of the reasons it was so good and intense was the sound design. The unsettling bass when the chicken gets close is like a thumping heart and the music intensity as it spots you and chases really sets your heart's pace and your nerves on edge. If they didn't nail that amazing sound, it would have felt very, very different, I feel. Of course, not to mention the lore, which was amazing and unexpected. I was pleasantly surprised just as you were! Awesome!!

To be fair this game got it right about how scary chickens can be, they can absolutely kill their predators if they smell blood and there's a decent amount of them

All in all. Good, a few eggs short of a carton - would love to see more cinematic invasion of the vents. The chicken poking its head in would be true terror. The plot had feeling, it was purposely predictable so that's fine - apart from the end. The nature of 3d isnt ideal for this kind of puzzle. But the apparent need to goad the chicken away from areas of interest is a great concept.

I wasn't actually in the mood to watch an Insym video tonight but then I saw giant chicken and changed my mind.

I haven't watched the video yet, but I love chickens. My mini pet rooster is watching too. So I know for a fact, that I will love this video ;D

Aaaaw, poor Cooper, he deserved better. I like his looks, because it is actually very realistic. Except for the fact, that he looks like hen. And the sounds he makes are real too. The developers put a lot of love in this game and it actually shows. Sigh... it would have been awesome if the player could unleash Cooper on Eric, and then somehow tame him. Poor chicken... This game is great! Greater than it should be.

There's something about the pigs that bother me so much Cooper was a mutated chicken, probably. But Sebastian, the record said "I don't care what the mother says" makes me wonder if he was human, but as a fetus, he was inseminated with animal DNA, which was suggested with the recording of 98 pigs order, rats, and the remains of the horse. That's why we've only seen the silhouette, but if you look closely, he doesn't look like he had proper skin and muscles, as if we were seeing directly his skeletal jaws when he was talking. The scientist also suggested that the idea of him later being able to read, speak, and write, suggest that his initial state was one naturally unable to do so. And the end scene where he told himself "I am human" before ending himself, perhaps he just wanted to die a human by repeating the same phrase at his last moment. And we lived to tell the story. Happy Ending(?).

The fact this game makes chickens terrrifying is amazing
