The problem with this isn't actually the deck but actually the algorithm just completely screws over certain decks. It's part of the reason why I don't really enjoy MTG Arena. There are some benefits to the algorithm but overall, some of the top tier decks in paper just don't carry over because of how WoTC have designed the game.

I had a different Gruul deck, but had the same thing happened to me: Turn 4 Embercleave on Questing Beast. Opponent conceded right away lol

your experience playing is completely different from mine, normally no one gives up, there is always fight from the very beginning and there are counters all over the place, I mean, sometimes i can't even play a creature because every single thing is countered. Also, people with you play quite fast.... with me sometimes takes them forever to play a land, to decide to pass the turn, to play a creature, it takes them forever to do any single thing.

It's because of Arena's god-awful matchmaking algorithm. It's almost always a mirror match. If you have a fast deck, you go against a fast deck. Slow vs slow and so on. I hate it because I don't get to really see other types of decks out there that might be interesting to play.

Decks that work in table top magic don't always work in MTG Arena because of the algorithms that they have in place.

U talking about the starting draw? There's only algorithm in B of 1 not B03 . Bo3 u can still get Mana hosed and draw horrible. Is there some algorithm to who u are matched against? I don't get the idea that paper deck cant translate to arena. Same cards same rules! No one wants to shuffle virtual cards, hella redundant.

I started building This deck after that tourney was over. Only have 3 questingbz and few minor deck changes no harpoonz . I just hit platinum 1 been playing. Strictly this and the monored or simic food. And maybe Kitty's in the Oven deck , when bored of course. Never tried to grind past platinum. Hope I can keep tearing it up . Good luck evry1 peace.

15:46 - How does a guy who unsummons a hasted unblockable creature in first main get to Diamond level in Arena? Could have at least baited you into combat, see if he could pull out some card advantage.

most of these guys play blue... think about that. They don't win playing the game, they win out of boredom of the opponents.... blue is really for all those losers out there. Sometimes they don't even bother with creatures... just try to steal all your cards and win like that. One time I let it go for one and a half hours..... just to make the sucker pay for the win with this time, while i was watching a youtube video.

do you do alot of drafts to get boosters or just use gold to get more cards I'm having issues getting the cards I want but I've been playing for about 2 weeks on arena

First game, turn 2: I would 100% pay mana to have the ogre shock ready to counter their t2 play. If they play something and you draw a land but have to shock to kill say a 2/2, that would lose so much tempo. With the speed of this deck, the 2 life is rarely relevant if you can keep the board presence I would think?

It just seems so much harder to win this rotation...even if I had a card with a one drop lightning bolt that removed 20 life counters I couldn’t win...oh yeah nice deck

Gruul also destroys brawl. Use Domri Anarch of Bolas as the Commander Just to good 80% win rate so far

Planeswalkers are OP. You should not be able to have more than one card on the field per player.

They need to limit how many planeswalkers you can have in a deck. I played against that violatedframe dude with that same exact deck he's running and it's just cancerous.

I have to just say it's not the best deck of 2019......if you look at the win/loss record of this at mythic championship it had a kinda bad record for winning the tournament. I did not watch mc and am not sure how by record it even won. I am not saying it's a bad deck just not the (best) of 2019.....

Feeling a little Insider information in tabletop the deck is extremely good Ben Arena on the normal servers the deck is absolute crap doing with the Championships when they're playing each other or put on a separate server than everybody else in that server the drawers are just like tabletop weather should be for everybody call Havre de like to live a positive wire money to The Sylvers you put on but I'll flag I got to say
