This game was the pinnacle of emotional damage, proplays, and even science. But it ramped up by the end with that huge announcement. Very happy to hear :)

10:23 was the time I saw the golden opportunity for Psychic Dominator and shouting for him to do it, but he instead pop in his base for a sec and missed it. Also should have used his genetic mutator more liberally, like when his off shore Mining got attacked by a corps of Apocalypse tank, activating it on his own slaves would have saved that island from being completely taken over.
When your ally's destroyers got dominated at 07:32 , the best counter would've been to chrono them on land. Congrats Bryan. Great game. Its so nostalgic watching these gameplays

Man I grew up on this game and all of the sounds are so familiar. Love it...sometimes I watch your videos when I’m trying to fall asleep and it helps a lot. 🤗
Stumbled across this video. Seeing red alert 2 with modern eyes only reinforces my memory of it being a great game. I love how complicated and fun mechanics come together. The fact that it's a legit strat to mind control allied units to avoid enemy mind control is a mechanic is amazing.. And using grav lift tanks to kill ships by dumping them on land? Honestly the amount of fun gameplay design in this game is still very impressive.
Don't know if you know this but you can force mind control your allys MCV with Yuri Prime by holding CTRL. Ask him for a MCV next time and use his tech.
Hey Bryan, one question/request: could you maybe post some games you actually lost on RU-vid too, like back in the old times? I usually don't have the time to watch your streams unfortunately, but love watching your videos on RU-vid on a nice and cozy Saturday evening. :) Of course I'm always rooting for you and your ally, but imho it would make things a little more exciting to watch if we didn't know the outcome at first. 🙂 Just a suggestion of course - thanks for the amazing content and congrats to the recent milestones you've accomplished in your personal life! So just finished the video, what a crazy match and great play by everyone :D One question, at 59:20 - isn't giving your ally an MCV if they lost it common practice in RA2 multiplayer games, and haven't you done this as well in the past? Or is this considered unfair?
If you watch him enough he's singled minded about winning. Moments like that make it seem like he thinks they should be helping him win. He does much the same when he's dominating someone and suddenly a 3rd party attacks him to knock him down rather than just allow him to steamroll. He'll then do the same 10 to someone else 10 minutes later. It's a necessary competitive mindset I'd say.
Is there a good community/unofficial patch I should use for this game? Last time I tried playing vanilla with my friend on LAN and it was crazy laggy (stuttering etc).
Legit, the look of perpetual stress and anguish on my man's face throughout the entire video is intense And that green player is like a bad herpes infection, no matter what you do, it just keeps coming back at the worst times

With regards to the elite apocs in the hovercraft. if you dominate the hovercraft what happens with the apocs? do they become yours too? if so that's OP, if not then u can just leave the over water to neutralise the apoc threat

Boomers are more like stealth Draughts, than subs with bombing ability. If people wouldn't use them like a mass-unit like subs but like a purpose unit like a Draught, you can bring 2 to one place, 2 to the other, 2 to the next and take out most important buildings in one strike. You might get taken out when discovered, but the damage has been done. Crazy unit.
SO, I've started playing this game again recently. My early game is weak (in this and like every other C&C game). I can beat a team of 3 hard AI, but that's nothing compared to any competent CNCNet player. I'm gonna keep practicing.
