*FUN FACT:* this game has the “fear frequency” playing in the back which is what they use in horror movies to raise your anxiety levels. you can barely hear it but when the volume is raised, it sounds like a fast heartbeat, and what do you know? you can hear it playing in the background of this video. so, staying calm when they said to take deep breaths is basically impossible because the frequency is still playing. :)

So I keep hearing those 3D noises, right? I’m wearing headphones. I’m in my room, in bed, late at night. I hear scratching noises in my left ear. I am creeped out, so I take out my earphone. But the sound keeps going. It’s not part of the game. mY _HAMSTER WAS RUNNING AROUND HER CAGE AND I NEARLY DESTROYED MY PANTS_ Edit: I don’t remember writing this but I have no doubt it’s true

The Pop goes the weasel part with the voices and breathing legitimately TERRIFIED me, I genuinely thought one of my brothers was behind me eating loudly and it actually unnerved me more when I didn’t see anyone behind me. Great game, absolutely terrifying in headphones!

At 15:58 jack asks “Can you hear me right now?!” and for a split second it said yes. I wasn’t terrified until that moment, he didn’t even notice

I think that if instead of a jump scare at the end of the test, if the screen went "black" and instead recreated the look of computer screen glare with a general player figure and a figure standing behind you it would've been creepier and would've felt less cheap.

It's a really interesting game. It's cool how the developers looked at how people describe or react towards stress and discomfort and took advantage of it. The sounds and the pictures and the colors and even the choice of words is known to put you on edge. It's a sensory type of game and it makes it so unique. It's kinda brilliant

The fun thing is, when I watched this I was feeling so unsafe and was curled up in a ball crying because of experiences and also like the fact that I saw a comment saying that a time stamp that when Seán said "can you like hear me or something" and the screen said yes for a split second and also the questions and results always change and it just fucks with your head, ngl this game is amazing and very well made but whoever is reading this and hasn't finished the video, please be careful especially if you have really bad tics, anxiety, paranoia etc
