Thankfully Mark and I are friends, because as every single dish here comes PACKED with Thai-chili power - a Spicy SomTam Salad challenge is a risky move here indeed!
Honestly, although you may think that today is sort of a Chili eating standoff... well, we learned our lesson for that type of friendly challenge years ago! (didn’t we??)
The incredible versions of Spicy Som Tam Salad they're serving in Khon Kaen are worth traveling here just to eat them! And as I shared with the head chef here today, "If there was only 1 restaurant in all of Khon Kaen that I could pick for today, its easy to choose Som Tam Parinya (Spicy Salad University). I love this restaurant, you guarantee a good time here besides the already incredible food..."
Yeah - this meal today was just FUN.
