Wow. I first watched this when I was 14-15. Came back as a 21 year old while absolutely stoned because I knew Jazzpunk would be an experience. Got a lovely nostalgia trip instead.

This game has always been underrated in my eyes. :’)

The bit between 11:38-11:45 is a reference to the time when Captain Crunch included a whistle in their cereal boxes which emitted a tone that could hack into AT&T's phone lines.

8 years on and I am still loving this series.

When I was younger, I had to have my RU-vid monatered. I remember not being allowed to watch Jack, so I would hide in my closet. This was the first series I watched under my parents nose. I felt so scared and happy while watching these videos.

This game will always be one of my favorites. The wackiness and sleekness of the style was always so striking to me, and the odd humor shaped my style. I will always hold it near and dear to my heart. Long live the incredible wackiness of Jazzpunk.

I just realized that some of the strange things you see are likely just side effects of the medicine you take at the beginning of each mission (as it states take before each mission or until reality is sufficiently augmented) it’s augmenting your perception of reality which is why people don’t react to some of the events that occur (like the water rising in the director’s office)

I'm pretty sure that the director that Jack is referencing is Steven Spielberg. The opening credits of his movie adaption of "The Adventures of Tintin" had an opening sequence that resembled the opening to this game (albeit, with less flashing light sequences).

I love the style of the game, it's Atomic Age mixed with the 60's the Mod art style in it and a hint of modern style. It's hard to explain but I LOVE all things 20th century, I might get this game lmao. I studied 20th century for years :)
