How and the hell you forget the boom up especially when chaining the equipment down. Thank God no one got hurt but let me tell you that company is going to get a huge repair bill and the driver.😮
prob didn't forget. these things can ride up in transport, hell even moving around the basket can travel a bit, he prob forgot to lock it in place and on the drive it rode up....
@@DominicciSkycamthat boom won’t lift cause of a bump…hydro operated and weighs a couple thousand pounds by itself He had it lifted to load the two scissors and was supposed to lower it back down between them for transport but he forgot. I’m amazed that not only did he not see it in his mirrors he should have stopped when he felt the first strike. The guy is a total f up. I was actually watching this video with his boss earlier this week.

@@jesserodriguez9021I live in Jacksonville and can almost guarantee that they didn't close this bridge down to inspect it. The buckman bridge out here has been falling apart for years and they didn't do anything to it until it separated and one part of it rose a couple inches. Even then they only put a band aid on a bullet hole.
That’s not dust that’s settled on the structure coming off. That’s the concrete being hit and breaking off as a powdered dust; leaving gouge marks in the structure.
Even when the engine is off, there is still hydraulic pressure in the line. A failure of the boom valve or lock could cause the bucket to launch into the air unexpectedly. We would always throw a strap over the boom to prevent this just in case.

Yeah because the Buckman bridge just separating a couple years ago over the St. John’s river was definitely caused by boom lifts hitting it… so glad I moved out of that trash city and trash state only took 30 years to finally realize there’s so many better places 😂😂😂

Same overpass in my county(different place), 3 semi's, 18 months! All 3 destroyed and redestroyed it. How do you know to watch the height on your truck? The height of the overpass is clearly posted.

Something similar happened last year in Las Vegas. It knocked down an important support beam and killed the driver right after who happened to be an on duty a Police Detective. Very sad, so many incompetent people!

as an individual with class A cdl, i learned what clearance height is, rather quickly. ive seen stupid shit like this, however most of the time its an excivator, not a man lift... how does one manage to leave the boom up and not realize it?? on closer examination, it seems its got 2 smaller scisor type manlifts under it still fuckin stunned moment tho
Trying to save time job to job ,Over loaded tried to get away with a boom lift and then load two scissor lifts on the back so he couldn’t put the boom down to were it needed to be .
Just remember some states and districts no matter what the state, doesn't have to have qualifications for a job or even speak or read English. I had a brand new washer and dryer brought to my house, and I live in Central Florida and the two workers did not know how to speak English in the one worker that was there out of the three could barely speak English. Then they wanted to take a dryer that was perfectly working I just wanted matching ones and he thought he was going to put it on the truck when I told him not to. He did not understand.
These are insurance scams . Nobody transporting equipment like that is gonna drive away like that unless they are 16 and dad wouldn’t stop yelling long enough for them to tell them something ain’t right
I cant tell you how many ladders on the freeway I dodge in Jacksonville and I had a guy next to me at the stop light first row, the next light her rear-ended me.
