Hello! This is a bit of a random weekly vlog, but we have lots of chats about how much happier we are in our new life. We can't thank you enough for the kindness and support!
Loved the chatty car talk! Being from Florida I would love to see more of your neighborhoods and English shops. I’ve been a tourist in London, but it’s fun seeing the locals’ lifestyles. Well done boys!❤️❤️
Fun key rings! Thanks for sharing & highlighting that personal growth sometimes comes from pushing ourselves out-of-our comfort zones…Nice to have a vicarious tour of London! 🔑👽🐻
Georgian town houses…3-4 stories, fanlights above the doors. The windows towards the top go smaller for their staff. Great vlog, great weather! You may need to add Mickeys name to your channel 😎🥸
Hi Toby and Mikey Love your blogs. I went to Westfield on Friday with my granddaughter. Low and behold I saw you and Mikey as you were leaving. You both look so happy and even more handsome in the flesh. Gone past before I had a chance to say hello
Hi Guys, I have heard the exact same scenario with regard to meeting friends even though you work from home. Since Covid, more people are working from home and we have all become cosseted and secure. However, it can become quite lonely, thus you need to meet outside people to engage in different kinds of conversations and events. That’s my opinion anyway haha. Thanks for sharing, so pleased you have enjoying your new life. Xx
Hiya fellas. It’s great to see you both looking so well and extremely happy. This move has obviously done you both a world of good im so happy for you both. Now talking smoothies wow very expensive ones thank goodness you enjoyed them. Was that £10.80 each or for two? Got an awful feeling it was each. Toby think your keyring trumps the table lamps 🤣. Have a great rest off the week.
The houses in Notting Hill were developed in the early Victorian times, so they do have Georgian influence but usually Georgian houses are smaller in scale! 😊 Ps how lovely to meet new people! London is tricky! I’ve been here for 20+ years and I know what you mean! Good for you for reaching out and expanding your circle! X
MIKEY 🤩🤩🤩🤩 ! You looked so great in that close up at the restaurant 🤩🤩🤩 🏝️ Tobias, I’m loving the beachy hair vibez. Congrats on making new friends and all of the positivity guys 🫶🫶
I totally hear you when you say 'I'm scared people see me as boring if we're quiet.' Not being spontaneously chatty can often seem like a curse, but not knowing when to shup up is even worse in my opinion. 😉
I’ve enjoyed your channel for a while and lately enjoying it even more. This move was unexpected but seems to have been the best for you both. You guys are radiating positivity. I’ll keep watching for sure. From NY with love!
I’m with you, everyone said that they loved both your moustaches so I didn’t want to rock your boat. Tobys is ok as he is fair but Mike’s reminds me of the village people. Keep the Vlogs coming ❤
I enjoyed the stroll around with you two, thanks. Hate to be an architecture geek, but I’m afraid I’d call those houses “Italianate”-think of Osborne House, designed by Prince Albert on the Isle of Wight, which helped popularize the style. The Victorians idea of an Italian villa.
Think about what you say people Toby and Mikey are so polite but I will say There are ways of airing views I love their looks whatever because they are both totally handsome but they look great and reinvent themselves often Maybe just say prefer you looking A or B
I had to go back and listen a few times especially but it sounds like you said the product smelled like “F@nny lol. Also you Guys Shop in Abercrombie & Fitch?!?……. I’ve never been a fan of them. As it was always a bit too white/blonde Nazi Barbie & Ken Atmosphere and the clothes were all lumber jack vibes. But I heard stories years ago from people about A&F who worked for them or tried to get jobs with them. But…That was before the documentary came out. (I’m Not having a go or anything just was shocked as I didn’t realise they were still manufacturing.) Also the properties around that Area of Notting Hill…. Are typically Victorian/Italianate Styles they are a mixture between the two, also those streets range between 6m up to 15m and up. Depending on the renovation work that’s been carried out in recent years. Also if they have basements. Especially since London put a stop to the mega sub basement movement. But when they were built that was the style to have. As most of the built up areas of Traditional architecture are either Regency Styles (Belgravia/Regents Park/Mayfair) then later Victorian/italianate (Notting Hill & Kensington) and then the red brick and stone Victorian and Edwardian mix styles (Knightsbridge/Chelsea/Fulham). Various architects building up areas of London took influences from the past centuries but adapted to the times they were built. Unlike today where they build overly modern glass structures. Not an expert just I am fascinated by architecture and interior design and the history of certain Areas and the craftsmanship. I feel like there are certain parts of history that you can appreciate that aren’t wholy shrouded in the bad/negative elements. Well to an extent anyways. But as long as you don’t forget the negative aspects/history of things it is still possible to appreciate the quality and value of something. Glad to see you both enjoying London still. Also you both do what makes you happy. But for personal reasons I am not a fan of moustaches! lol But everyone can have an opinion on something…..But some of the comments about how Mickey looks is not ok!!! I have seen it on a few now and people need to stop. He’s a lovely guy very sweet and kind natured. He’s a good looking man too. And he’s trying something different. We all try things and experiment to find what works for us. Everyone needs to be a bit kinder. So anything I have said in this comment was meant in a positive/light hearted way. So I hope it’s received that way. Take care both of you. ❤
Thanks so much!! Haha I don’t think we did say that 😂😂 Yes we were the same with A&F but they’ve had a bit of a rebrand in recent years and seem to have evolved which is nice! Thanks so much ♥️
