We played 3-4 player of this at GenCon and it felt like there was no game there. You had two choices and then you would randomly see if it matters. The few traitor cards or something that was an instant win (at least for that player) came up fairly often. We played three times and I noped out because it felt like an activity and not a game.
Great game. Picked it up at GenCon for $15. Played several rounds with 5 people and it was super fun. Got it home and played several more rounds with 8 people and remained super fun. Glad to see it get Dice Tower love.
Is there any particular reason why the "snake" is even there? There is no decision making at all after playing the first card so you could just go at random and it would work the exact same way. Or is there something I'm missing?
There are several cards with "You may..." abilities, or abilities where you choose a room to kill anything (alien or other players), so timing that matters.
