In this video I am checking out the new Axiom v2 from Blue Cat Audio.
Axiom is an incredibly versatile amp modelling plugin from Blue Cat Audio. This is the brand new version 2 of Axiom. As a plugin, it can do everything you could possibly need it to. As well as having a huge library of amp, cab and pedal sims, you can also import your own VSTs, use the Destructor module to create your own amp and cab sounds, use Re-Guitar to change your guitars pickup sounds and so much more.
In this video I focus on just how easy it is to get started with Axiom. Plugins can feel daunting for more analog minded players like me, so I approach this from the ground up and show you how easy it is to build a rig in Axiom.
In the video I am using a Yamaha Revstar RSS02T plugged straight into my audio interface. All the tones are coming from Axiom.
