three out of four members are confident english speakers rose: i get get the accent on it the E rn but it's pronounced like the wine. she was actually born in new zealand but moved and grew up in australia so korean was more like her second language growing up jennie: she's born in korea but she studied in new zealand for five years which was where she learnt to speak english jisoo: it's pronounced like jee-soo with a softer s. she's also korean born & raised and whilst she understands english well she can't speak it confidently lisa: she's actually thai, she learnt korean whilst training after passing the audition the company did in thailand. she is the third english speaker because he step-dad is swiss im pretty sure so she speaks it to him
