Don't forget the lifelink side of deafening clarion. Razeboar + Greatwurm would have gained you 22 life.

it would have only gained 6 since the effect could only be cast at a time in which it affected the Razeboar, but yes i cringed at that too

At the time I did not consider it. In retrospect, the correct decision was made. However; there are times life gain is the correct route to take.

@@georgeblair3894 Wotc does a good job for most part when it comes to flavor but there are many failures I'll never understand. I'm assuming certain creatures would be too OP if given proper abilities.

They might not give out all these keywords to keep others relevant. Having a lot of creatures with reach makes flyers unplayable. And since they usually come with a higher cost than other creatures, it would also add to this aforementioned problem. But flavor wise, I agree, it's absolute nonsense!

Great Brew! Jeskai Fires and (still) simic Flash are the bane of my existence in this current meta. Everyone is talking about Golos, but besides it's consitency it feels very predictable and some what slow - so i don't mind it too much. the most success to that day i had with a Boar reanimator, running RBW with a little planeswalker hate and boardsweep.

Illharg without haste is weak imo. Nice if you can attack with it and have an agent at the same time on the hand but usually it gets countered, destroyed or bounced or you dont have an other creature on hand to make it worth.

This deck is fun. I've been playing a similar thing just without the Wurm and the Cavalier. The thing is OKO IS A CARD. That card singlehandedly shuts down this deck. That's why people see Golos as the villain. Oko is supressing all value creatures that cost more than 4 mana. Ergo, Golos has less things to worry about.

I haven’t seen a comment saying it yet but it hurt my soul to see him bounce the grazer ! Tefs -3 is up to 1 so you don’t need to have a target to draw the card 😬

I was nearly yelling at the screen when you started to attack the Liliana instead of going face and stealing her with Agent....glad you found the right line. Meteor Golem is another nice add off Ilharg (basically the same as Cavalier but doesn't give them a 3/3).

The additional value off Cavalier is better hence mythic and also the deck has clarions for the golem

i 100% agree about the golos/LOD combo deck, it is EASY to beat, it can be super slow. so if you keep pressure on at beginning and use your counters/kills correctly you will win every time. dood, this deck is incredible... i modified a little but holy sheeeeeet I'm at 80% atm.

Difficult to incorporate fling since we aren't dealing much damage in early game... Otherwise Imperv and Fling would be a great closer... Also, fling takes up space, there's other options I prefer than a useless fling in hand. Great card but not this deck

I've had a similar deck since the release of Eldraine with Cav of Gales instead of Dawn, I think I like yours just a little bit better. So far 7 wins and 2 losses in the play queue, people keep jumping ship when the King comes down.

Flames was a thought but in this specific deck, creatures are not heavy and ability to Destroy any nonland permanent has its perks

I read Flames, not Gales. Haven't played much with Gales but always thought Dawn was a sleeper, most players tossed aside.

Wow. Love that this kicks field of dead ass. Pulling the greatwurm and agent of treachery is so sick when you attack with Ilharg. My only (extraordinarily minor) complaint is there are not enough greatwurms so getting to him is not happening as often as I would like. Awesome build!

Skadoosh Joey Moss.... I built a deck similar to the Deck you Made and Showed off Yesterday..... I did some subs to the Deck, but not Too much... I also made a Side Board and also Took deck into Best of 3, and I played an Opponent that running nothing but spells that directly hit me, and I had a Teyo on the Field and he Scooped......

I just started playing when Core Set 2020 dropped 3 mos. ago (after making fun of these weirdos who play "magic" my whole life lol) but a couple friends of mine love those modern elves or whatever. I don't know enough about modern to really talk about it but i know it's fun. Can't say i'm familiar with the modern infect either, but nice. i can however certainly agree with the Entering the battlefield triggers - that to me is one of the funnest parts about playing Arena, it'll never be the same as playing in person. Still fun, but the speed and aesthetics of triggering on arena is a real thing of beauty! Thanks for the reply, you're the man!

I made a deck like that but instead of cavalier of dawn I use cavalier of flame and use it ability to give my creatures +1/+0 and haste.

Need answers. Deck doesn't respond or make a play until turn 3. If I play Chromatic turn 3, not only does it take up a spot in deck but it could cost me the game. I enjoy ramp and being able to access 5 colors of mana but it doesn't make sense running less than 2 copies, that's 2 cards the deck can't afford.

there are edits? ;-) some of your turns are taking forever and it seems you are never looking at your hand when making choises. I'm always, like screaming at you....YEAH DO IT, DO THAT!!, COME ON! COME OOOOOOOONNNN! hihi, the opponents in these matches were perfect for this deck, and never really took off, And the golos win was a lucky one with him not seeing the trample-trap. Please show some more matches with this deck, I wanna see if this is a consistent one. It's more fun than the usual FOI decks.

Please tell me your joking about wondering why people dont like field of the dead I have watched, played agianst and played as a field of the dead deck it recovers very easily from board wipes. And there isnt a way remove FOTD easily so far the only thing i have seen to remove it assasination trophy, casualties of war, technically agent of treachery and unmoored ego but these last 2 are not always ideal. Plus FOTD laughs at oko based strategies because they make more creatures than those decks can usually deal with, while usually not having board wipes usually. Also mono red is just in my opinion from watching you and many others, as well listening to podcast and looking at websites doing very terribly

From my understanding, Bow deals the 1 damage not the creature. Different from equipment in the past.

"Heart-Piercer Bow deals 1 damage". In the M20 draft you had a lot of this enchantment and eg sedge scorpion but unfortunatly it doesn't work.

G1: oppo was manascrewed, G2: oppo didnt rtfc, G3: oppo decided not to block and kill agent + maybe scooped to early, G4: t3 boardwipe ggwp, G5: oppo made same mistake twice. but the deck is UNSTOPPABLE
