Being a billionaire in China is a fickle thing. You can see billionaires rising and falling meteroically all the time. It seems as though the main condition of finding wealth in China is playing ball with the CCP.
@@LogicallyAnswered Sorry but i can't agree with you. I understand that you don't have neither background in politics nor finance/economics. There are currently 698 Chinese billionaires compared to 724 billionaires in the US. China and the US each share around 20 of the worlds top 100 banks and makes india which has 2 look like a baby. Any research report from Deloitte, KPMG, McKinsey, MS, JPM, BX, BR etc would tell you why China is excelling in areas which the uneducated don't know about. Investments in green technology and carbon reduction are something the mainstream media doesn't about.
That was good storytelling. I started out selling lemonade - 5 cents a glass. By the time I was 8 the bottom had dropped out of the global lemon market and I was floundering. My father bought me out by reinstating my allowance. Well, the rest is history. My net worth? I can confidently say it’s less than $95 B.
because water is the most important resource in life. People don't trust water from house. in fact many people in the US got rich selling water, purified water.
Thanks for the suggestion Joshua! I wasn't sure if I wanted to cover the topic at first. But once I saw that he made all of his money by just selling water bottles, I knew I had to cover it haha!
3:50 People in US buy bottled water because they have lead pipes (at least I heard that with current stimulus government is to replace them with something else)
problem with pump and dump is it is very hard to tie the action to another company or ccp. it may be as much a robin hood day traders, hedge fund as is a ccp pulling the string
Great insights..however Zhong networth isnt totally about the Nongfu shareholding, he also owns a similar stake in his other pharma company Beijing Wantai..and Beijing Wantai made its debut out in there in the market and the IPO was well received..can the sudden increase be also as a function of the new company of his that was listed during 20's..though not denying the fact there may have been CCP role as you stated?
before this video, i watched a video of how zhong shengshen got rich, which is by selling water. but your video is too eye opening to not subscribe to. I'm subscribing!!
Stock is the oldest online market we have done in the past years, We employ it because of the highest quality services it renders and how successful it is, today we now say crypto currency too, I'm just saying that people should develop the habit of investing.really helpful in life,,,.....
Those scammers they promise to make up to $50,000 profit within the space of 7 days with just $500 to invest and end up not even refunding your capital but she's a woman of integrity, with $500 she will tell you she can only make profit within the range of $4000 to $8,900 and she actually delivers.... she's great
@@LogicallyAnsweredi really don't know. I'd say their average compared to the other Chinese brands. Maybe it's just their popularity and marketing as you said in the video
@@cccheezy imo it's because they are the cheapest and available everywhere, literally within 50 meters of anywhere in a chinese city someone would be selling it, I don't know how they have this distribution. When I was in China I almost drank 4 bottles of it everyday, it was my primary source of drinking water.
Both Zhong Shanshan and Jack Ma are from and founded their companies in Hangzhou. There's gotta be something in the water there, and it ain't just minerals.
Great video as usual! Here's an absurdly abridged, simplified version of why Americans may continue to buy bottled water: 1) Lead contamination is found in almost 2,000 water systems across all 50 states, and most likely in US territories. Flint, Mic is a prime example. 2) There is a severe disparity in the sewage system for communities of color, like Cahokia Heights, Ill, where literal shit is backed up into their faucets. This was in 2021. 3) This is more speculation: if immigrated from a country where drinking water from the faucet could be deadly, you're more likely to continue purchasing bottled water as it was a habit. With the distrust in our water system and fear of catching a deadly pathogen, it stands to reason why we buy bottled water.
Why I use bottled water: my local public water supply is rather ... bad. And I rent an apartment and can't install my own filter. At the quality I would like.
reminds me of Canada freezing bank accounts of their citizens. also of Australia police riding horses and trampling on old women. Toe the line like sheep or else....
Thank you., very informative., That is amazing to know Water will be the Best investment to be part of., or to invest our money into Water., 👏👏👏👏🙏👑💎💯👍⭐️🌟🤩🏆
not really like you said, this guy don't only sell water,he invested much more in Biopharmacy area(first chinese HPV Vaccine)...... To some extent he was indeed much wiser than JACKma.
I only buy bottled water because I drive a truck. (Pretty sure) distilled water is best for people with those sleeping machines. Idk why anyone else uses bottled water though.
Alien: Dude, I have an idea we need to sell water to earth. Alien2: What? They don't need renewable energy? Alien: No they are drinking water that literally shortens their lifespan.
Wow!!!! This Looks like the CCP's way of telling the world "we can make a billionaire or stop one if they will not bend to our will". No wonder Jack Ma was strangely compliant when he reappeared to the public. Makes me want to laugh & cry 🤣
I HAVE BEEN MAKING LOSSES TRADING MYSELF...I THOUGHT TRADING ON DEMO ACCOUNT IS JUST LIKE TRADING THE REAL MARKET... CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT OR AT LEAST ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO?
Nice video lads This will be a nice weekend binging what i miss But there is something i dont understand. The stock only rose 80-100% from 40$ to 70-80$ if Shanshan only have 2 Billion and lets say all of them is in stock his wealth will only increase from 2 to 4 or 5 billion and later fall back to 2 billion. From this observation it just seems that CCP just literally gave Shanshan 90 ishBillions (in stock or in cash) which is quite bizzare for CCP, because that amount is very high even for them. It seems CCP is sending a msg to every moguls in China. Be Good and we will reward you. Be Bad and we will punish you.
I should've clarified this in the video. Nongfu Spring was a private company till September of 2020. So, Zhong's initial surge in wealth from $2 billion to $50 billion can be explained by public investors valuing the company at a much higher PE ratio than private investors. Who knows though, maybe the CCP was the public investors haha!
@@LogicallyAnswered oh thats why, but still The surge is just way to high for such company, not even nestle is that crazy. Yeah CCP is obv sending a msg
Is he the guy that's stealing our water in NZ because it's free in some places in NZ, so he would make billions from it. But the think is he stealing water and build his factory on stolen land This is a big crime.
I'm from the U.S. and I won't even brush my teeth with tap water from my sink... We've resorted to bottled water also... Now billionaires here have started the pathway to privitize natural water ways.
I do not think you can become wealthy if you are fighting against authorities in any country. Its not a china thing, this is seen everywhere. Especially where I live in Africa, we need to be realistic and open our eyes to what really happens in the money game. CONNECTIONS ARE KING. Very, very few people can make it without an invisible hand pushing everything.
if you make your fortune selling plastic bottle water, the person should be responsible in cleaning up the environments too. he has enough money to set up an organization to set up recycling operation.
He became a billionaire by trading water...mhh i can get almost free water from the water tap....mhh...oh i got a new business idea! Who wants to buy my water?! It's the best :-)
