@@user-th4ro4oy8s there are actual ways they can test this with specialized equipment. it's how they got coke starlight. they detect different compositions in the vacuum of space, and some are those found in fruits and berries. it's interesting and you should check the studies out sometime.

There actually can be lakes in lakes believe it or not just it's that fish would immedielt die in the second lake (because the reason there are 2 lakes is because the bottom layer has so much salt in it)

Different types of water naturally separate all the time. If they are different densities aka fresh and salt water, they will separate by density and not easily mix
