L'Oreal Excellence has dyes specifically for dark hair. You don't have to pre bleach your hair. Not sure if you have a beauty store called Sally's, but that's where you'll find it. It's a life and time saver. They have multiple shades of blonde as well as red. Hope this helps. You guys did an amazing job.

As long as you don't have jet black hair and your hair is brown or even dark brown you guys could have just gotten salon grade hair dye and not had to bleach it and just apply it with 20 or 30 developer ❤
Great job leaving the roots for the end. Roots are closer to the scalp which means more body heat and it’s newer hair so it’ll process faster. And yes red is a great color for when it’s patchy. Overall good job. Consider going to school, you may have an even better hand for other hair looks.
