Ronald Reagan Washington National ⁠Airport offers one of the best location for plane spotting in the United States. Gravelly Point Park is the perfect spot for plane spotting when DCA is using the River Visual approach to runway 19. It’s breathtaking to see the planes fly so low over head as they straighten up for the runway. The sound is incredible and loud. Enjoy

I use to go here on Sundays with my girlfriend at that time and watch the landings and take offs! It was the best part of ending the weekend

I’m going to DCA next Monday. Specifically chose DCA as it’s the airport I’ve wanted to fly to the most. I really hope we do river visual on landing because I got a perfect seat on the left side.

Notice how fast the nose wheel comes down on most of those. That one landing near the end was such butter that there was no landing smoke. Man, these guys are skilled.
