I just binged this show this past weekend and I laughed out loud during every single episode! It’s about time we got a lighthearted mindless comedy that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Seth MacFarlane delivered! I loved this show and I can’t wait for season 2!

Yes lighthearted? Found the American. Piss and shit humor isn’t lighthearted… unless a toddler or immature. I know the US is a dystopia where people think celebrities and comedians are prophets of truth and the only way people get out of their depressed bubble is by laughing or being entertained. But the term civilized is a real thing, even if you are raised like primitive cattle. Fun show, not arguing that. But it’s getting unsettling how twisted concepts and definitions are. It’s like monkey want, monkey think.

This show is great. It's like a 90s sitcom for all of us as adults (and I think the Mom really makes it). I was losing my mind that my power went out for 2 days after I watched the first episode; but it was worth waiting for!

I think the Bennetts are my new favorite "TV" family. This is a prequel to the films focusing on John's teenage and high school years. Two cast members of The Orville are in this, Scott Grimes plays Matty Bennett and Penny Johnson Gerald played the principal.
