21:04 this is such a common mistake, I used to do it too. Something in your brain just tells you to wait until you're 1% hp to teleport, but the reality is if you're 100% surrounded and not getting out you should just tp early and save the health/mana.
Man this is embarrassing. I used to do that thing with the Arcane tower back in 2008 when I duo'd on ladder with my friend in high school. Except I built the tower right next to my townhall so you only need 3 farms to "protect" it. I dunno, maybe it was a normal thing people did, I didn't play ranked after finding custom maps :)
Grubby I did the same thing as you. I jad many trees come down in the spring and spent way too long chopping wood and was sick and sour at the end of it. Now I go out and chop for about 15 20 minutes everyday to make some progress and feel fine doing it.
Can you still double cast with the obsidian statue? I swear I heard Back2Warcraft (or you) talk about Happy doing it to get both mana and hp at the same time. Maybe it's worthwhile during low apm creeping?
I would Like to understand the decision making at 14:10. you know that the ne army was Right behind you and you decided to creep. Was it worth it or a Little mistake under pressure? Or did you speculate that he would take another way?
hi I've got a question about Lightning Shield: when exactly does it count as your kill and when as someone else's? Like, what's the difference in who casts it an on whom, when the LS makes the final blow? And whi gets the experience points for the kill?
Is there ever value in attacking a structure that's currently being built, but not destroying it? Like, damage it down to 10% (or whatever breakpoint percentage where they don't cancel it), stop attacking, wait for more of it to complete, attack it down to 10% again, and repeat? They're going to cancel it if you keep attacking it beyond 10%, so let it complete and either force them to repair it up, or destroy it when it completes at 10% HP and they can't cancel it anymore Edit: typo
Imo, delaying building is more important, if opp started to build driads on 1-2 minutes later that's your free farm time. Resources are not that important 50gold and 20 lumber or two uncontested camps?
They'll get back less resources that way. Resources that you get back from canceling building will decrease proportionately to damage taken while building.
Not really. If you're bothering with that then you're just giving him more chances to save the building while slowing yourself down. Once a building is completed a good defender can keep it up indefinitely while you try vainly to kill it and he just kils you.
I know it's tempting to focus that DH, but he staffs him out, drinks moonjuice and staffs back in. The focus is just wasted everytime. If you focus a bear at least you force him to staff the bear or let him lose it. When his staffs are on cooldown then you can go for DH. Right?
@@FollowGrubby Easily accurate most of the time. 15:05 this is possibly not one of those times and also when the game is lost. Was that indeed optimal or would focussing a bear and nuking Naga not be better?
Not sure why so many people are giving you a hard time over the first game! Your opponent was really strong and practically the whole game was a micro battle. One tiny mistake here and there made all the difference! WP
BNET ranking really superb! You like what, 25W-1L and get a human not walling off his base (no offense to him!) - such balance! (or, am I the noob, not knowing you do in fact NOT wall-off as human in 24'? :D )
Grebi always delivers on videos, but not all of them are Bronze League Heroes, which is not ideal. Still there could be worse things in the world, like starvation, poverty and war.
I don't get it, you chopped wood for 3 and a half hour and you only split 3 wheelbarrows worth? Normally chopping wood can be a real workout, but at that pace you should barley break a sweat. For comparison, I think that I chopped around 10-15 wheelbarrows worth of wood every hour when I used to chop a lot of wood. Though at that pace, I was totally exhausted after an hour or two.
