The sinners all collectively have seven brain cells: - 6 of them belong to Yi Sang and Faust, and they refuse to share any of them - Ishmael now has custody of the last one after Dante's gambling addiction came to light
Merusalt is indiffrent to his lack of appearence or Role in the Plot so far. In fact, when asked, Merusalt was unable to form any strong emotion to most topic exept some rambling about the Sun just being too bright.
Come to think of it, wasn't Heathcliff described as vaguely Arab/Romani in Wuthering Heights? Does that mean at some point, the funny French man is gonna shoot Heathcliff 5 times for no reason?
@@0riginal_zer030 Vergilius: Mersualt, why did you kill Heathcliff? Mersault: The sun was too bright Vergilius: (very deep sigh) Dante, please rewind the clock
everyone playing the game: i love all of my sinners. we're a happy dysfunctional family Tsunul: what i wouldn't give to be free of these gagglefucks for one day
Ishmael before entering the Casino: "Our team might be a mess, but I trust Dante to make the right calls in the End. I need to have faith in the Manager!" Ishmael after entering the Casino: Insert LowTierGod meme. In this episode we learn that not only is the Sinner IQ scraping the bottom, the MC is just as dumb. Maybe replacing the brain with Clockwork might have been a bad call after all.
I was wondering how they’re going to have a long gacha life with just 12 characters, but seeing they are actual entertaining characters and not just caricatures appealing to weebs
Which is amazing because this might possibly open up to gachas using this concept. There's not a single gacha (to my knowledge) that uses such a method where you already have all the characters off the bat, but only rolling for alternate versions of those characters.
@@LeafyFox_ honkai impact and sin o alice come to my mind, I want to know how they will do holiday skins or even if they will do them, or would they relate every identity to a group explored in the lore only.
@@LeafyFox_ There are a few gachas like this. Well, not *exactly* have all the character off the bat. But indeed in the sense of rolling for alternate versions of the same exact cast that does not change (And you will literally have all the entire cast very quickly) There are I believe at least 3-4 other gachas that does this to a somewhat successful degree, although I have only played one of those (that isn't Limbus) called Heaven Burns Red(It doesn't have English currently in case you wonder, but also with an entire cast of clowns).
@@LeafyFox_ most idolmaster games have a fixed cast for each branch (the ones I'm familiar with are million live theater days with 52 characters, and shiny colors with like 2x less characters, can't remember exact number), but that's still a waaay bigger number of chars than 12. another plus is that most basic versions of limbus folks/their egos are really good (at least right on the game's release, and they're probably still gonna be solid for beginners in the future) and uptied for completely free.
The difference in how functional and cohesive the Library casts are compared to how dysfunctional the Sinners are is palpable. Although from the first two chapter, I’d say they’re actually in a redemption phase sort of like how Lob corp was for our sephirahs
You realise what happen to the people that has debt there right? But overall it think the second floor is probably a top 10 of the safest place in Limbus world
I remember someone going through the group and explaining just Exactly what kinds of DND players they are in terms of this being a heist campaign gone wrong: Yi Sang: Edgy That Guy Faust: Rules Lawyer Don Quixote: LARPer Ryoshu: Edgy That Girl Meursault: Never RPs, just rolls Attack Hong Lu: Has no idea whats' going on Heathcliff: Murder hobo Ishmael: The only one taking this entire thing seriously Rodion: Loot hoarder Sinclair: New player Outis: DM Yes Man (err, woman) Gregor: Veteran player just trying to have a good time
The only change I would make is to change Yi Sang from Edgy the guy to somebody that shows up to the session higher then a eagle and after listening to Phylosopical Podcasts for 6 hours straight.
Yi Sang: poetry student showing up to dnd high Faust: rules lawyer Don Quixote: veteran player that conceals skills behind LARPing Ryoshu: edgelord murder hobo Meursault: quiet fella, just rolls attack, has a couple character points waiting on the DM to call on them Hong Lu: has no idea what's going on but has a great time nonetheless Heathcliff: unga bunga barbarian Ishmael: serious player, concerned about TPK Rodion: team mom, loot hoarder Sinclair: new player, but he's killing it so far Outis: bit weird about being a yes woman Gregor: veteran player, played long enough to sense danger, rolls crap for charisma based skills
The tonal whiplash between Lobotomy, Ruina and this game is so strong it could create a gale force event. Actually, ignore that. Not between the previous two games and this, between the previous mission and this one.
Makes sense canonically too, you have to be a bit crazy to use EGOs and all 12 sinners can sort of manifest a incomplete one The vast majority of humans simply died in the library and only 2 of them manifested anything Their psyches are also probably screwed up from their numerous deaths and revivals
I mean, to be fair, EGOs and distortions were a product of light, and since this game (supposedly) takes place after the Library, it should make sense for those things being more common
True, so true.... but at the same time it will makes the game more easy since you can basically focus fire one enemy down to death. But with abnormalities I think it's require who you want to target/intercept.
Fan fact: as of now, the beginning section of chapter 3 is getting so difficult for people to get through that Project Moon is actually considering to revise the battle system to give people the ability to manually control who the sinners target in non-abnormality battles.
32:36 every time I see this scene I realise something new. First was Mersault’s deadpan holding some instrument, second was Ryosho playing the ukulele and this time it’s the fact that Sinclair is dancing ON A POOL TABLE.
19:12 Dante: "Easy, Ryoshu... You shouldn't be so prone to starting fights- [Literally a few seconds later] Dante: *Are you ready, Ryoshu?* Dante really tried to be reasonable but man just couldn't help but yap. Hence, he will be tasting Ryoshu's Dante-approved SYNC.
Bro the reason why we can't do this type of selecting which human npc enemy we want gone is because, you can basically delete any character by full sending on them. Take the bosses of library of ruina of both Vanilla and Mods, you can basically focus fire one enemy down and get rid of the problem. Especially if there the boss ones. Just imagine we have the same thing in limbus company, this just makes the game easy/hard at the same time so it's nice for things to be mix up here and there. Plus nice set up of characters, hope you deal with dancing girl with the maracas. Because she will detele any unit if your not careful.
Has there ever been an explanation for the sinners being weaker than from before they hecame sinners? It sounded like we already knew about it but thats literally the first time its (at least directly) mentioned.
The game went the FGO route with their story. From the original serious material to becoming way more goofy to appeal to more people. That's not to say the story isn't serious, but its just that there are more goofy scenes in FGO & Limbus than in Fate/Stay Night & Lobotomy Corp/Library of Ruina.
Pay attention, people (also minor spoilers): whenever things fall into chaos, Heathcliff was the first to make a move in the right direction and kick off some good ol' improvising, so that other sinners have their moments. He did it here, and he did it with the cook-off when he sent the taste test to the right man, and then he went and saved Ishmael from potential distortion. Hype for his canto
