Indonesian architects have really mastered tropical architecture. You wouldn't know that this house is in a giant metropole like Jakarta. They've created a whole world separated from the busy city-life.
This house is STUNNING. I love how much the indoor-outdoor feeling was embraced and enhanced. You don’t feel like you’re in the middle of a major city at all! Great job to the architects and landscapers involved. It’s given me so many ideas
I love these architects, this is the second home I've seen from them and both homes are now my favorite homes I've ever seen. I especially love the backyard and pool of this house.
They’ve really created something special! Their designs have a unique quality that makes each home memorable, especially with features like the backyard and pool. 😊
There are so many amazing things about this house. I love how the plants took priority, and I love the color and angularity to the pool. So much character, so many amazing textures. THIS is my kinda house.
What a beautifully balanced design! I also loved hearing that the designers still receive photos of the family enjoying this home as time goes by, what a gift!
I think this is my first time looking at a beautiful architectural house without it looking too cold. So many people have resources but no taste. This was just the perfect way to have class with money 💸. Magnificent, inspiring and warm at the same time, what a combo.
Sumi "having class with money" objectively, is how it goes normally. Did you mean 'without' money? However, having class without money, that's contrarian. That's where I draw inspiration. With money you can afford to do things over ( and over) if it didn't capture the essence the first time (or the second). I'm in total agreement, this architecture has a lot to desire.
Absolutely breathtaking architecture, which thoughtfully works for the owners and the environment! I live in the UK and have been lucky enough to visit Indonesia - such creativity - this one of the best ❤
Ini gila banget sih. Very healing home. Kirain di Bali Ubud gitu tapi ternyata di jakarta. Gila. Pengen nginap beberapa malam di rumah ginian untuk healing. Tapi udara jakarta parah jadi buka jendela kayaknya ba sehat 😅 Banyak tanaman, banyak serangga kayaknya. Overall keren sih tapi high maintenance, kolam ikan, tanaman, pool, deck kayu. Kalau ga dirawat banyak lumut nanti. Penasaran habis berapa bangun rumah gini, ukuran dan lokasi
@@nenitrimeirina3671 Sama, penasaran juga 😄.. Pernah liat waktu rumahnya baru jadi dan belum dihuni kayaknya, tanaman juga blom banyak. Dibahas di channel Rizki Abadi.
Enchanting, down-to-earth and unpretentious house without clutter, well blended with its lush surroundings. Definitely an oasis within a major city. Kudos to the architects and sending all my well wishes to this charming family from Türkiye.
Nearly a paradise, every parts of the house are so well matched with each other effortlessly and yet we know in order to achieve that, it is with lots of efforts.
I wish all south and southeast asian dwellings are designed like this, with architects who really know how to use passive cooling measures. Sometimes I wonder when I see badly designed houses, didn't they learn it in school, can't they suggest it to clients? Living in the tropics in this time and age when the weather is getting warmer and more humid is no joke. Also, utilizing cross ventilations really help not only in cooling but preventing molds in a house.
We lived in Jakarta for three wonderful years and appreciate the wonderful culture and sophistication of Indonesians. The value, creativity and competence of the archtects reflect this. A dream home.
thank you! we love landscaping that much, and they should be treated to form the space,, more than just filling up the blank space..something like marrying architecture with landscape :)
I would love to have the inventory of trees and plants ❤. This is the definition of a modern tropical house. Balance of Nature and concrete. Love from the Philippines
The lush beautiful garden and the pool area is a masterpiece, while the house is big but not feeling empty and cold because of all the greenery plants and it’s allowed bunches of natural sunlight into the house. Love all of the details of the architecture design and landscaping.
This is the most stunning and livable house I have ever seen. The house is of its place yet it is so much more than its place. Truly informed architecture - thoughtful and beautiful. The pool bridge is next level awesome - should be in a movie!
: I aint no Architect, but Tropical space is a vibe that melts the soul. Looks straight outta Pinterest though. Vediography and the music is a 💯... A pure peice of Art. ❤
Awesome architects! They create truly enjoyable living spaces that blend in serene and tranquil harmony. Respect for their understanding of their craft and translating it into reality for their clients, a blessing to their clients.🥇
This is the most gorgeous pool that I have ever seen integrated into a home backyard with the greenery, the bridge, and the sound of water. I wonder what type of water and filter it uses?
I love houses with lots of sunlight, air, wood, nature, & water elements; so I'm loving this, and other videos on this channel. Too bad these houses aren't made in the US. I have so many house design ideas that aren't made around here. I like the idea of incorporating ancient architecture with modern conveniences--always involving a large, swimmable water element.
Great to hear you’re enjoying these designs! It’s a shame they aren’t more common in the US, but blending ancient architecture with modern touches sounds like a fantastic vision!
