This was an eye opener for me. I’m in my 60’s with very short and thin hair. I would never think that wasn’t her real hair. What a fantastic job making these. I know age doesn’t matter and it would be a fun way to create a new style. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. All these demos are women with shoulder length hair or longer. I keep my thinning hair shorter...to the bottom of my ear. Can you please show some shorter topper styles? Couldn't you trim a shorter topper to be a bob? Please think of us shorter hair gals, too. Thanks.

In the 60's ...i bought a fall...my own hair was to my shoulders and very thick....but anyone can have bad hair days and especially in college when you dont have time to style...my fall was styled just like my hair...i believe it was real hair Colored my shade It took quite awhile for even my roommates to know...and that's because i removed it...especially when the girls started to become a little jealous that my hair never looked bad

I need this, I have 2 huge cowlicks in the back and I always find that I never quite have enough hair in the back when I'm styling my hair, it just wants to fall to the front and then the back looks sparse. I can never find this sort of thing in a red or burgundy to match my hair though.

If you do your own color, then you can use the same color formula on a halo and topper that I would get pretty close to your match! But if you happen to know your formula, then I can also do that for you!

Can you customize by perm rods if you have a medium length perm ? I need the extra in the topper and the halo. I need this! Hair has been getting so thin.

I cannot perm the toppers or the halos, because it would ruin the hair, unfortunately! But because you barely have to wash them, it holds the style for a really long time! To create a perm look, you would just need to use a three-quarter inch curling iron!

@Mrfrankblak - unless the price is $20, it's too much. And her brushes alone are like minimum $18. As a wig-wearing white chick, I can do better with a cheap wig from Sam's Beauty and a touch of bleach for the knots. Caucasian women get hosed for wigs/toppers/bundles because it's taboo for us to use. We have to look to our beautiful Black sisters to learn what to do and how to do it...especially on a budget.

It really varies from person to person! That is why I love that you can wear the topper by itself if you want OR wear it paired with a halo!

I've worn both (not this brand) a thousand times and it's not hot at all. At the end of the day, it's SO nice to take it all out but I'm never sweaty. (And I'm a naturally sweaty person)
