This has to be the best Roguelike of the year | Balatro 

Been watching Aliensrock play this recently so I was happy to see it show up on this channel as well! I'm really hyped for the full game to come out, the demo is already insanely impressive!

Was so happy when the game forced you to take the royal flush, i was mentally screaming as you kept missing it

You get a Royal Flush at 15:33, but then you discard the 10 at 15:42. Big RIP - At least you got to play it at 16:13!

I also had a ton of fun playing this! You can look at your deck by clicking "Run Info" on the left side of the page, and the holographic cards give you +10 mult on top of their other effects. I didn't ever see the suits are blended by color joker! That's a sick draw early for sure - but it seemed to make the game a bit mindless. GG on the dub - took me a few hours to do the same

Despite never having playing poker in my life, I suddenly have an irresistible urge to play this game Edit: I just got the stupidest game where I got a joker card which added mult for each time that specific poker hand had been played that game. I just played pairs for the entire run and was getting *30 mults from that card alone at the end. Of course, I had a bunch of other cards that increased my hand size, gave mult for consecutive poker hands without face cards, rewarded the usage of ace (I just multiplied aces like crazy after that) and smaller poker hand sizes I love how such a stupid build became so strong

So many fun combos in this game. I believe stone cards are meant to be used with the splash joker, which makes every card played count regardless of hand.

Comming here at 06.10.2024 and it's AMAZING what Balatro has become.

Yesss! So happy to see you getting around to this incredibly awesome game! It might not be for everyone, but I for one am an enormous fan of roguelikes that are heavy on the math and strategy of calculating what it takes to win. And this game is a perfect example of where understanding meets payoff. Such insane ways to go crazy big with scores! I absolutely love it!!

This game is way more fun that I was expecting.

this game's great. someone already pointed out the run info button, but a couple other things- You can drag jokers around to change the order they activate in (left to right) - you can also drag the cards around in the tarot interface, which matters for that one that turns two other cards into the rightmost one. There's a sort by suit button right in the middle you could have used for a bit more convenience. Multiplier is really strong at the beginning but it's easy to neglect chip counts- if you don't keep scaling those too, you'll fall behind. You can use the upgrading rank tarot to help that, and turn a 10 into a Jack, etc. I believe you can always play a stone card with a hand and it will give you the chips, obviously it doesnt fit into any poker hand.

This looks super fun. I'm glad I work from home because I started shouting at the screen when you almost missed a straight flush. :)

dam im not i to poker but this looks dope. its interesting how devs are turning regular playing cards into games like this. i know i saw 1 that was kinda like slay the spire but poker

pretty funny to win with basically the only black cards left in the deck. Without even playing this I think I like it more than Solitairica

the joseph j j card was way better than the golden, one gives on average 1 dolar per played face card, with +3 hands you are getting way more than 4 per blind
