Froggy fam!! Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes for our mommy 💛💛 She’s home, and on the mend. We’ve got some recovery ahead, but she’s kicking butt so far!
Your children are so good when they’re out with you on yard sale should be proud of them and be proud of the great father and mother you are. God bless you both
Anthony. My name is Kevin. I'm 52 and have collected Fishing equipment for Decades. I have done my research over the years, and you want to stay away from the beat up, dirty plastic tackleboxes. You want ones that are Vintage and Mint, or near Mint. The stuff your finding in those junky boxes are worth nothing, nor are the boxes in that condition. You want Mint, or near Mint Plano, Flambeau, etc. Look for Vintage, or Antique split Bamboo flyrods in their sock and cases. English Fly Reels do real good, as well as leather trimmed whicker creels. I recently sold a John Romaine creel for $600. It was in mint condition. You want the good stuff, English, French, Scottish, etc. Orvis is good if it's old. Hope this helps. You'll learn.
Boy, I was feeling a mega pick there after a while. Love that your family goes along (till the cold gets them), they’re definitely two young pickers in training and your wife has a good eye too. Always enjoy your vlogs, mutter your thoughts to us a bit more, who cares what the other people think 😂. 👍
@@FroggyFlips Not sure if you know but the most amazing and easiest way I have found to remove rust off tools and just about anything is either straight vinegar or a mix of vinegar and water , depending on how much rust there is and how fragile something is , if it is something like wrenches or nasty old rusty clamps that I can completely submerge I just drop them in a tote with about 1/2 and 1/2 vinegar and water and leave them sit for a few hours or even days depending on how bad the rust is , then a good scrub with a metal brush , you can drop them back in the tote to soak again until you can scrub off all or most of the rust , then I give stuff a spray with alcohol and water mix and wipe with paper towel . It works amazing .
Growing up, we had a mail slot like that, brass, but it did not have writing on it. I always thought it was pretty cool. Outstanding haul today!! I'm so happy to hear that Sarah is feeling well enough to get back to doing projects. Love you guys!
Froggy Family, y'all are the greatest, so amazing to Elliot and each other which says a lot. A bunch of amazing finds for sure. I just got that exact wallet in a mixed auction lot just today, odd. Love that cool music box and mail slot.
Hey Anthony, I'm a newer viewer and have been enjoying your content for sometime now. I'm in Whiteland and never knew you were in the Indy area. I was at that same sale Friday right before you evidently because the things I picked up weren't in your video. Clay and Carrie are good people! What a small small world. Prayers to your Mom and thanx for all the videos and tips!!
The part where you looking through the tools and the music box is playing in the back had eerie vibes lol.. like it could be a mini Halloween film like you’re shopping for your tools for something sinister ooooooohhhhhhh 🎃
I swear man I might have just asked the sellers how much to just shut down the sale right now? So much quality stuff in this place. 3 loads to goodwill and the rest is good sellable stuff. 60 was a steal on that lot. Sold a planer recently for $60 Stanley Bailey if I remember correctly. Always lookup notable alumni from yearbooks.
So good to see the entire family out again! But I have to know if you used Super Glue on your daughter's head, or hypnotize her or just what to get her to leave those sunglasses on through the entire video! 💚 😎💚😂💚😅💚 And an excellent haul, by the way. Love your videos Frog Man!
At 16:58 that piece of wood to the left is called a cypress knee and it used to be cut and sold to tourists in the 60’s and 70’s. It is now against the law to cut them. They go for some “good” money. If you see any in the future it might be worth picking up. I figured I would share some Florida wisdom with you. 😉
I hope mum is doing ok.💐 I wish her well and my prayers are with you and your family. Family is everything take care of them 🙏❤️. Ps keep up the great videos 🐸
Seen the yearbooks you bought, one you showed said crystal on the front I believe . And the page you flipped to there was a add for the Walton Lumber company! Could you tell me what school that is from and what year it is , please?!
Some fantastic finds! Always going through those tackle boxes, i can dig it👍🏻. Were the reels low end? They were near the tackle boxes. I couldn’t quite see them. That knife handle is awesome. That has to have some value. Maybe a knife guy helped you out on that already. Always love seeing the family out having a good time and meeting fans of the show. I still gotta get my hands on sone froggy flips swag.
You too, man! I’m sad I didn’t find out about your shop before the last picker sale. Planning anymore of those? Looking forward to checking you guys out either way!
