What is the Brit obsession of going abroad to eat and drink British products? I really, really don't understand it. Wherever we travel, we eat and drink "local" and have a thouroughly good time (aside from my wife's belly reacting to squid ink in one paelella that we had in Los Cristianos.

I’ve eaten in literally hundreds of places in Tenerife over the years, and the only place I tell people not to go to eat is the Aberdeen Angus Steak Houses (especially this one). We ordered dinner, which came out far too quickly, and most of us were ill afterwards. Avoid them!

Anywhere that shows photos of food on the outside of the shop or on the menu, I will avoid. Many takeaways do this, and I avoid them too.

You are never going to get British sourced meat in a steakhouse chain in Tenerife. Not sure what you expected really - just because they do steak means nothing. I have only been in there a couple of times because I don't eat steak - both times the meal was excellent. Nice Pizza and 2nd time the bolognese which was one of the best I have ever had.

Stopped going to Aberdeen Steakhouse a few years ago. Gone terrible

I suspect food cooked in bulk and then put on hot trays or under hot lamps. The eggs, and saw it done once in cafe/sandwich shop I believe pre-cooked friend and then left to go cold as bulk cooked and then afterwords put in microwave to heat up, the yokes then go runny again.but very quickly so back to almost solid or half/half mess.

Disgraceful breakfast. Not even a dog would eat that and if it did, would need to lick its ball bag after to get the taste out

This sort of breakfast is what I would of expected if you had done a “Search for the €1 Breakfast” - I’m not a connoisseur by any means but the bean to juice ratio was ridiculous - I was half expecting you to stand up and smash the sausage off the side of the table! IMPO as a Chef the only thing not totally Fucked up was the toast. I would never let a plate like that leave my kitchen! Those eggs, my God, I would not expect a Garbage Disposal to eat them. The black pudding, hash browns, sausages, bacon look deep fried and the mushrooms looked rotten or had been run through the dish machine to cook them.

You are a fussy so and so, and I'd have demolished that in rapid fashion. But then I like things a bit overdone like my eggs and bacon, and I'm not averse to catering sausages either. There didn't look to be much wrong with it for cafe prices. But you were entertaining as always! 😊

What a disgusting attempt at a breakfast. I would have sent it back as it wasn’t fit for purpose. Reheated garbage. Restaurants should be ashamed of themselves for even sending that out of the kitchen let alone charging for it. I would give the steak a miss.

I reckon these Aberdeen steak house places are sadly 1 of the few remaining aspectsnof Tenerife that are stuck in the 80s/90s timewarp & still try & get away with being pretty dire! Good vlog though Lee! 👍👍

Aberdeen steakhouse's have been in Tenerife as long as I can remember maybe over 30 years ,think I've been in one once .But that breakfast looked like it had been hanging around for quite a while .

It astounds me you persist in having ‘Full English’ breakfasts when you’re in Spain including places like Tenerife or Benidorm - you can get perfectly nice SPANISH type breakfasts there you know 😉.

Looks like it was prepared the evening before and then microwaved to warm it up. The eggs look rubbery. I've lived in France for nearly 50 years but only eat Heinz baked beans because the standard haricot beans are tasteless even in so-called tomato sauce. A few years ago a group of us from work went to Norfolk to inspect some boats being built for us. One of the guys was a very difficult eater and would only eat pizzas. However, in the hotel we stayed in, we had full English and he couldn't get enough of it. When properly done, it's the best meal in the world.

That food looked like it was left overs from the day before. I also question why there are hashbrowns on an English/Scottish breakfast. Bubble and squeak would be appropriate. Personally i would have sent it back and ordered the roadkill instead.

You would been better going a couple of doors up from there to Jags bar….one of best breakfasts you can get in Las Americas there. Always go there for brekky when we go

Probably done in the oven as its easier to cook a lot of food at once. Premier inn cooks theits in the oven which is why I ask them to poach the egg.

Well you did ask for an Aberdeen breakfast. It was made in Aberdeen and flown in just for you. Is this place actually part of the legitimate steak house chain or is it just some fly by night using a very similar name, logo and branding? Years ago when I went to Spain there was quite a few "McDonald's" which actually weren't - until McDonald's threatened to sue them.

We visit Benalmadena regularly and Puerto de la Cruz and you are correct about the places with the food photos outside, normally terrible, the boards are mass produced somewhere. l can now tell the Mrs l was correct all along.PS never eat or drink at a quiet place

Agree with your 2/10 mate. It looked awful. It was dryer than the Sahara Dessert. The reason i give those 2 points is because of the eggs and bacon. The egg yoke looked hard as nails but i do like the white well done underneath so I'll give a point for that. The bacon looked ok'ish but you said it tasted quite salty which bacon should do to be fair, so I'll give another point for that. The sausages looked like a bannister rail we have on our staircase lol. The rest looked terrible too. No fried bread either which will always irk me as a full english has to have fried bread. The food on your plate has been cooked before you got there & then reheated for your order. If they can’t cook a good English breakfast, I’d be surprised if they can cook a nice steak.

Traveling to Spain to eat awful food when you eat awful food here at an Aberdeen Steakhouse in the UK. Expect food from a steakhouse like this, really. Thats exactly what you should expect from an Aberdeen Steakhouse. Just for a change how about trying out a chicken tikka marsala, sweet and sour, roast dinner, or a ploughman's, perhaps.

We filmed the aberdeen steak house tapas in corralejo, awful stuff. It wasnt that it tasted horrible, it was that everything tasted of nothing! We gave 1.5, i think you giving them a 2 is very generous lol will be avoiding there when we're in tenerife over christmas

It didn't look too bad, but... I'd love to see more places doing a full Scottish. Square sausage. potato scone, a slice of haggis and also some marmite for the toast. It's weird. In B'pool there are so many Scottish folk and very few do this. When I lived there in 2000, my sis brought down some of those things. They started doing a Scottish brekkie. Been doing it ever since.

Awful..........I thought the beans were a cup of ketchup. Mushrooms blended into the black pudding. Plastic yolk on the eggs and just yuck bacon...............

We had fillet steaks at the other Aberdeen Steak House near Las Vistas beach in August. 2 fillet steaks and a jug of sangria for €50. Food was brilliant!

That's gutting for Aberdeen steakhouse. I used to live having there mixed grills and steak bk in the 2000s. There desserts were also amazing 👌🏻Unfortunately not been bk to the island since so I no alot has changed. Can't wait to go bk there
