@@TheGreenMonkey-ly9oy i'm playing the mod right now and that has been nerfed/patched. now it requires 20 water per battery "to cool down the alternator" while still doable, it's quite the nerf, specially because it drains 20 units,
- The handheld saw consumes batteries to work but that won't be an issue is you build and alternator - You forgot to look at the bots that you unlocked (the automation alternative of the workbenches) - Before going to the coordinates i suggest taking a lot of storage with you (note: be carful as you may get lost there) - The stairs you found in the back of the pipe rooms connect both pipes rooms and the basement you can enter the basement when doing a side quest taken from Justin (get the microwave from the basement quest) and (note: you will need a lot of storage chests)
Watching you, Kosmo, and kAn run through this all together is amusing....and all very different. kAn is creating his own treetop automation fortress, Kosmo picks a new and random direction every 15 minutes, and you're playing SUPER minimalist but with top tier tools.
Hey, Scrapman all handheld tools require batteries like the Saw you have and the drill you can get later on. So as long as you have batteries in your inventory the Handheld Saw and Drill will consume them directly when they run out of power until you are all out of batteries. Whereas you can use the controllers and engines to use regular drills and saws on vehicles. Complete all the quests of the HQ guys as long as you have the materials for it in your inventory or at hand close by just to clear them up and the rewards you get for them are not bad either. Glad you finally used the corrupted Keycard in the piping room to open the door requiring a scrambled Keycard (Keycard CORRUPTED=SCRAMBLED). You can set an alternator and bearings with a controller to generate batteries for you.
The reason you thought you could build on the shed is because you could build on the shed while you were building it. You just didn't notice you couldn't build on it any more when the quest was over.
Yes, but I remember he was building it when he said it and he could see that he could build on it so he thought he would be able to build on it later.@@Blackbirdtree1
I'm pretty sure 16:16 is just a Portal reference: "I'll contact Mr. *Johnson* over from the *Cave* HQ about the situation.", *Cave Johnson* so I don't think there's a cave
Hey Scrapman a big tip: Do Justin's mission to get a Microwave. It will give you a key card to the piping room stairs! I won't spoiler any further... You also unlocked all the automatic versions of the benches, check your workbench thing and look at all the machines that look like craftbots. Also, the handheld saw uses batteries from your inventory. The large antenne is used later, keep it safe.
You did not get everything in the boss's secret room. I second the suggestion to do the microwave quest. It has a lot of lore and a lot of loot. (Finish the boss room first.) You can microfarm potatoes by planting only 6 potatoes. You get nine points in a microfarm, and potatoes are 1.5 points each. Fruits (blueberries, oranges, and bananas) are 2 points each so you only get 4 of them. Do your own math if mix and matching. The automated benches are called stations. You'll need a lot of resources to build them and then build chests to connect everything, but it is worth it.
@@greybeard5123 "The "power" meter on your saw is actually a speed meter." Have you actually watched the video? It is CEARLY a battery power level meter. It goes from 100% down to 0% and once it reaches it, another battery is used up. It starts at 0%, because no battery is loaded in yet. The first activation loads up a battery. At 22:10 you can see very good, that the blade ISN'T running, but the meter is at 86%.
I need more of this, I love your survival series and am so glad you've found something to make another series out of. I still find myself going back to watch nomad survival from time to time
justin has a quest to get an old microwave from the basement. he gives you the piping room stairs keycard for the bottom of the stairs. theres a bunch of loot, a chemical pool for pumping, and some lore/easter eggs. highly recommend.
Scrap, if you save your vehicle and then do changes to the one you have spawned, if you delete it to rebuild it, because of different shape or whatever, you will not be able to rebuild it because it also takes into account the contents of the chests of the blueprint, leaving you with all the parts in the inventory and no contents in the chests. Happened to me and lost pretty much everything, don't experiment with it. Lost about 22 hours of grinding.
I know it's probably alot easier to just cut in between clips but the sped up sections are a nice change. Edit: lol also when you were trying to find Ivan, that was funny with some good editing there too
18:38 at this exact moment, Scrapman grabbed a shotgun barrel, let's hope he won't forget it and craft an entire gun from scratch. It's also about time to have an actual base with more chests
Wolves and bulls have same attack as totebots so they can't break 8 durability blocks (metal 3). So your base will be invincible until you grow pineapples or broccoli and bear comes for your (raid level 8+).
percentage goes down and up depending on how many batteries you have in your inventory. dont worry if you got 0% showing, as long as you have batteries in your inventory it should work fine. also, now that youve discovered power tools, its a good idea to set up an alternator. cuz thats a very good method(probably the best now that i think about it) of generating batteries! edit: use the smelter, its literally the best option for metal.... also automated
The percentage is the speed of the blade. It is zero when the blade is stopped, and 100 when the blade is fully spun up. It measures cutting power, not electrical power. He has also unlocked most of the rest of the automated stations too so he can connect his crafting and storage when he gets resources and time.
@@greybeard5123 im well aware of that, just throwing a reminder out there so he doesnt waste resources... also i wrote this as i was watching the video so... yeah...
Handsaw and handheld drill both use batteries, and the % bar is current battery charge remaining. Also, Scrapman definitely needs to do quest to get microwave.
scrapman: builds and brings a chest incase he needs it also scrapman: veeeeeeery reluctant to go back to his car to store the tons of loot he is finding and would rather waste it

If you want to take resources with you, at least also ake your benches with you! Your blocks are useless if you don't have a crafting bench. And slap a couple extra chests onto that car... (maybe also a bed?)
Don't want to be too spoilery but when you go to find your ship be sure to bring either some water buckets or the watering can. It was quite the drive for me so I cheesed it rather than make a second trip
Dang Scrapman was well treated with loot today. I think you should let the wolves kill you because as couple episodess ago you attacked the wolves in the water with the wok and I think the wolves are always provoked now so by letting the kill you the might not attack randomly (put yout stuff in a chest tho) Love the edits too really funny NGL.
HEY BUD!!! why not build a "semi-road like".... Road.. through the forest so you can clear a fast travel path for ur vehicles? Woukd help ur time of travel as well as fit in with bills aesthetic. You could just use fence peices every 3 or 4 blocks, and u could do like 2 parallel lines or even stagger them to get more distance out of your peices and it dont need ro be full all the way.. u could only do, the parts that are the worst and go through thick forest? U could even use the trees as a "natural barrier" since u could plant them now.. just a idea
you should really upgrade your car a little because you have a lot more stuff now than before so it would be a good idea before you go to the cave or wherever the cornets lead to
Una de la misiones es la de la MINA de minerales. Detalles importantes la mina son como un laberinto recordar poder un camino para regresar a la salida. Desesita en traje de burceo para la mina submarinas.
@ScrapMan deciding what to throw away, because of all the stuff, where he as big amounts of chests that are part of the warehouse he can store stuff in until he needs it. 🤣😂
You Kan and Kozmo all just drop items when standing right next to storage... It was panful to watch you throw that pizza away. Why not just drop items you "don't need" in a file cabinet. Maybe you never get them later but hey maybe you need food next time you're in the HQ.
Like please btw Yoo scrapman you know how you crafted a spud barrel yeah you already had a double spud barrel from the bosses room so you could have crafted a double barrel spud gun let's get this comment to a ton of likes so scrapman sees itn
