if this kit was actually available for purchase, I would 100% choose it over the Millennial MPS-1000. Unfortunately only thing I can do is keep this kit on my radar just in case. Would you mind making a comparison video between the two since they are in the same price range? Would love to see it.
The Humpback Ace-530 available on Amazon. Humpback Ace-530 versus the Millennium Mps-1000? This may make an interesting video, but... I would not buy either e-kit. The Millennium is known for not having a great hi-hat and most swap it out for a better one. Also the Millennium kit is known for crosstalk issues that can not be completely dialed away. Although the Millennium kit looks good from a distance, I have seen videos of the cheap shotty craftsmanship. The Humpback Ace-530 is made in a factory in Singapore. It is just like the other mass produced e-kits. They are cheaply made and usually do not last as they are made with cheap components inorder tovoffer the e-kit at a low price. The truth with e-kits is any under $2,500.00 is not going to be all that good or function as closely to an accustic drum set as most will want. If the e-kit company says the e-kit functions, sounds, feels, and also just like an accustic kit and the price is under $2,500.00 you can be guaranteed that the build quality will not be good making the e-kit not worth buying, or you will be disappointed with it.

This is exactly the same as the Donner DED500 Pro! What's the real difference other than the cymbals are black? You never mentioned how many zones each pad has? Didn't even mention if the cymbals are choke-able or not!? Im assuming so because this is identical looking to Donner DED500 Pro right down the module!!!
On Amazon it is priced at $1,199.99. As this e-kit is an off-brand made in a factory in Singapore with cheaply made parts and construction I would not ever concider buying one.

You didn’t really test the dynamics of the snare for things like drag and buzz roll. Amazon sells the 360 but looks like with the module from the 530. Are the pads the same on both modules? And again, the dynamics of the snare to do what u mentioned above and for ghost notes.
This kit comes from Singapore. It becomes a way too expensive e-kit to have it shipped outside of Singapore. It does have the dynsmics you want but not as well as some other brands. For what this e-kit cost in Singapore, you can get just as good or even a better e-kit in the US for that money, and the price of the kit in Singapore plus shipping to the US makes the kit not worth getting as for that kind of money you can get a phenomenal e-kit that is already available in the US. In my opinion buying an e-kit from overseas is just stupid. You may save on the initial kit purchase, but the shipping and customs cost makes these very expensive and not really worth that price. Also, with overseas shipping, you may end up waiting 6 months or more to get it. The other problem with buying anything from overseas is customer support. If there is an issue with the product from overseas, it is a hassle to talk to anyone in customer service as there is a time difference and a language barrier. Also, if something needs fixing or to be replaced, this can cost you quite a bit of money and months waiting for results. Stick with all the big name brand e-kits. The one-off brands or the brands sold exclusively overseas and not in the US may look good, sound, good, and seem to play good are usually cheaply mass produced to keep the cost low so people will think they are getting a deal when what they are really getting is an e-kit that usually does not last, parts that should be metal are plastic, thw plastic used is general cheap and prone to cracking especially the cymbals, and because you need a power converter adapter to run it over time because the e-kit was never ment to run on US electricity will usually eventually burn out the electronic components such as the module. These reviews are somewhat fun to watch just to see what is out there. Also, usually, with these types of reviews and the reason RU-vid drummers review them, is the e-kit companies will help support the channel for the review.
@@IamadrummerPerhaps this is true for the other models, but the ACE-360 is on Amazon right now with free delivery for $430 USD. I have never seen a full active hi hat, 12" snare/tom, and 4 cymbals at that price point. Ever. The 360 has to be worth it so long as it is as robust as it looks. I use midi for my electric kits anyway so the brain for me is just a means to have midi out so the sound library is irrelevant to me. Super interested in finding out more about this kit. Too bad there aren't any mentions of it on RU-vid, but it looks like a good guess that it's an amazing bang for buck setup. ESPECIALLY the active hi hat, that's a game changer. Haven't seen that included in a kit less than $1k USD ever.
