I went to the same High School as BJ , but different years. I used to see him in the County Fairs and around the local pool halls. Everybody knew that he was going to make it. His very first local hit was "Lazy Man". He, Roy Head and Kenny Rogers started at the same time. He had a very distant voice and I could identify immediately. I had just returned from Vietnam when "Hooked on a Feeling" came out and I was so proud to let everyone know that I knew him. I love all his music and will always remember him. RIP
My favorite artists covering the song my parents used to listen to this on an album when I was young back in the late sixties I believe! Rest in peace BJ Thomas will never be forgotten

I saw him in person in Disneyland in 1973. He had a hat on wearing tight jeans singing his hit songs! I won’t forget that moment. May God keep you eternally happy.

Romy Schneider was so beautiful who met a sad end. She was a pretty good actress in her day. These pictures of her are a nice way to highlight this song about a guy who lays it all out there and tries to find out if the girl he cares for cares about him.
What an UNIQUE and WONDERFUL VOICE BJ THOMAS had...there will NEVER be another that can sing as he did! I never met him but would have loved to...only to tell him that. Rest in peace beautiful spirit that you are BJ...that gave the world serenity with your voice. GOD BLESS YOU!!!l
B.J. recorded some beautiful songs in the 70’s. I remember back in ‘73 my 6th grade class had to sing his song, ‘Raindrops keep falling on my head”. I’ve been listening to his music at times since then. And BJ was a good Christian man also. RIP BJ Thomas. You may have left this world, but you left a great legacy of music and good will.
This is the first time I've heard BJ Thomas sing his version of this song, and as always, it's amazing, just like everything else he ever sang. I will be 60 at the end of this year, and I have loved BJ Thomas since I first heard him sing. I also saw him perform at a Billy Graham crusade in Reno, Nevada in the late 70's, and although I know I'll see him in heaven, I miss him so much - it's so hard when the great ones pass away😔 So until I see him again on the other side, these wonderful videos will have to do. Rest in peace in His loving arms❤

B. J. Thomas had so many hits when I was coming up as a teenager. He was a very good singer and a voice that didn't require Autotune or over processing. Just natural RIP!
